When you first arrive and walk into this two bedroom, two bath beach bungalow, you will be pleased to see the open, bright and airy floor plan with beautifully diamond polished terrazzo floors and a new kitchen with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. The home has an attached one car garage and the landscaped and fenced in backyard that is professionally maintained which makes the perfect place to have a cookout or your morning coffee.
Our home has a queen bed in each bedroom and a trundle bed with two twin mattresses which is located in a semi-private dayroom. Our home is equipped with everything you should need from salt & pepper shakers to beach towels and everything in between, including Beach Mist Sea Kelp Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Lotion and Soap!
Perfectly located in beautiful Daytona Beach Shores, where you can easily walk one block to the 'worlds most famous beach' to watch the sun rise, stroll on the sand or enjoy a play in the surf. The home is conveniently located to everything Daytona Beach has to offer without the noise or crowds but is still minutes from the boardwalk and water park, Main Street, which is famous for Bike Week and Biketoberfest and the NASCAR International Speedway.
There are several restaurants located nearby, some of which you can walk to, along with two nearby grocery stores and pharmacies and a convenience store and gas station.

We are both native Floridians, George was born in Daytona Beach and I moved here in 1972. We have chosen to live in the Daytona Beach Shores area and our home is located nearby this vacation home.

We enjoy traveling ourselves but every time we come home from a trip it confirms that we live in one of the most beautiful places in the world.
We chose this home for family and friends because of its proximity to our home and the beach. This area has so many out door activities to choose from including surfing, bicycling, boating, walking the beach, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, jet skiing, water skiing and too many more to mention.
Loved the home. Very close to the beach. The home had everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The master bathroom shower was awesome and very relaxing after a long day at the beach. Loved the fenced in yard for our fur baby...the grass is so plush that he would walk and just lay down and roll in it! There were 5 of us total and we were very comfortable there. In the garage they have beach chairs and towels you can use, there were toys as well but my son is way to old for those but a little child would love them. I would stay again in the future if we get the time off.
My husband and I had a wonderful time at this property and really enjoyed this peaceful area. it is within walking distance to everything you may need and a short walk to the beach. The property is as advertised, all you need to bring is food to prepare. We would recommend staying here. The owners are very attentive and accommodating.
This property is everything it says it is, and more. This was our second stay in The Slice of Paradise home and we will be back for another visit in the future. The homeowners are so easy to work with and are quick to respond to questions. The house is well equipped with the essentials and items to use at the beach. The location works great for our needs as we used the public beach access 1 block up, or it was a short 15 to 20 minute drive to Ormond Beach's Romano Park with free parking, splash pad and covered picnic tables. Or, to Ponce Inlet to the lighthouse or Marine Science Center. We could also get to and from the race track and outdoor mall on Williamson in 15-20 minutes. We love this home away from home!
My wife and I stayed at this property in April 2016 and we loved it. House was very clean and very well stocked! It's just around the corner from the entrance to the beach and you are within minutes of places to eat and convenience stores. The yard was very well manicured and house was decorated very nice. Even has a large garage to keep our beach belongings. The neighborhood is very quiet and well cared for. We are already in planning mode to return to "Slice of Paradise" and can't wait to go back.
My husband and I and our small dog, spent a week in April, 2016 at this home. The house was super clean, well decorated, and very comfortable. It was a short walk to the beach and a short drive to my in-laws, who live in Port Orange. The purpose of the visit was to spend time with the in-laws, so we only got to the beach a couple of times, it was warm but very windy that week. We did take our dog to the dog beach at Ponce Inlet, but he was afraid of the water. The beds were comfortable and there was ample room for six people, but this time there was only the two of us. The kitchen was well stocked, with all we needed and more. The linens were super, soft towels and comfortable cotton sheets - I loved the soap, it smelled and felt great. I am going to order some for home. The only challenge to us was the fencing in the back yard, because there were places our dog could slip under the fence we were not able to let him outside without a leash, he is only 20 pounds, so a larger dog would not have that challenge. I would highly recommend this home and any others that George and Cindy Nour own as places to stay in the Daytona area. The Nours know how to set up a rental for the benefit of their guests.
