Panorama di Roma is a cosy, design apartment with two large terraces with a unique view of Rome, the eternal city, and intriguing paintings from young international artists.
The house has two bedrooms, one large double and one single/twin. The rooms are equipped with large design wardrobes and dressers and a safe.
The bathroom is very comfortable and with all the comforts.
The living room is stylish with a nice fireplace framed in a stone wall with a satellite tv. The large sofa and the puff can also be turned into a double and single beds.
Panorama di Roma also features a made-to-measure kitchen, with large windows on the main terrace and a beautiful view of Rome. It is a fully equipped kitchen, with a six-burner cooktop and electric oven, big fridge-freezer, microwave oven, coffee machine, dishwasher and washing machine.
The house is air-conditioned and located in an area full of shops and small restaurants. Nearby there is also a pharmacy and one of the main hospitals of the city.
The close subway connects Panorama di Roma to downtown in 20 minutes.
I'm an enthusiastic man with four kids and a fantastic wife. I was born on Lake Como, studied partly in the United States and partly in Italy, and graduated in Physics. I love hosting people because other cultures enrich my family more and more. We really enjoy meeting other people.
Giuseppe Bonacina purchased this apartment in 2013
It is a newly renovated cosy and stylish penthouse, with a unique view. It is right on top of our house, so we can help our customers out with all their questions and needs.
Unique view, large terraces, newly renovated, stylish, functional, modern. Romantic at night.
The apartment was just as it was described. Everything was clean and we found all we needed to make breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The view of St. Peter's and the Vatican was great, and it was nice to enjoy over a glass of wine on the terrace. Our only complaint was that it took slightly longer than we expected to get into Rome, or more accurately, to get back to the apartment after a day in the city. The trains aren't always consistent so we sometimes had to wait 20 minutes, before then taking a 20 minute ride back to the apartment. Overall a minor annoyance. Giuseppe and his wife were great, and even brought up a spare converter when I needed one for my laptop. Our trip was part-business and part-pleasure, so we wound up spending a few hours a day working from the kitchen. It was the perfect spot.
We rented this beautiful apartment for our annual family vacation. There are 7 of us and we were all very comfortable. The apartment is very clean and has everything we could have possibly needed for our stay. We felt very much at home and everybody LOVED the apartment. It is was very convenient to everything we wanted to see and do in Rome!
The owner met us at the agreed upon time, took us up to the apartment and gave us a thorough welcome and even helped us with instructions on how to use the public transportation system in Rome.
We will stay there again the next time we are in Rome.
We are a family of 4 with a young child.
The directions given to get to the apartment were perfect. The apartment was well kept and just a short train journey away from the centre.
Guiseppe the owner was in the apartment below and was most helpful.
We needed to stay longer than our 3 nights to fully benefit Rome as there is just so much to see. We would hope to return in the future!
Great experience! The apt is clean, bright and has a wonderful panoramic view of Rome with Saint Peter Church in the skyline. The terrace allow to have dinner surrounded by such panorama!
The rooms are big, as shown in the pictures. The kitchen is fully furnished. The host is awesome, very kind and respectful. We met him at both checkin and checkout.
I suggest staying there to families and groups of friends.
Beautiful place, super comfortable. For those into that kind of thing -- like us -- it is just far enough away from the tourist-clogged neighbourhoods to encourage you to speak Italian yet still close enough to the centre to enjoy the city. Travelling, after all -- to us -- is not only about seeing sites (sights?) but about learning other languages, about listening to others, an experience we love, an experience that we find truly enriching. Still, the best part was the people. Guiseppe and Francesca are fine, fine people. It was a privilege for us to meet them, to get to know them a bit. The only problem? (And it is minor.) The water system could use a bit more pressure, the shower, for instance; it is a bit weak. But thank you, Guiseppe and Francesca. Thank you for a wonderful experience. And for your kindness to us. And thank you, VRBO, for being such an excellent organization.
