Second Season: 1860’s flat in Boothbay Harbor where local hat makers once lived graciously above their shop. Newly renovated 2nd floor of 3 story building with private entrance. 850 sq feet of interior living space with high ceilings and large light filled windows that will remind you of a time and pace long lost. Private ~100 sq foot deck. Shabby chic style with mix of antiques and new furniture. Bedroom with cherry pencil post queen bed. LED Samsung 'Smart' TV in living room (Broadcast, Netflix (Supplied) & access for your accounts to Amazon, Hulu and others). Eat in kitchen with basic stove and 1941 Refrigerator (works great!). Renovated large bath with tub and shower. Parking (1 space) on premises and easy walking to boats (day trips including Monhegan), restaurants, trolleys, shops, Opera House and all that Boothbay Harbor has to offer. Solid, quiet building. Ideal for relaxation and day trips returning to town for cocktails and dinner. Perfect for fireworks (when offered by town) . For those who appreciate tradition. Free Wifi, heat, AC, bedding, and access to laundry room. Sleeps 2. Can be rented in same building with Penthouse "Aerie" (500095) for traveling with friends!

Nous avons passé 2 belles semaines l’appartement etait tres agreeable, eclairé pres de toutes les activites aux quelles nous avons participeés. Ici il y a beaucoup de sorties pouvons faire; croisiere, bateau, voilier, peche. De plus nous avons apprecie les visites des maisons historiques aux alentours et cela dans un rayon d’une heure & moins de route. Nous garderont un tres beau souvenir de l’endroit.

You too, could be "sitting on the dock of the bay"

this is our second stay at 29 McKown st. So needless to say we do enjoy it. The location is great, everything is within walking distance and , Tom and his sidekick, Ruthie, are great host and "hostess". tom is always willing to suggest something fun or a great place to eat after a long day. if you are thinking of staying in Boothbay, this is a great place to be!

Great location, right in the center of town, lots to do within walking distance. Comfortable rooms, and a wonderful deck with a view of the harbor, perfect for a drink or a book.

And best of all,, a friendly, helpful host, always available but always discreet.

Eclectic In the middle of everything, clean and comfortable

I walked, I ate, I sailed, I napped, I shopped, I listened to concerts and saw the fireworks from the balcony. I loved my visit to 29 McKown Street in Boothbay Harbor. Tom and Ruthie (his Westie) were wonderful hosts. It was a perfect "I" vacation. The apartment was clean and close to everything. I hope I can get back soon. Gail from Florida July 2017

Would recommend for any couple to stay and enjoy Boothbay Harbor area. Less than two blocks walk to the boats to go out in the harbor whale watch, seals, lighthouses hauling up Lobster cages. The botanical gardens the aquarium Lobster Co-op lobster for $7 a pound can't beat it. The Farmers Market on Thursday just outside of Boothbay within a couple miles farmers market, it's very nice fresh produce, sausage, cheese,homemade breads I would like to go back for that. Can't list everything you have to go and check it out yourself two thumbs up

This piece of property is sweet!

My husband and I rented the 2nd story apartment. It was so sweet! Very clean

and well-maintained. You have everything you need: A nice-sized living room,

kitchen and dining for 2, one bedroom and a full bath. You can see the harbor from the deck.

Net-flix is a luxury for us and we enjoyed it on one of our days there. You can walk to everything.

This was a first for us and it was sweet not to have to jump in the car, at a whim!

We went to a couple of the restaurants for breakfast (blueberry pancakes:) and dinner

(seafood). Caught lunch while we were traveling nearby...The bed was so comfortable

and I was wondering what we were sleeping on. So, when I stripped the bed at the end of our stay:(,

I saw the secret! Now the cat/dog is out of the bag! What's the secret???

Well, you'll just have to rent this little gem and find out for yourself:)!

Tom is so nice. He brought us some English Muffins and cookies. Ruthie

(the Westie) is so sweet too. Yes, I would definitely recommend this to my friends/relatives.
