About Stacy Eagan-Libero

We live in the Northeast and after years of traveling all over the Caribbean, we visited Provo in 2000. We knew immediately that Provo was 'home'. The island vibe, the friendly people, the beautiful beaches and the way we felt sealed the deal that we would be back. We returned in 2002 and started looking for our piece of paradise. Five visits later, we came upon our Dream Home. We hope you enjoy it a much as we do.

Stacy Eagan-Libero purchased this villa in 2013

Why Stacy Eagan-Libero chose Turks & Caicos

The home has everything we've always envisioned. A villa style structure with modern appointments, lots of space inside and out and a direct access to the water. The water was the cherry on top of the sundae. The colors are unmatched anywhere in the world. The 'Shades of Blue' cannot be described. You must see it to believe it.

What makes this villa unique

On low wind days you can take the kayaks across Silly Creek and around to the beach. You are very close to the center of things but far enough away to achieve maximum privacy. The home has never been lived in and we look forward to all of our guests helping us start a tradition of heading over to Long Bay, bringing back a conch shell and leaving a message on the steps!

Guestbook comments from the manager

I just got back from spending a week at Shades of Blue and am so pleased! Everything was even more beautiful than the pictures can show. The house is very spacious, we comfortably slept 8 adults. We spent most of our time outside - the pool and ocean are amazing. We enjoyed fishing and swimming from the dock, kayaking around the bay, and volleyball in the pool. The house came with everything we could need - towels, floats, fishing rods, etc. It is secluded in what I felt was a very safe area, but yet only a 10-25 minute drive to anything you can need (groceries and the famous Grace Bay beach). We also tried out Las Brisas - the closest bar/restaurant to the house and were very impressed! It is on the pricey side, but worth it for a dinner out and close to the house. We rented a van for the week which I recommend doing if you plan on doing any exploring. Lucy, the property manager met us at the airport and helped us get our car, and lead us back to the house. Check out was a breeze as well. Stacy was very easy to work with and accommodating. We went on a boat excursion with "Blue Whales Tours & Excursions" and had a blast. They took us fishing, to a ship wreck and to Iguana Island all at a very reasonable price.

The house is 10/10 and I highly recommend. Not to mention the island itself is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been!

Thanks again to Stacy and Lucy for making our time so great!"

Thank you!

Molly

Look No Further

With water views from front to back, Shades of Blue is perfectly placed with the best views on Provo.

From the moment you drive up, you instantly feel at ease. The home is beautiful. I loved the colors and off the plants, trees and flowers. With the high ceilings and numerous windows, I found myself looking out and up over and over. With unobstructed direct waterviews from every bedroom window, you will be sure to have a breeze. I stayed in one of the "Chalk Sound" Bedrooms. It had a direct view of Chalk Sound, beautiful French doors onto a Juliet Balcony. The evening breeze was such that using a/c wasn't even a consideration. No mosquitoes allowed me to keep the doors open all night long. The Libero's use an Extermination service to keep that well under control. I had the best night's sleep and woke up refreshed every day. The sunrises from my window were incredible.

The setup here is equally balanced for a romantic getaway or a family fun vacation. There are kayaks, bikes, fishing pole, golf clubs, tennis raquets, rafts, pool toys and snorkel gear, which I took down to the dock and discovered all kinds of fish by the mangroves. My favorite little hideaway was under the palm outside the downstairs master bedroom's balcony. There I would sit in the chaise and look out at the Caribbean Ocean and Emerald Cay. My other favorite place was sitting down at the dock either in the tied up rafts or in the Adirondack chair. There are so many places on the property to just sit, relax and clear the mind looking at the gorgeous, turquoise waters of Turks and Caicos.

There is so much fresh produce growing at Shades of Blue tended by the groundskeepers. Watermelon, Papaya and Guava was perfect for eating with every meal, and of course, muddled in our favorite rum punches :), pineapple, coconut, banana and avocado in their early stages, tomatoes, corn and okra abound. This feature amazed me and completely up for grabs. Some mornings we would wake up and the Groundskeepers had picked the day's harvest and left it on the outside dining table....where am I???

I was in my own personal Heaven at Shades of Blue. No detail was missing. I will stay here with my family every year until I can buy my own slice of paradise. Thank you to the Liberos!

