About Stacy Eagan-Libero

We live in the Northeast and after years of traveling all over the Caribbean, we visited Provo in 2000. We knew immediately that Provo was 'home'. The island vibe, the friendly people, the beautiful beaches and the way we felt sealed the deal that we would be back. We returned in 2002 and started looking for our piece of paradise. Five visits later, we came upon our Dream Home. We hope you enjoy it a much as we do.

Stacy Eagan-Libero purchased this villa in 2013

Why Stacy Eagan-Libero chose Providenciales

The home has everything we've always envisioned. A villa style structure with modern appointments, lots of space inside and out and a direct access to the water. The water was the cherry on top of the sundae. The colors are unmatched anywhere in the world. The 'Shades of Blue' cannot be described. You must see it to believe it.

What makes this villa unique

On low wind days you can take the kayaks across Silly Creek and around to the beach. You are very close to the center of things but far enough away to achieve maximum privacy. The home has never been lived in and we look forward to all of our guests helping us start a tradition of heading over to Long Bay, bringing back a conch shell and leaving a message on the steps!

Guestbook comments from the manager

To say Shades of Blue Villa in TCI is "excellent" would be an absolute understatement. Breathtaking would be a more accurate description. When you walk through the front door, you are mesmerized by the view which expands across the entire back wall of the house.

The interior of this home seamlessly blends with the outdoor living space. No photo can properly capture the abundant beauty of this home and its surroundings.

We appreciate the open floor plan this property provides. The high ceilings within create a light and airy feel that brings a sense of relaxation the moment you enter the space. There is ample storage in the kitchen where every amenity you could wish for is catered to.

Plenty of seating throughout the home allows you to experience different views of the landscaped outdoors. We loved the versatility of this property and the fact that there is a generous master bedroom on the first level.

Since the property is located on a peninsula, each and every bedroom has a fantastic view of the turquoise water outside.

We enjoyed lounging on the private dock, swimming in the crystal clear pool, and using the provided kayaks daily. Although we travelled the island extensively during our stay, our best memories were made relaxing at the villa.

Our visit went seamlessly. We felt Lucy, the property manager, was always available should be have needed her assistance. Stacey and Mark were a pleasure to deal with during the planning of the trip. They were always happy to answer any questions and provided us with local information which we found to be very helpful.

You can tell they put so much of themselves into making this a warm, welcoming place.

Overall, Shades of Blue is a beautiful, relaxing, and peaceful place. If that is what you are looking for, then look no further because this place is nothing less than magical.

A week in Paradise!!

  • 5 of 5

We can't thank Stacy and her family enough for allowing us to spend a week in this absolutely beautiful home. When we arrived, the house and pool were incredibly clean. The property was perfect. The home's amenities are elegant yet comfortable. The availability of kayaks and snorkel equipment allowed us to create our own adventures and we could go whenever we wanted instead of a guided tour. Lucy, the property manager, met us at the airport as promised and provided valuable information for our stay. I hope we are fortunate enough to return to this amazing property. Please don't be swayed by the one negative review. This villa and it's surrounding property is everything pictured and more!!

Million Dollar Views in Paradise

  • 5 of 5

From the moment you pull in the driveway, the stunningly gorgeous view constantly amaze. All guests in virtually all rooms are treated to God's best work.

The home is spacious and well-equipped to you get you through your stay. The property manager, Lucy meets you at the airport furnishing a tour not only of the home but also any local points of interest you might be interested in. (Where to buy local fresh fish, hidden beach access etc.)

The kayaks provided one of many high notes allowing us to paddle from the home's dock on lovely Silly Creek, directly to the sea and discover private beaches few on the planet will see. Google the location and you can see the beaches and how close they are.

We found true paradise and hope to be blessed to return often.

Lovely location but house needs maintenance

  • 2 of 5

Shades of Blue is located on amazing real estate. The views from the front of the house are of the beautiful blue of Chalk Sound. From the back patio you look out onto gorgeous Silly Creek and the Atlantic Ocean - a great place to sip you favorite drink and watch the sunset. The house also has a well built dock on Silly Creek where you can relax and listen to the water lapping the shore, or if feeling energetic paddle one of the houses single seater kayaks around the creek. Unfortunately, on the inside of the house we had some problems during our stay. When we took the slip cover off the sleeper sofa so we could open the bed, we found the upholstery was in tatters. Little bits of fabric went everywhere. On our second day as we were preparing breakfast for our family, the electric circuit in the kitchen kept going out. To get to the breaker box you had take a heavy picture frame down in the dining room. Over the next few days we found the circuit could only handle 2 things plugged in at one time before it blew. The doors on both of upstairs balconies were very hard to get open and required lots of wiggling or pushing to open - towards the end of the stay one the handles broke off. The sink in the kitchen had a intermittent leak that someone had tried to fix with a zip tie. On our last day there the leak got much worse and flooded the floor. There were other minor issues - a weather rotted umbrella on the patio, hard to open windows, intermittent wifi etc. The property manager addressed the major issues as best they could during our stay. When I emailed the owner after our trip to express dissatisfaction they were defensive, rude and dismissive and implied we had caused much of the damage. Although we loved our stay and the location of this house was hard to beat we did not feel the house was maintained to a good standard.

