Located across the street from the Gulf and in the heart of Miramar Beach, Leeward Key is a luxury high-rise resort with private beach access, an over-sized sundeck, and two large pools. These well- appointed units offer high speed internet, high-capacity washers and dryers and private balconies with captivating views.
401 Leeward Key is a bright and cheery unit, offering guests a view of the beach and water. The well designed kitchen provides guests with a large Whirlpool refrigerator, bar seating for four, and plenty of counter and cabinet space. The formal dining table provides additional seating for six. The airy and sunny king suite welcomes guests with a peaceful view of the beach and water, as well as a private bathroom, featuring a combined Jacuzzi Tub and shower. An additional queen bedroom shares a full bathroom with the living and common areas.
The main living area has a 55in TV and spacious balcony with a gulf view. The second king bedroom is larger than average, provides a private balcony and a full bathroom with a Jacuzzi Tub and shower combination. The third bedroom houses two double beds and shares the bathroom with the second king.
Leeward Key is a great vacation option for guests looking to be close to the beach as well as some of the area's best attractions, restaurants, and shopping.

This condo is perfect for a small family and easy getaway. The location is great - really close to the beach. I came here with my family and it was an easy 5-ish minute walk to the beach (probably faster without small children). The pool was very nice too and you can see the beach from the pool.
The home was very clean and all the amenities were provided that we needed for the week (towels, soap, dishes, etc.). The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were spacious. We'll definitely consider staying here again. I'd recommend this condo to anyone looking for a clean condo with a convenient location that is close to the beach, places to eat, and activities.
We have stayed in different units at Leeward Key for many years. It's a great location and has easy access to the beach. However, this unit needs some attention to bring it up to par with some others we have enjoyed. It seems that while it has been updated in style, its care and maintenance have been neglected. Although we were told the unit had been cleaned before we arrived, it was not clean at all. Bathrooms were dirty, toilets not clean and mirrors and chrome spattered with who knows what, shower curtains were molded, carpet was dirty, and sand from the previous tenants was still on the floors. Food garbage had been left on the deck, as well (cupcake papers, etc.). We called and asked that it be at least partially re-cleaned and Five-Star was very good about sending a cleaning team out and removing the cleaning fee from our rent. My daughter and son-in-law had brought their newborn with them on this trip, and we were particularly sensitive to things such as dirty carpets (couldn't carpets be cleaned mid-season?). Other little things were broken or not in good working order--the only can opener was broken, the coffee pot had no lid, the sink in the second king bath drained very slow, the door stop to the front door was broken, and one of the cycles on the washing machine was non-functional and a "don't use this cycle" sign was taped to the washing machine. The internet was extremely slow, making it virtually impossible to stream any sort of movie at family relax times. The AC also had some sort of a governor on it to prevent you from lowering it below 70. In the heat we experienced at the beach that week, there were times that 70 was not cool enough. Since this unit is fairly low in the building, the view isn't particularly good, but I was prepared for that. I chose it because it was the only 4 bedroom unit available that week and it looked nice in the pics. But its condition was disappointing. It could be a great unit, but in its current condition, it isn't right now. As a final note, in previous years, we've always had the usage of two chairs and an umbrella on the beach during our stay. The guys at the beach service told us the owners of our unit had chosen not to participate in the program this year and it would cost us $35 a day to rent them. Frankly, for what it costs to rent the unit for a week, you should include that as an amenity with your unit. I wouldn't recommend unit 401 without some of the above problems being addressed.
My family has been traveling to the beach for over 40 years. This is the first time we have decided to go in the winter. Took 3 other couples in February and stayed at 401 Leeward Key. It was great. Even though the weather was very cold for us outside( wind chill 29) the fun and laughter provided plenty of warmth inside. The units 4 bedrooms made it perfect for each couple to have their own bedroom and privacy. Board games and total relaxation were the order of the day and everyone had a great time. Bliss Rentals was a perfect fit for us and were extremely helpful and friendly. Looking forward to doing this again soon and will certainly return to Bliss for assistance. Bill
The balcony with a view of the Gulf was a reason to come back in itself; SO BEAUTIFUL! Location was great for shopping and entertainment! We have been coming to Destin for vacations for the past five years and plan to come back for many more!
My family and I have been visiting Destin, Florida for the past 20 odd years. One thing we have learned over the years is when it comes to Destin, location is everything.
Leeward Key is located in the heart of Miramar Beach in Destin, Florida. The beaches are right across the street, Pompano Joes and the CrabTrap are minutes away, and shopping and golf is abundant in the area.
The unit is comfortable and clean. The listing description was accurate and the photos represent the property well. Everything was clean and well-maintained. Bliss Beach Rentals was a pleasure to do business with. Highly recommend!