Breathtaking

  • 5 of 5

This house is amazing. My wife and I went for our honeymoon and could not be happier with our trip. The property manager met us at the airport and helped us with our rental car and we followed her to the villa. Pictures cannot do this place justice. The house is located on a very quiet road with views out every window. Nothing on the island is more than 12-20 minutes from this house. The owners provided everything from rafts for the pool, to snorkeling equipment and everything you would need. If you are looking for the most relaxing Caribbean you've ever imagined, this is the place to stay. It is perfect for couples up to large families!

A week in Paradise!!

  • 5 of 5

We can't thank Stacy and her family enough for allowing us to spend a week in this absolutely beautiful home. When we arrived, the house and pool were incredibly clean. The property was perfect. The home's amenities are elegant yet comfortable. The availability of kayaks and snorkel equipment allowed us to create our own adventures and we could go whenever we wanted instead of a guided tour. Lucy, the property manager, met us at the airport as promised and provided valuable information for our stay. I hope we are fortunate enough to return to this amazing property. Please don't be swayed by the one negative review. This villa and it's surrounding property is everything pictured and more!!

A Week In Paradise!

  • 5 of 5

This property is everything and more! Upon arrival, Lucy the property manager, met us at the airport as promised and showed us to the house. As soon as we pulled in the driveway all of our thoughts went to "WOW it is everything that was pictured"! The house was immaculately cleaned and so were the pool are and the surrounding grounds. The house has snorkel equipment and two kayaks that we used everyday! This was our first trip to the islands and staying in this house enabled us to "privatize" our vacation and visit many different places on the island.

We can't thank Stacy enough for all of her communications and advice. We can't wait to return for another week in Paradise!!!

One last note...please DO NOT let the one negative review change your mind about renting this house. Perhaps Paradise isn't for everybody!!!

First Visit to Shades of Blue in Turks and Caico's and not our last

  • 5 of 5

We were lucky enough to rent Shades of Blue for 2 weeks June 2016. We came with 8 adults & 2 children the first week and 6 adults and 4 teens the second. This was exactly what was promised by pictures on the vacation rental site. I was a little put back by the one bad review and looked at many other houses before deciding to try this one hoping the bad review was just one persons bad experience (there's always someone that doesn't have a good time).

We were met at the airport by the property manager who went with us over to the car rental agency. Because it was Saturday apparently the busiest day for Avis we were left waiting for 2 cars to be washed and 4 people in front of us to be helped so we were there close to 1-1/2 hours. Lucy (the property manager) waited with us in a hot parking lot for our cars to be ready. She was patient and gave us some good information to use during our stay (grocery stores, restaurants and beaches). She brought her step son and he very friendly and helped to amuse our young grandsons while we waited. Thanks Lucy. Upon arriving at the house we were very anxious to get cool and when we opened the door we were so very thankful that it was cool, clean and exactly what we expected. Lucy gave us some final tips and her cell number in case we needed her. I would like to start with BEST PART the house was beautiful, the pool sparkling and the bay with it view magnificent. There is a dock in the bay with 2 kayaks and each morning the adults took turns paddling the bay. There are floats and snorkels in the garage for our use. The kids had to try it all out. The kitchen was well equipped and we went shopping at the big grocery store right away so we could spend as much time as we could enjoying the house and all it offered. The stores have most everything you can need but the prices were a little shocking at first, but I seemed to get accustomed to it by week 2. It still was a lot cheaper than eating out. There is a beach about 1-1/2 miles from the house. The house has some folding chairs in the garage and we took those with us along with an ice chest (also in the garage) and had a picnic, we almost couldn't get the grandkids out of the water to go back to the house. We spent many days on the other side of the island at Grace Bay where we were able to rent umbrellas and chair (we took the ice chest).

I know this was a long review but I wanted to make sure that it did the house justice. Thanks again.

Great times!

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I and our three little ones (4, 2 and 4 mos) just returned from eight nights at Shades of Blue. I don't think there could be a more apt name for a home. Looking out of any window or from any balcony and you'll see more shades of blue than you ever knew existed. Stacy, the owner, was easy to work with and extremely responsive . Shelly, the property manager , met us at the airport and showed us the way to house (which was great considering our late night arrival). The house was great for our family and had everything we needed. The location near Sapodilla Bay was perfect for beach outings with our kids. It was a wonderful and memorable week. If we're ever back in TCI there's no doubt this is where we'll stay.
