This south facing house is bright and sunny. The house rebuilt in the 1990s, with excellent quality and modern amenities, it has three floors of accommodations, with wide staircases, and a large roof top terrace with a pergola.
House has four bedrooms each with its own, in suite, bathroom and plenty of closet space. You have ocean views from the master bedroom as well as from the big dining/living/lounge room. You can enjoy Altea's restaurants, bars and shops which are steps from the house, or take a 10 minute walk to the waterfront, with more restaurants and shops, or you can take a car or train and investigate all the quaint and historic towns in the Costa Blanca
Two weeks minimum rental
Super house with all mod cons and a fabulous roof terrace with panoramic views. Only a few yards from Altea Old Town with more bars and excellent restaurants than you can visit in one holiday. I would recommend the house and we will return in the future. It is a 15 minute walk to the sea front but please be aware it is more of a challenge going back up the hill.
Upon arrival, we were met with a lovely lady, who showed us everything, from parking to wifi access. The house is better than the pictures show, very confortable and in working order, you can walk all over, the restaurants are excellent, the stores are very cute. We were two couples with 4 children (ages 11-17). The children were happy to walk all over and to go down to the beach and sample some of the restaurants. Stayed over the New Year's week and had a great New Year's meal at the terrace, overlooking the Mediterranean. After we went to the plaza and mingle with locals and tourist as well. The temperature was very pleasant our whole stay, 60s during the day and 50s at night. We will try to come back to this house again and investigate the surrounding areas, it was a totally positive experience for all of us, we definetely recommend this property to our friends and family.
Altea is a beautiful Spanish town, on the Mediterranean Sea, surrounded by stunning Costa Blanca mountains, and has some of the best restaurants and shops in the province. Approximately 45 minutes north of Alicante and 90 minutes south of Valencia. Officially known as 'The Cultural Capital of the Valencia Region'. Close is the medieval fortress of Guadalest and the Algar Falls, that can be reached by car or bus from Benidorm. Benidorm is very close by car, train or bus, also the theme park, Terra Mittica, Aqualandia (water park) and Mundomar (tropical marine park).
There are 8 excellent golf courses in a radius of half hour from town and many more an hour radius away. The Don Cayo course, in Altea (15 minutes away) is a 9 hole course with spectacular views.
