4 BDR, 2 BA Lakefront Home Near Wax Marina & Mammoth Cave Nat'l Park.

Spacious, privately owned, lake home sitting on 3 wooded lots in a private lakefront community on Nolin Lake.

This clean & comfortable home offers an open floor plan living room, dining and kitchen areas for group entertaining. Living Room has large screen tv and DVD player. Cable and Wifi provided.

The four large bedrooms have queen beds and can sleep 12 - 8 privately (fee charged for over 10). The two full bathrooms are both equipped with shower and tub. The 4th bedroom is a large suite located away from the other bedrooms in the main house. This room has two queen beds. Guests with children or sharing the house with a large group may prefer the additional privacy of this room. A Pack & Play is available for infant/toddler as well as a high chair.

Modern, fully equipped kitchen contains everything needed for your cooking and dining pleasure: glass-top range, built-in microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator. Small appliances include: coffee maker, griddle, mixer, blender, crockpots as well as ample cooking/bakeware and table service. The dining area will accommodate 6 at table, 3 at breakfast bar, and room for 4 more at the game table. The large 20X20 screened porch has a table for 6 and ample seating for a large group. The open deck also has two tables and ample seating.

Relax on the covered front porch or swing in the shade provided by the overhead tree canopy. The large side yard provides space for wiffle ball, volleyball, or softball games. Enjoy the lake views from the comfort of the 20 x 20 screened porch or 20 X 30 open deck. In the evening, gather around the fire ring and roast hot dogs and marshmallows.

For smaller children, swimming is available at two nearby state park locations that have nice beach areas in protected coves. Boat rental is available at Wax Marina during summer boating season. Fishing is available from several shoreline locations on site, near the marina shelter area or at nearby state park.

The numerous tourist attractions listed below are located approximately 30 minutes drive. Mammoth Cave National Park north entrance is only 21 miles away with a bonus wow factor of getting to ride the Green River Ferry (free!!!) to reach the visitor center.

Our family really enjoyed the stay. Cathy was very easy to work with and quickly responded to any questions we had. Their home is beautiful and well equiped, neighbors were great, and the location was perfect if you're looking to get away in a nice quiet country/lake setting.

Great time!

I had friends come stay with me from Ohio, Kentucky, Michigan, and Missouri. We lucked out with very warm weather in November and everyone commented on how perfect the place was. The screened in patio was my absolute favorite spot in the cabin and I was sad to leave it. Thank you so much for the perfect birthday weekend!

Great for a family trip; furniture could use some maintenance

The house is in a beautiful location, and we loved the screened patio room and the fire pit. Some of the furniture has seen better days: the couch arm and the recliner were broken, and the patio sectional has some saggy parts. Kitchen is well-equipped. We could have used instructions for the TV and accessing the kayaks. Carolyn and Denny are just the right amount of helpful and friendly. And good news: the county is no longer dry! Overall this was a fine spot to celebrate my parents' 40th anniversary with a family trip.