Owner's Response: I am the property manager for Shades of Blue, and I dealt with the various complaints from the tenants. The day after their arrival, I received my first call stating the pool pump did not work, and they had no hot water in the master shower. When I arrived at the property, I walked around to the side of the house where the pool pump was working, and I showed it to them. I then went upstairs and turned on the master shower. There was plenty of hot water. The day of their arrival, I told them that they could not overload the plugs in the kitchen, and that was why the appliances were spread around. However, they went ahead and overloaded a plug causing the breaker to trip. The husband said he had been outside trying to reset the breaker. I told him those were the breakers for the pumps and not to touch them or he could create a more serious problem. I then went to the house and reset the kitchen breaker. After a winter's worth of rentals, these were the only people who did not listen to my instructions and tripped the breaker. There is nothing wrong with the door handle on the front upstairs balcony. The master bedroom door handle has been a bit stiff, but it opened. Apparently, they struggled with it and broke it. We now have to replace it. There was no problem with the kitchen sink when they arrived. As they were moving out, I received a phone call from them about a flood under the sink. They never called me earlier. I have to feel they caused the leak by pushing the trash container hard against the drain pipe. Hurricane Irma (a Cat 5 storm) went through here last fall. We have been waiting for the cables for internet to get installed for a number of months. However, I purchased a WIFI box that runs off a cell tower. and for the most part, it works quite well, although we are at the mercy of the utility companies on how well they function. I did take the box to Digicel, and it worked fine afterwards. After dealing with a couple of superficial complaints from the tenants (the pool pump and hot water), I expressed to the owners that I felt these tenants would be trying to extract money from them. As the week went on, it became obvious that I was right especially after they left when they did ask for the return of a substantial sum. Throughout the week, they were on a fault finding mission in their quest to extort money from the owners. They made threats to the owners that they would write a bad report unless funds were reimbursed

This house is amazing. My wife and I went for our honeymoon and could not be happier with our trip. The property manager met us at the airport and helped us with our rental car and we followed her to the villa. Pictures cannot do this place justice. The house is located on a very quiet road with views out every window. Nothing on the island is more than 12-20 minutes from this house. The owners provided everything from rafts for the pool, to snorkeling equipment and everything you would need. If you are looking for the most relaxing Caribbean you've ever imagined, this is the place to stay. It is perfect for couples up to large families!

A Week In Paradise!

  • 5 of 5

This property is everything and more! Upon arrival, Lucy the property manager, met us at the airport as promised and showed us to the house. As soon as we pulled in the driveway all of our thoughts went to "WOW it is everything that was pictured"! The house was immaculately cleaned and so were the pool are and the surrounding grounds. The house has snorkel equipment and two kayaks that we used everyday! This was our first trip to the islands and staying in this house enabled us to "privatize" our vacation and visit many different places on the island.

We can't thank Stacy enough for all of her communications and advice. We can't wait to return for another week in Paradise!!!

One last note...please DO NOT let the one negative review change your mind about renting this house. Perhaps Paradise isn't for everybody!!!

First Visit to Shades of Blue in Turks and Caico's and not our last

  • 5 of 5

We were lucky enough to rent Shades of Blue for 2 weeks June 2016. We came with 8 adults & 2 children the first week and 6 adults and 4 teens the second. This was exactly what was promised by pictures on the vacation rental site. I was a little put back by the one bad review and looked at many other houses before deciding to try this one hoping the bad review was just one persons bad experience (there's always someone that doesn't have a good time).

We were met at the airport by the property manager who went with us over to the car rental agency. Because it was Saturday apparently the busiest day for Avis we were left waiting for 2 cars to be washed and 4 people in front of us to be helped so we were there close to 1-1/2 hours. Lucy (the property manager) waited with us in a hot parking lot for our cars to be ready. She was patient and gave us some good information to use during our stay (grocery stores, restaurants and beaches). She brought her step son and he very friendly and helped to amuse our young grandsons while we waited. Thanks Lucy. Upon arriving at the house we were very anxious to get cool and when we opened the door we were so very thankful that it was cool, clean and exactly what we expected. Lucy gave us some final tips and her cell number in case we needed her. I would like to start with BEST PART the house was beautiful, the pool sparkling and the bay with it view magnificent. There is a dock in the bay with 2 kayaks and each morning the adults took turns paddling the bay. There are floats and snorkels in the garage for our use. The kids had to try it all out. The kitchen was well equipped and we went shopping at the big grocery store right away so we could spend as much time as we could enjoying the house and all it offered. The stores have most everything you can need but the prices were a little shocking at first, but I seemed to get accustomed to it by week 2. It still was a lot cheaper than eating out. There is a beach about 1-1/2 miles from the house. The house has some folding chairs in the garage and we took those with us along with an ice chest (also in the garage) and had a picnic, we almost couldn't get the grandkids out of the water to go back to the house. We spent many days on the other side of the island at Grace Bay where we were able to rent umbrellas and chair (we took the ice chest).

I know this was a long review but I wanted to make sure that it did the house justice. Thanks again.
