About Michelle Lewis & Marco Bianchi

Since we moved to Phoenix in 2006, San Diego has been one of our favorite places to vacation. We both grew up not far from my beach (my husband is from Tuscany, Italy and I am from New York City) and the beach is one thing that Phoenix lacks! Purchasing a home in San Diego has been on our list for several years and we are so excited that we found this amazing place to enjoy and share with others!

Michelle Lewis & Marco Bianchi purchased this bungalow in 2013

Why Michelle Lewis & Marco Bianchi chose Pacific Beach

We've stayed in many homes in the Pacific Beach area and we love it here. PB has a great relaxed beach vibe and is wonderful for families. We wanted a place that we could run home from the beach easily if we forgot something (with 2 kids that happens a lot!), and that would allow us to enjoy the great San Diego weather without even leaving our home. This place really does have everything we could ever hope for in a beach home.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Everything was ok!

Thanks a lot!

Average Little Bungalow

  • 3 of 5

We rented this bungalow on short notice so choices were limited. The pluses to this rental are that it is very clean, has a garage (but you need a ground guide to enter it is so narrow), is two blocks from the beach and within walking distance to plenty of restaurants, bars and groceries. It is also very quiet at night. The owners have obviously updated the kitchen and you'll have pretty much any utensil you'd want. However, there is no dishwasher so all dishes must be hand washed.

The downside to the rental is that it is squeezed tight between the properties on either side and one of them real trash bin with empty beer cans and bottles in the side yard. Granted, this is not the owner's fault, this is only a heads up that the outside appearance may not be quite as it is in the picture. The bed in the master is really low to the ground and the pillows in both bedrooms need to be changed out as they are flat as pancakes. The other issue for me is that you are "forced" to pay for an insurance policy for damages or fork out a security deposit that is three times what most other rentals of this quality require. So of course I paid for a non-refundable insurance policy from CSA who promptly charged my card twice. Thankfully my bank is handling the duplicate charge.

All in all, it is an just average rental.

Cozy well-maintained property near the beach

  • 4 of 5

Great property!! We had everything we needed in this clean and cozy property. The kitchen is very well equipped, the bathroom and the other rooms were very clean. The yard is quite large. It's only a short walk to the beach, restaurants and bars. The only issue we had was the cable box for the TV, it worked only after numerous attempts. But we highly recommend this property and would stay there again!

Big Bang for your Buck!

  • 5 of 5

The hubs & I traveled from NorCal to SD for a week of R&R before our college students headed back to the grind. This little gem of a beach cottage had everything we needed for the last summer blow-out. The house is in good condition and was clean upon arrival, beds were comfy as well. Our little beagle enjoyed the spacious backyard & the daily walks to the beach which is just steps from the front door! We brought 2 beach cruisers of our own so everyone could ride bikes down the beach walk. Our adult children loved the nightlife close by & daytime beach activities. The house was well equipped with plenty of kitchen gadgets - nice panini maker & waffle iron. We originally thought the lack of a dishwasher & single bathroom was going to be an issue, but since we were out most of the day it was never a problem. One big surprise - the neighborhood was nice & quiet at night - we all slept like logs. College age kids on the west side - we thought for sure were going to be rowdy but they were super cool. Great place - Marco was awesome & responded timely to a couple of inquiries. Will definitely recommend!

Super clean and close to everything!

  • 5 of 5

We have been traveling to the Pacific Beach/Mission Beach area for years. This little house is by far one of the best we have stayed in. The house itself is well maintained and very clean. The kitchen is well equipped with pots and pans, toaster and coffee pot. The yard is fenced and very large, our lab totally loved it. The garage is a tight fit though if you have a large SUV, but well worth the private parking.

The location couldn't be better either. The house is a block away from the beach which makes it easy and accessible for going back and forth. The neighborhood is quiet and laid back which made it great for early morning walks. There are coffee shops, and a small corner market just east of the house. There are a ton of restaurants close by and both Ralph's and Sprouts are within an easy bike ride or walk. Tuesday evenings there is a little farmers market with fresh fruits and veggies and food vendors just south of the house.

This location is on our list of places to rebook next year!

Very cute property, clean and convenient

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for a wedding and had a wonderful time. This house is so convenient to all the places we had to be (downtown, La Jolla). The house is precious and very beachy. We walked to the beach and enjoyed breakfast nearby. Loved having the added convenience of the garage and the beach stuff in the storage closet (umbrella, chairs, etc.). The only issue we had was we had to buy toilet paper and there were no wash cloths, but this was not a big issue at all.

CHoose this place, you'll be glad you did

  • 5 of 5

The little blue house is comfortable, clean and 2 blocks from the beach! It's an easy walk to restaurants and bars and close to most of the attractions San Diego has to offer. Michelle and Marco were good communicators and responded to questions quickly. The only negative thing I have to say is the TV didn't work (cable box). This was an inconvenience to be sure but we were there for TV anyway. I'd highly recommend the place and would gladly stay there again!

thank you Michelle and Marco
