I love realestate and when i see a diamond in the rough
no one and i mean no one can talk me out of it. this area has a small town feel but is right smack in the middle of the worlds most productive studios. Rich in history and
continues to lead the world in movie making quality.
The home has everything to make you feel at home, with comfortable beds and sheets to superfast Wifi and all the premium cable stations the cable company has to offer, all for you.
We are so close to all the studios and tours, Ellen show and Conan O Brian show and of course the Tonight show as well as only 5 minutes to Hollywood and Highland and all that Hollywood has to offer. Bobs big boy and the Friday night car show is up the block a 4 minute walk away
and there are no less than 3 Starbucks with in walking distance as well as Coffee Bean and Priscilla's coffee house a neighborhood favorite and also 4 minute walk away. The Falcon theartre is across the street from Bob's big boy and offers live theatre. Olive & Thyme is one of the best eateries not only in Burbank but all of LA and many of Warner Bros. well Know actors frequent the eatery everyday, also 5 minutes from The Penthouse. So So much more you will never want to leave especially when the average temperture year round is 76 degrees. Cheers.
The owner was very nice the first day, but he did not tell us about the door and me and my sister got lock outside at 1:00 am. He was very rude about the whole situation. We had to pay 130$ just to get back inside and all he cared about was the tenants. Also he said he was outside but didn't even come in to check on us. The comforter on the beds were very dirty. I took pictures but besides that our stay was OK!
This was our 2nd time staying in the Penthouse. Jerry, the owner is great to work with and the apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It is in the perfect location and so convenient. Very walkable. I enjoy my daily walks to Priscilla's coffee shop. The views are incredible. You can even see the new Harry Potter World, Hogwart's Castle at Universal Studios from the porch. We are heading back to LA in Feb. and will be renting another of Jerry's properties.
This was our first experience doing a vacation rental and it far exceeded our expectations. Having a fully functioning kitchen and laundry and the comfort of being in a home in a quiet neighborhood was much nicer than staying in a hotel. Everything was clean and well stocked. Bathroom and kitchen are up to date as well as appliances and beds were comfortable. Enjoyed drinking morning coffee on the porch. We would definitely rent again if in the area. Thank you Jerry.
We spent several weeks there, and it was perfect (and just as advertised.) Sitting out on the porch was very restful, surrounded by trees. There was one minor plumbing problem, which Jerry fixed immediately; he was responsive to any questions. The kitchen was well-equipped, the refrig spacious, plenty of shelf space. Closets were large (bring hangers). Hot water came on quickly. TV/DVR was tricky to work, but Jerry helped us through that on day 1. We'll be back.
The reason this place is seldom available is because I keep booking it! I'm in the television business and recently returned to LA after an extended stay back East. The idea was to sublet a place as I looked for a longtime apartment. The problem is nothing I've seen stacks up to this place and I'm on location frequently and have little time to look. Whether you're a tourist or in the TV/film business the location is ideal if you need to get to Warner Brothers (literally at the end of the block), Universal Studios or NBC Entertainment. It's a short walk from Riverside Drive with its restaurants, bars (even a new wine bar), cafes, Trader Joe's, Vons, a gym that does short term memberships (Fuxional Gym) and the original Bob's Big Boy (they have classic car show every Friday night in their parking lot). It's located about a five minute bike ride from Griffith Park - an awesome place under utilized by Angelenos. There are bike shops that rent road bikes too (Velo Studios is one, I'm a rider). Jerry, the owner, is friendly and accommodating. The apartment is tastefully decorated with interesting flourishes that aren't too, well, girly. The neighbors are great too. I love this place and so will you.
Take the Warner Brothers studio tour and stand were
Humphrey Bogart did when he told Ingrid Bergman she had get on the plane in 'Casablanca' only 250 yards to the entrance from vacation rental. Shops and food from around the world all within waliking distance.World renown Bobs big boy car show every Friday night.
