Modern, 3 Bed, 2 Bath, Full Kitchen Living And Dining Rms with City View

The Bat City House is a 1920's restoration of a classic craftsman home, sitting on the hillside just to the west of the heart of downtown Austin.

With a modern and contemporary style, these private guest quarters were added to the lower level during the restoration process. Featuring a fully equipped kitchen, open floor plan kitchen/living/dining room areas with large windows for downtown views, three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, washer and dryer, private guest entrance, and french doors that open to a large private backyard for outdoor dining.

Reserved parking is conveniently located at the street in front of property, and we offer private, covered and gated parking upon request (best used if you decide to store your car during your stay). The rental is also equipped with a security system (security code provide upon request).

Located just blocks from everything downtown Austin, but quiet, safe, secure and private.

We work at HomeAway and the location of this property was fantastic. We walked to and from the office, usually via Whole Foods. The rooms were spacious, practical and spotless. We had a lovely tiered garden to enjoy at the end of the day with a view of the city lights. The owners were attentive and so considerate. They made 3 umbrellas appear out of nowhere on a rainy day! We will stay here again.

Very clean, thoughtful interiors and furnishings / wonderfully landscaped yards with great Oak trees canopy / close and convenient to sixth street but far enough away to have quiet nights / Owner (Chuck) gave great tips on what to see and do in Austin. Highly recommend Bat City House and would stay there again on next Austin trip.

Best place in the best neighborhood! Great views and walk to everywhere.

Best place in the best neighborhood. This clean and modern space with views of the Austin skyline and walkable to everything was the perfect place for two couples on a trip to Austin. Chuck greeted us and made sure we had everything we needed and was always available if we had questions.

The stylish landscaping and modern furnishings in the middle of this historic neighborhood were a treat. Parking wasn't a problem with the resident only permit available and it was super quiet for sleeping.

We will always stay here on return trips to Austin, our new home away from home.

Great place to stay! Impeccable accommodations. Beautifully furnished flat filled with essential supplies, lovely patio area. Hosts are so friendly and helpful. And the location worked perfectly for us. Restaurants, shops and Whole Foods are within walking distance. And, with its central location, it's near many points of interest in Austin. Highly recommend Bat City House!

Immaculate Property and gracious hosts!

This place is in the heart of the city! Three blocks from a whole foods yet with the backyard landscape, somehow they have made it feel remote. All decorations complete with stainless steel appliances, Bose stereo and even bath products from Whole foods, were very well thought out. Everything we needed was there and we would absolutely stay again!
