ABOUT THE PROPERTY
'Beach Fever' Condo provides you with all the comforts of your home while treating your symptoms of worry-free relaxation: catching the rays at the beach, chilling at our pool(s), or napping at the condo during your 'beach fever'.
We believe that the hurried pace you are accustomed to should be rewarded with a place to retreat for optimum peace. Here, you'll find many places to slow down. The day is all yours.
Check the calendar below and make plans to run to Panama City Beaches in Florida's Panhandle for a couple of days or week(s). You'll be refreshed, renewed, rejuvenated and ready to return to your regularly scheduled activities. People LOVE the beds here - some have said it's the best sleep they've had in years. We also have upgraded several pieces of furnishings to include: flat screen TV’s, coffee and end tables, paintings, linens, towels, and mattresses.
To help with planning – Condo and Bedroom layouts are: 'Beach Fever' is perfectly designed for 4 adults and 3 children.
Main Bedroom: Two (2) Queen Beds with a large walk-in closet to put away your suitcases. This bedroom has a vanity sink / mirror and it attaches to the Half-Bath -2 having a shower and toilet. It also adjoins the hallway. Bedroom offers a TV too.
Hallway Bunks: Two (2) Single Bed Bunks offer enough space for large children or young adults. The hallway attaches to the Half-Bath -1 and also the Main Bedroom.
Half-Bath -1: Attached to the hallway provides a large area to prep for the day with a sink and large counter top and toilet. This Half-Bath -1 adjoins Half-Bath -2.
Half-Bath -2: Adjoins Half-Bath-1 and Main Bedroom providing a full size shower and toilet.
Laundry Area – The stacked washer and dryer are located in the hallway between the Hallway Bunks and Half-Bath -1. They provide enough space to allow you to wash items during your stay or all items before you depart home.
Family Room Bed: Queen Sofa Sleeper has a brand new hotel quality mattress. Although we do not keep this bed ‘made’ linen is available in the linen closet. The size of the mattress if 5’ x 6’ in case you were wondering, I was until I looked it up.
Family Room: In addition to the Sleeper Sofa which provides seating for 3 we also have an additional seating chair. This room also provides a large flat screen TV with cable for your view pleasure. A Glass-top breakfast table is also in this area providing seating for 4 additional people. The Kitchen Bar has 4 stools available for additional seating.
Kitchen Area: The Kitchen begins with an 8 foot bar that has 4 bar stools. The bar stools keeps you fixed in the Living Room conversation or a separate Kitchen conversation. The Kitchen is also equipped with all the cooking utensils that would be needed to prepare a meal for 8 people. Major items include a coffee maker, stove, and refrigerator.
Balcony Area: This area provides seating for two (2) overlooking the property to the East.
Location: ‘Beach Fever’ Condo Property is situated on the south side of the property between the club house and the most southern pool. ‘Beach Fever’ is located on the second story, southern side of the condo complex, which is “GREAT” because you have almost 8 parking spaces available for use. It almost feels like your own private parking area. We have in-ground grills for your convenience too.
Notes: I am completely digital. On most days you will hear back from me within minutes. I'm available until about 9 pm central via phone if needed. NO ADDITIONAL GUEST FEE! 100% Payment due. Split payments on case-by-case basis. Minimum age 25 - photo ID requested as needed. I reserve the right to book with/without cause. Nightly Rate does not include cleaning of $85.00 or 12% Tax.

‘Beach Fever’ Condo is one of many properties located in the Horizon South Properties which has three (3) phases. 'Beach Fever' is located on the south side of the property allowing for one of the quickest walks to the beach. All three (3) phases have access to all the large recreation areas where you may play horseshoes, basketball, tennis, shuffleboard, miniature golf and game room. There is a jacuzzi spa, four (4) large pools, a baby pool and two (2) game pavilions. There is a clubhouse space that may also be rented for a separate fee for large family, church, or sport gatherings. That must be coordinated directly with Horizon South Property.
Horizon South is conveniently located ¾ West of Florida Highway 79 on Back Beach Road (Highway 98/30a), literally the second turn on the left from Highway 79. The resort provides gated entrance and exit on the North and South side for easy access to Front Beach (Highway 90) and Back Beach Road (Highway 98/30a).
There's so much to do here. Explore and picnic on beach, photograph nature, or pitch horseshoes with your family and friends. Famous beach activities surround you in every direction. Nearby, you will find fishing, hiking, horseback riding, golfing, boating, wildlife viewing, theater, and a million and one other things. There's no end to the opportunities that await you, although we believe that the best thing to do at Beach Fever is NOTHING at all.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
Send me an email with you requested dates and I will email you back an online quote. Once payment has been received, I will send you a Welcome Packet and Rental Agreement.
Then my goal is to provide your Travel Itinerary and Driving Directions to you and your traveling guests 2-3 days prior to arrival. So expect an email from us again after your initial booking. In the event you will be departing and will not have email access, then we can make special arrangements to ensure you arrive to 'Beach Fever' with no hiccups.
In the Travel Itinerary, you will have driving directions from the major avenues of arrival. Also you will receive the key code to the lockbox allowing you access a key to the front door.

