About Annette Anderson

Living in Revelstoke,21 years. This has been our family home. All the children have moved out, horses, and farm animals gone. We don't need all this room. Now we are going to share this with you.We have built this place up over the years for entertaining, having a outdoor kitchen, bbq's,fire pits, horse shoes makes it a great place for fun.

Annette Anderson purchased this chalet in 2001

Why Annette Anderson chose British Columbia Mountains

This is a special place,Revelstoke. We came here for work, not expecting it to be a lifetime destination. The community has everything you can think of to do outdoors,in all 4 seasons.I have hosted several wedding for friends, large family get togethers, and of coarse night time fire parties.

We are in a area of several large acreages, this makes it a great set up for family gathering or weddings. They are all walking distance of each other.

What makes this chalet unique

We fell in love with this home for many reasons. The log home is situated under a canopy of cedar trees, with a view of a waterfall and creek from the house.Being it is located south of town,it is called the banana belt of revel stoke. Our property goes right down to the flats, which gives you, fishing, quading, horseback riding,snowshoeing,cross-country.The list goes on and on.All of this only 13km from downtown and 4 min to the ski hill.

Cozy Cabin in Revy!

  • 5 of 5

We very much enjoyed our stay at the cabin! The pictures do not do it justice! We had a group of 8 adults and there was more than enough room for all of us. The kitchen is ridiculously equipped and the living spaces are really enjoyable to relax in. Great access to the ski hill, hot tub is awesome and the pool table is a nice touch. We had a few people not partaking in the winter activities and there is a great TV set up as well as lots of places to curl up and read a book. Staying in the cabin over New Years was so lovely as it allowed us to have our own little celebration and the owners were great at being available but not intrusive.

Would highly recommend it especially for big groups who like to cook and relax in a beautiful log cabin!

Mountain serenity and luxury

  • 5 of 5

Annette was gracious enough to accommodate18 of us at her chalet home, adjacent cabin, and park two trailers on the property for a family reunion. My American relatives couldn't believe how lovely this piece of Canada is. The property is immaculate and interesting, with a lovely flower garden, creek and waterfall, and hiking trails. The chalet and cabin are supplied with towels, plush bedding, comfy beds, and beautiful bathrooms. Outdoors is a great little gathering spot with a fire ring, covered cook area, and a high-quality hot tub. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and dishes, as long as you don't have too many cooks in the kitchen at once! Annette was attentive but not nosy, and it's clear that she takes great pride in her property. The location is stunning... a short drive along the Columbia River from Revelstoke takes you past blue herons, flood plains, and snow-peaked mountains. The town has cute shops and coffee bars, and the Pipe mountain coaster was a blast. I didn't realize how much there was to do in Revelstoke in the summer, but the property is so beautiful and serene that you may not ever feel like leaving!

Little Piece of Heaven!!

  • 5 of 5

Absolutely amazing property!! We rented both the main house and the cabin for a week, 10 of us in total and were more than comfortable. Annette and Duane are wonderful people and take great care of their guests and property. Thank you so much for opening your home to us and allowing us to share in your beautiful abundance! High end appliances, bedding and towels, along with a very well stocked kitchen (dishes/appliances), even shampoo and conditioner in the showers, we had everything and more than we needed. The pool table, hot tubs, fire pit and covered outdoor area were added bonuses for entertainment, we had so much fun! And an exercise room to boot! The property is a short drive into Revelstoke and to ample attractions and adventures in the area. We deemed it "our little piece of heaven" for the week and though the pictures are beautiful, they don't do it justice for how absolutely gorgeous it is! I was completely happy just sitting on the deck with my coffee, listening to the waterfall and staring into the amazing scenery surrounding us. We were sad to leave and hope to return again one day. I would highly recommend this property to anyone and everyone, except for when we want to return of course! Lol!

Owner and Property Amazing

  • 5 of 5

We rented the property for my sons wedding. We arrived to very clean and well stocked place had everything we needed for our stay just had to bring our own groceries. Annette met us when we arrived to make sure we had everything we needed. There were 5 adults and 3 children ages 15 to 7 in the house and 2 adults in cabin at back.

We had plenty of room and lots of towels for bathing and the hot tubs. The pool table and exercise room were an asset and got used alot. Would highly recommend this property and would rent again !! Friends and family that stopped in were really impressed!!

Beautiful Chalet & Property

  • 5 of 5

We spent the July long weekend at this absolutely beautiful property. Annette and Duane met us at the property and were very friendly and accommodating when we turned up early and when our number of guests changed. The house was clean and comfortable and had everything you might need. We were a group of 12 and we comfortably fit in the house. It is a very fun place to stay with a pool table and hot tub. It is only a short drive to the many great activities in Revelstoke.

This property was lovely with a waterfall and beautiful flowers. The owners clearly take pride in this property.

I would definitely rent this place again (summer or winter) and rate it 5 out of 5!

Beautiful property, well maintained and perfect for family gatherings.

  • 4 of 5

Recently stayed at the chalet with our extended family to celebrate a birthday! Our crew included 8 adults, two teenagers, a two year old and a 6 month infant. The chalet is well outfitted with a high chair, playpen/crib, and plenty of toys for younger children. Our first day of weather was beautiful which allowed us to enjoy the beautiful outdoor setting which included a nice covered sitting area offering shade, a hot tub, BBQ and plenty of chairs for sitting during the day and access to the firepit at night. Proximity to the "waterfall" (man made as a result of a culvert - but you wouldn't know without looking closely) created a nice ambience though the waterflow was impressively high given our visit was in mid-May during high runoff period from the mountains which meant the rushing water was quite loud, though also relaxing in a sense making sure you felt you were out of the city.

The Chalet is well supplied in the kitchen and suited our group well for larger meal preparation. Our second day was more inclement forcing us inside for a good part of the day where the pool table and access to high speed internet, tv and stereo were appreciated to pass the day and keep the teenagers occupied.

Overall we enjoyed the stay and felt the Chalet was "as advertised". While the basement bedrooms and basement as a whole are not finished to the same standard as the remainder of the chalet they are more than adequate and offer plenty of sleeping arrangements for up to three adults in each of the two rooms as well as access to a nicely finished and relatively new shared bathroom.

The property was clean and well maintained, owners are available on-site should you require any assistance and very welcoming and friendly.

We would definitely recommend the property and would stay again as we felt it offered good value, particularly for a group the size of ours.
