Historic Arbor Landing was built in 1885 and used as a wine cellar for several years by a local vineyard. Since then, it has been remodeled and updated to create a nostalgic, relaxing atmosphere for vacationers.
A small open staircase leads from the parking area into a beautiful cedar sun porch, offering exceptional views of Canandaigua Lake through the floor to ceiling glass windows. A French door leads out onto the deck over the garage. Here you can enjoy an outdoor meal overlooking the lake or even some sun bathing!
The foyer leads into a beautifully furnished living room, with elegant leather furniture, wood pellet fireplace, and a large flat screen cable TV and DVD player. To the right of the entry is a spacious, open sitting room overlooking the water. It is comfortably furnished for afternoon reading or lounging. A large dining room is located just to the left of the sitting room and has an elegant country style dining set with seating for 10. Walk straight through to the well equipped kitchen, with stainless steel appliances and high quality cabinetry. A breakfast room off the kitchen overlooks the lake and has a table with seating for 6. Located in the rear is a spacious bedroom with queen bed and skylight, and a full bathroom with shower/tub combo off the hall.
Upstairs you will find three additional bedrooms, two of which have two single beds. One of the bedrooms has a queen size bed and a lake view, and all are stylishly decorated. Another full bathroom with shower/tub combo is located at the top of the stairs.
The waterfront is just across the access road, and features a level lawn, covered gazebo with patio furniture, 10 feet of natural entry for children to play, dock, and boat hoist.
A state boat launch and marina are only a few miles away, so feel free to bring your boat. Conveniently located to Naples, downtown Canandaigua, and Bristol Mountain Ski Resort.
