We are transplants from Iowa and Missouri, who love East Tennessee. Having moved 17 times throughout our married life, we will leave this property in our pine boxes!
Harry & Joyce Rehagen purchased this apartment in 2010
Fairmont Blvd is a tree lined, quiet neighborhood that is close to shops, restaurants and multiple cultural event locations in Knoxville.
This place is amazing. So quiet and conveniently placed in the city. Harry and Joyce were very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed for a great weekend in Knoxville. Highly recommended!
Love staying at this sweet apartment so close to campus!
My fiancé and I had to move quickly to Knoxville for a job and didn't have time to find an apartment, so we rented this lovely place for a month. Joyce and Harry were great hosts. They got us set up, and then left us to live our lives. The apartment was clean and fully stocked with bedding, towels and all of our kitchen needs. The private spot in the carport made coming and going very easy, and the location was both quiet and close enough to the city to not feel totally isolated. Having access to a private washer and dryer was luxurious. Would definitely recommend. Thank you!
Enjoyed our long weekend. The accommodations were very clean and comfortable, Location was convenient, near highways and restaurants. Would definitely recommend this rental.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Joyce and Harry's Hideaway. They were very welcoming hosts and the property is very comfortable and well equipped. It was our first visit to Knoxville and we loved it! Joyce was very helpful with restaurant recommendations and things to do. Don't miss Litton's Family Restaurant and Bakery. Bring your appetite especially if you are a burger lover. The burgers are huge and are on in-house baked buns. We didn't try the desserts but they looked awesome. Market Street is fun also as there is a Farmer's Market on Saturdays as well as many restaurants. If you are a nature lover, hike and mountain bike at the Ijams Nature Center. You can also swim, kayak and paddle board in the quarry. River Sports provides rentals.
The property was beautiful, nicely located & perfect. Harry & Joyce made us feel at home & were available whenever needed. Loved the apartment, very nicely furnished. Had an absolutely wonderful weekend made better by finding this place. Would recommend it highly to anyone & hope to come back someday for another stay. Thanks Harry & Joyce!! You were the best!!
