My name is Michelle Perreault. I am a licensed Realtor in beautiful BC, Canada. I fell in love with Arizona on my 1st Christmas holiday to Arizona and decided to purchase a vacation home when needing to escape year round to 365 of sunshine.
Michelle Perreault purchased this house in 2012
The main attraction was the beautiful landscaping, gorgeous pool and built in bbq. The home is located in a quiet cul-de-sac backing ontp park so it is very private. It is close to all major sporting venues, golf courses and shopping but most of the time i enjoy lounging in the resort like back yard.
We really enjoyed our stay. It's a beautiful place in a great location in Buckeye. The backyard is gorgeous and would be great for family on an extended stay. My only complaint was the pillows in the bathroom probably need replaced...very minor issue. Will stay again someday.
This well-appointed home advise I heartily . The home is nice, has a very nice garden and swimming pool was much needed in the heat of July / August . It was a mistake on AC as owner got repaired quickly. We were all in all very well raised , and will gladly return .
This cozy home is located in Buckeye, AZ off Miller Rd. We recently stayed here due to it being so close to my brother's home and we were attending a high school graduation for my nephew. So it worked out perfectly for that reason.
The house is nice, clean and very accommodating. Please note you will need to take your own blow dryer but this house has everything you will need from an iron, ironing board, kitchen essentials, etc. And the house only has basic cable and not very many channels to choose from, so I would suggest bringing/renting some DVD movies. It does have a Wii with various games for the kids to play so that was a plus!
What felt flat for us was the backyard, the pool was great however keep in mind it will completely cover in shade by 4pm and it is not heated. Perfect for the desert heat! Also, Buckeye attracts a lot of flies so be warned when eating or hanging outside. The candles for insects did not help but noticed if you were laying out by the pool or swimming they did not bother you. Also, upon our arrival the yard was not kept up due to either no upkeep or previous renters. Hubby had to be the 'maintenance man' and cleaned the yard due to trash, misters not being hooked up (so he did so), and had to hose down the yard. We wanted to lounge and relax but once that was done we were able to do so. But who wants to do all of that on a vacation?! Also the previous renters did not take the trash can out to the curb for pick up so we could not dump our trash out there due to it being full. Common courtesy people!!!! We went ahead and took it out because we knew it was an inconvenience having to go elsewhere to dump our trash out during our stay.
All in all besides the above mentioned mishaps it was a lovely clean home and a wonderful family trip!
Wish we had been able to stay longer. Clean, private, quiet and comfortable with more than enough space inside, though we spent most of our time in the beautiful backyard. It had a built-in propane BBQ, a large table with propane fire pit in the center, lush vegetation and a beautiful pool with water feature. (There's even an inflatable hot tub on the covered terrace though we didn't use it.) The pool is not heated so was still quite cool in March but we still enjoyed an afternoon of floating around on inflatable chairs found in the garage. We were worried it was too far away from Spring Training Parks but it turned out to be an easy all-freeway drive to Peoria Sports Complex and other parks. Close to Walgreens and just a few miles away from a large supermarket (Fry's). Would definitely stay there again if we are in the area.
House was wonderful, and very clean. Great value and golf and baseball within 20 minutes perfect for us.
My husband and I spent 17 days at this property March /15. We had a great stay, we spent a lot of time by the pool. Pool little cool for swimming, but great. The back
Yard had a BarQ area and lots of seating areas. The house was clean with lots of supplies, everything is just like the pictures. Michelle was very considered checking with us a few times to see if we needed anything. We had notice of our refund within the week
