Very beautiful, bright apartment in the 4th floor with view of Schöneberg and the greenery. You enter the apartment via a lavish hallway with cloakroom. The apartment with cable (Flat screen) TV, DVD-Player, stereo, internet and telephone (both with unlimited use) has a dining table for 6 persons, a comfortable sofa bed as well as a book case with information on Berlin and light fiction for rainy days. There is a seating corner with sun umbrella on the southern balcony. There is a cozy, lavish bedroom with double bed and large cupboard as well as a small bedroom with a comfortable sofa bed and 2 wardrobes. The kitchen with breakfast counter is fully equipped with dishwasher, cooking range with fume hood, baking oven, refrigerator, coffee machine, electric kettle and toaster. Crockery and cutlery as well as cooking utensils are available. The bathroom has a bath tub with shower, a big wash basin, a mirrored cabinet and blow dryer.

Additional Information : In spite of its central location, there are rambling parks for strolling, jogging and walking in the immediate vicinity. The summer open-air swimming pool at the Insulaner Park is within walking distance. You can also visit one of Berlin's planetarium here and learn all about Berlin's starry skies through a presentation.

Lovely stay!

Stayed for three nights with a friend while we ran the Berlin marathon. Lovely apartment, very clean, had breakfast on the balcony sat in the sun, fab location just five mins walk from the train station to get to the hustle of Berlin within 20 ish mins. Many thanks, Jane and Julie

Great apartment

A very comfortable apartment (once you've climbed the 5 flights of stairs!) well equipped and with plenty of room for four adults. Ute was friendly and helpful, and the Lidl just across the road was much appreciated! Reasonable transport links to the City centre but far enough out of town not to be be surrounded by other tourists. Highly recommended.

Very pretty app. with good location

Big app. with 2 bedrooms ( one smaller with sofa , one big with doublebed), kitchen with all needed equipment ( dischwascher , toaster, owen...), big living room with wifi, TV , big table, sofa and balcony, shower room with WC. App. is situated in pretty green area , next door is supermarket Lidl and S bahn is 5 min walking. App. was clean and nice. There is also one locking parking place.Owner Ute was very helpfull, nice person. We like Berlin and this is good place to accomodation and visiting it with children or friends.

FeWo mit Flair

Die Wohnung hat ein tolles Flair: Holzdielen, Doppelfenster, ein sehr angenehmes Ambiente.

Sie ist sauber und die Lage zur S-Bahn toll.

Nachteilig ist die laute Straße zur Schlafzimmerseite - aber man ist ja schließlich in Berlin und nicht im Schwarzwald. Auch der 4.Stock ist nach einem Tag Stadtanschauen etwas heftig - geht aber.

There is a big supermarket right opposite the house, where you can buy everything for your daily needs. Several shops in the surroundings are within walking distance. The Steglitzer Schlossstraße, one of the largest and most modern shopping streets of Berlin is approx. 1.5 km away. The bus routes 187 and 246 are in the vicinity. You can reach the government district and the shopping centers of the City-West with the highly frequent bus route 187. The Friedenau station, with route S1, is at a 10 minute walking distance. From here you can immediately reach the City-East with the Potsdam square, Unter den Linden (Under the linden trees), Alexander square, the Friedrichstraße and the Museum Island. You can reach the Botanical gardens or Wannsee with connection to Potsdam and its sights if you travel in another direction. A popular Berlin district with many restaurants and pubs lies behind the Friedenau station. You can learn to Tango here.

Other Activities: Jogging, walking and strolling in the park and several rambling small garden colonies

Golf: Why not combine a trip to the city with a golfing holiday? There are golf courses in and around Berlin, which you can reach quickly and comfortably, owing to the convenient location of the apartment as regards transport facilities. How would it be, for example, to reach the GLC Berlin-Wannsee (18+9 hole) which is 18 km away in 25 minutes. Or the Großbeeren golf range (9 hole, 13 km/ 20 minutes) or the Mahlow Golf Club (9 hole, 16km/20 minutes). One City-Driving-Range is located on the radio tower highway junction and another near the Museum of Technology (approx. 4 km away).
