Ground Floor condo, 2 BR 2BA fully furnished and equipped. We bought this unit recently and discovered what a great neighborhood the Conquistador Condos in Saint Augustine Shores is. Super quiet and friendly. Mature trees throughout keep the place shaded and cool. Car wash area. 3 pools (one with a direct riverview), one heated, private fishing pier on the Inland Waterway, riverviews throughout the complex, beautiful park with exercise trail, golf course, plenty of tennis courts, bike paths galore. For the active vacationer, I am including the use of two bicycles and tennis rackets. Stacked washer / dryer, all the linens and kitchen equipment to make your stay comfortable and convenient.

Convenient shopping (Publix, CVS, Walgreens, Banks, Gas station, Restaurants). St. Augustine Hospital 5 minutes away. All the historical locations in downtown Saint Augustine are 5 minutes away. Crescent Beach is just over the bridge on SR 206. 30 minutes to Jacksonville, 30 minutes to Daytona Beach. Perfect for business trips in NE Florida or Daytona 500 Raceweeks , Motorcycle weeks.

Inside you will find , Comcast Hi Definition cable (with HBO), 32' Flatscreen, Super Fast WIFI, Office setup for your business needs. Ceiling fans and new AC installed. Screened porch with vinyl sliders.

** Condo rules allow ONE small pet (under 15 lbs) dog OR cat and I allow SMOKERS.

Good basic accommodations

approx 5 miles south of St. Augustine, very quiet condo development, great proximity to I95, A1A and St Rte 1, shopping, and 15 minutes into St. Aug. easy on-site parking, heated pool in next section, unheated pool just 30 seconds from unit. Intracoastal visible from unit; pier still out since Hurricane; easy walking, super good weather for winter. Unit contains the basics, nothing fancy or elegant. Very easy to keep clean during our 4-mo stay. Landlord is the most accommodating we've ever met! If you are a gourmet cook, plan to bring some of your own cooking vessels / equipment, as the unit has basics. As with most condos, no BBQ'ing at the unit, but there are charcoal grills at the Club. The screened-in back porch is a true plus, could use some furniture updates. I think that 2 adults is the perfect # for this unit, although there is a 2nd BR for one child. I used that for my sewing area, brought my own machine and fabrics, etc, so it worked out great for us. Fishing, shopping, rides out, the beach are all near and convenient to get to. St. Augustine and outer areas are loaded with excellent restaurants. Plenty to see and do, took lots of day-out rides and visited friends in other areas of eastern FL and could still get back to the unit for night. Daytona area is just 1 hr; Orlando area about 2-2 1/2 hrs. Kennedy Space Ctr about 2 hrs., and many other things to see / do in similar time. We would consider another winter here when returning to FL again in coming years.

St Augustine Shores, Florida

We enjoyed our stay at the condo. The owner was very pleasant and easy to work with and very accommodating.

We stayed four months. The pool was very close to the condo. There was a pier very close by and very beautiful to look at the river and others fishing. A very friendly community. It was a short distance to historic down town. St Augustine is a beautiful area.

Great location

We booked for one week and loved the area so much we stayed for 3 weeks. The owner was very helpful. Easy to reach. We fished off the pier. We golfed at the Shores in a tournament. Met lots of locals who were all very welcoming. Pool is steps from front door. Unit had everything we needed. The location is perfect. Minutes to historic St. Augustine, beaches, shopping. Hope to stay a month next summer! Just a reminder...owner advertises smokers welcome.
