We really look forward to welcome you in our spacious, beautiful and comfortable apartment right near the centre of the city. The studio is designed with various vintage finds, seventies design and pieces of art. You can enjoy the secluded, Mediterranean garden in the back. An oasis after the hustle and bussle of the day!
The ground floor of the apartment features a shower, bathroom, kitchenette (including fridge, watercooker and Nespresso machine), large table, a day-bed and a double bed, (which can be made up as two single ones). Ideal if you are with 2 people. The first floor houses another big room with two or three sleeps and there is a very nice, romantic, small, separate extra bedroom with queen size double bed. There is also the second bathroom and shower. You rent the apartment as a whole, ideal to have the both floors if you are with more than 2 people. We can arrange several combinations of beds.
The city centre is within easy reach, 10 minutes by bike or tram. Restaurants - easy going as well as top rated - and breakfast or coffee corners are within walking distance.
We love to show you our beautiful Amsterdam for locals!
Paul is an interior designer and creator ( tables, bookcases, kitchens , garden houses ,etc. ) and Bonnita is a photographer and artist ( she makes beautiful collages!)
Paul Tegenbosch purchased this apartment in 1997
our property is a beautiful family house , built in 1902 with 4 floors, a nice garden and a sunny balcony. The street view is typical Amsterdam with a fountain in the middle and trees around. In 2009 we built a double atelier / studio / apartment in the garden with own entrance in the side street. It is a multi purpose inspiring building in which you can live , work and create. Recently we started to rent the apartment.
Close to the inner centre of Amsterdam and still quiet and save. The area is very family- and child friendly and trendy because of all the facilities like restaurants and shops, but also schools, sports and cultural places and parks. An ideal area to live as a local!!
We arrived to Paul and his wife giving us the warmest welcome, which included lattes and holiday pastries. They provided us with a map, circled the places we wanted to go, gave us other ideas (which were wonderful) of places to visit, then gave us a tour of the apartment. It is very spacious with 3 comfortable bedroom spaces. The floors have radiant heat which is amazing when traveling in January. It is a short ways out of the city by tram. This is really nice to be part of a quieter atmosphere after a full day of sightseeing, shopping and eating. The house has a relaxed, artsy, cozy feeling that we all appreciated. It is set up so two families or couples could travel together and still feel they had privacy and downtime separately. Paul provided us with fresh squeezed orange juice in the mornings. YUM! I would highly recommend this apartment.
Meeted and greeted by Paul's son Kees, very friendly and gave some excellent advice about the local area and Amsterdam as a whole. The property was in a great location easy to get to all attractions within 10 minutes. I believe Paul's wife has a keen interest in interior design and you can tell! The property is done up immaculately, very spacious and everything you need. WIne and beer was left in the fridge which was a very nice gesture. All in all an excellent property in an amazing city, thoroughly recommended. Thank you
We were a group of 6 staying within Studio 24
We had a fantastic stay at the apartment, Paul and his family were very welcoming upon arrival and made our visit very comfortable. I am regular traveler to Holland and I will be sure to recommend this studio for your stay. Very clean and spacious with some lovely quirky features throughout. Thank you also for all your recommendations Paul!!!! We had a great stay over the long weekend and we will definitely be looking at a return trip staying at this lovely apartment :)
If this is your first visit to the City, I highly recommend this area ! Very local feel to the place with the City Centre in close proximity.
Big Thank you to Paul and his family
The property was clean and cozy. Paul gave us great recommendations and fresh squeezed orange juice each morning.
Beautifully presented, clean and comfortable. Paul was so welcoming and we really enjoyed our stay here.
We really enjoyed our stay in a very inspiring area to live. The land lord is very friendly and just left us to it, while offering freshly squeezed orange juice when we open the curtains. Would definitely stay again.