Disclaimer: I speak to MANY people who I email several times back and forth answering questions ensuring that the property is the right fit for the guest and right for me as the owner. Of course I try to be fair as I can, which is first come first serve to include payment.
You, just like several other potential guests, are searching online for your vacation destination that is perfect for you. On ‘MANY’ occasions I am quoting 2-3 potential guest at the SAME Time for the SAME Dates as your request. I typically will not disclose that information to you because I don't want to come off as pushy. Plus, I feel like many owner/management companies may say this to force you to book quickly.
So if you feel that the property is right for you, select ‘BOOK IT’ on the top right of the screen and I will ACCEPT RESERVATION. Or after we have worked out the details of dates and price through the ‘QUOTE’ and you decide my unit is “the one” you cannot live without, I suggest you select the ‘REQUEST BOOKING’. This lets me know that you are ready to purchase. I then can send you a ‘BOOK IT’ request. I will never book your reservation out from under you on purpose. I try to avoid any miscommunication issues, but sometimes they occur. To avoid this - I recommend You Say “I WANT THIS UNIT” and I will send you an invoice with a time limit for the awaiting payment. If someone else also wants the unit and is ready to pay I will call/email YOU allowing YOU “first right of refusal” also with a time limit (real short).

The easy stroll between the cabins makes Country Ridge a perfect location for large and extended families, weddings, senior staff members, executives, and church leaders looking for a special place to get together.

Horizon South Resort is the perfect property. I want to point out that the property is gated with access on front beach and back beach roads. Families, to include ours, love this feature because you can let your children walk around with the worries of the larger and busier resorts. The property offers tons of activities directly on the resort: a gym, shuffle board, mini-golf, basketball and tennis courts, 4 separate pools with one heated, and a hot tub. Our family travels for softball events, so we have rented from Horizon South several times in the past. The property was a perfect fit because it is family-friendly and safe, plus a very short drive from our hustle and bustle daily routine of the place we call home.
Horizon South offers you the family fun atmosphere with a gated community with the beach only a 3-minute walk away (walking with a 5 year old). Tons of shopping and restaurants within 3-5 min drive. When you're done being a tourist, you can come and relax in our spacious living area.

Good location, short walk to the beach. Pools on property were very nice.
Our stay at Beach Fever was our best family time in a long time!! We have had other experiences at resorts where the internet photos did not match the reality. The condo was very clean and well equipped for all our needs. Renting from a family made our family just feel like being home but in a fantastic location. The owner was completely helpful and very easy to work with. We felt very secure in this family location. It was incredibly quiet to be near the center of so many activities. We enjoyed the short walks to the beach, pools, great restaurants nearby, golf, water-sports etc. I hope your vacation here is as great as ours was. We look forward to returning every year for a long time. Be blessed.
Enjoyed our stay, we usually stay at lake town wharf so the walk to the beach was not a big deal to us. I however wasn't crazy about the layout of the bathrooms, but we made it work. The fold out couch mattress on one side has a huge stain, and the rug covering up the tiles to the kitchen was rather obvious. The beds were very comfy though, and we loved the balcony seating area. The decorations were very nice from the curtains, pictures and to the wall paint, also Loved the washer and dryer. Thanks for letting us stay in your condo, it was a very easy transaction all the way through, God bless!
We stayed at Beach Fever for three months. It truly became our home. Even our dog settled in very comfortably. My wife loved the cooking area in the kitchen. The beds were extremely comfortable, making for a good night's sleep. The unit was very easy to keep clean. Being able to open the windows saved on running the air conditioning, when needed. January was chilly to cold, and being able to turn on the heat, helped. Although, we didn't have to have it on very long. We made friends with our neighbors, as everybody was very friendly. The location was very convenient for shopping, dining out. Very easy access to get to the resort. Beach access was a plus, as it got warmer, we were there every day. Overall, some staff was friendly, and helpful. Resort facilities were great. Pools were refreshing. Used the fitness room, regularly. Jason was very accommodating as the owner. As he responded very quickly to any questions, and problems. Had a toilet leak that he took care of promptly.
Probably the only negative was that the cooking pots and pans need upgrading. We had to buy some to cook in. We would definitely have liked to stay here again, but the probable selling of the unit prompted us to look elsewhere for next winter.
My stay at Beach Fever was the best. The location was perfect, the condo was incredible and the beach was literally a 2 minute walk. My family and I had an amazing time!!!! I would recommend this property over and over and over again!
