We really look forward to welcome you in our spacious, beautiful and comfortable apartment right near the centre of the city. The studio is designed with various vintage finds, seventies design and pieces of art. You can enjoy the secluded, Mediterranean garden in the back. An oasis after the hustle and bussle of the day!
The ground floor of the apartment features a shower, bathroom, kitchenette (including fridge, watercooker and Nespresso machine), large table, a day-bed and a double bed, (which can be made up as two single ones). Ideal if you are with 2 people. The first floor houses another big room with two sleeps and there is a very nice, romantic, small, separate extra bedroom with queen size double bed. There is also the second bathroom and shower. You rent the apartment as a whole, ideal to have the both floors if you are with more than 2 people. We can arrange several combinations of beds.
The city centre is within easy reach, 10 minutes by bike or tram. Restaurants - easy going as well as top rated - and breakfast or coffee corners are within walking distance.
We love to show you our beautiful Amsterdam for locals!
Paul is an interior designer and creator ( tables, bookcases, kitchens , garden houses ,etc. ) and Bonnita is a photographer and artist ( she makes beautiful collages!)
Paul Tegenbosch purchased this apartment in 1997
our property is a beautiful family house , built in 1902 with 4 floors, a nice garden and a sunny balcony. The street view is typical Amsterdam with a fountain in the middle and trees around. In 2009 we built a double atelier / studio / apartment in the garden with own entrance in the side street. It is a multi purpose inspiring building in which you can live , work and create. Recently we started to rent the apartment.
Close to the inner centre of Amsterdam and still quiet and save. The area is very family- and child friendly and trendy because of all the facilities like restaurants and shops, but also schools, sports and cultural places and parks. An ideal area to live as a local!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Studio 24. Paul greeted us warmly, and shared great advice for our stay in Amsterdam. Both he and Bonita are kind hosts! The apartment is beautifully decorated, immaculate, comfortable, and located in a quiet neighborhood. We walked to all the sites we hoped to see - about 30-45 min away by foot. Renting bikes would have made sense, but the walk was nice. We loved our stay here, and would definitely come back to this apartment! The perfect spot for our family of 5.
I am so pleased I have picked this beautiful place with my 6 girlfriends. We have been welcomed by Paul and Bonita, both really lovely and, friendly and helpful people. We have been given all sorts of tips, directions, places to visit and even fresh orange juice on both mornings :) it was delicious!
Thank you so much for making our stay so lovely.
From the moment we stepped in, we knew we were somewhere special. The decor was stunning and it felt homely - which is why we had wanted to rent an apartment in the first place. We were greeted by Paul and Bonnita and their wonderful family. They were such gracious hosts and they kick-started every morning with fresh orange juice. They gave us the best information on things to do and see in Amsterdam during our stay. We felt extremely welcome and we would definitely hope to stay there again. We cannot praise our stay enough!
Paul & Bonnita were great hosts and spent time detailing all the areas/sights we were interested in visiting. This was a great help as we were only 4 days in the city. They also decorated the flat as we were celebrating our twins 15th birthday. A wonderful touch and greatly appreciated.
We loved the property which is located in a beautiful area of Amsterdam. Very quiet location and very easy transport links.
Thanks again for a wonderful break.
The apt. is lovely; the hosts are great. It is a bargain for two couples and perfectly accommodating even for 5, which makes it a bargain.
We enjoyed dipping into the busy streets and canals of the downtown area by quick tram rides, but were happy to come home to the calm of Studio 24.
Paul & Bonita have created a beautiful multi-level apt with a lovely patio that could sleep 4-6 comfortably. Exploring this eclectic and artfully decorated place was the start of the fun. The hosts live next door and are available for advice on nearby cafes etc.
We enjoyed the center of town, museums, etc; the tram system gets you anywhere easily. Town was packed for King's Day, and May 4&5 holidays, with the bonus of gorgeous weather. So it was especially nice to come home to our quiet neighborhood at the end of the day.
Homeaway stays add a nice dimension to travelling.
This save, quiet and trendy area Watergraafsmeer has many restaurants, shops, coffee corners and beautiful parks. By bike (rental around the corner) or tram you're in the inner centre of Amsterdam within 10 minutes but also in the 'polder' between the cows and windmills. Visit the famous museums like The Rijksmuseum, The Rembrandt House, the Anne Frank House, Van Gogh Museum. The weekly and monthly vintage markets like Noordermarkt and IJhallen as well as local biological markets are at easy reach.
