Cute house and had everything we needed.
This vacation home has much to offer. We stayed Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night at the end of July. The weather was overcast in the mornings, but by noon is was clear and warm. The wind was light. The beds are super comfortable, sheets very soft, really nice pillows. The bedroom closets offer a lot of storage, and the house was immaculate. It did get a little warm in the evenings but there are fans in the bedroom closets to use, which we did and it was fine. There were plenty of big bath towels and the water pressure was good. The shower nozzle is great for a tall person. We made all our meals at the house. The BBQ was clean and worked great. There's plenty of pots, pans, plates, silverware, utensils, spices, coffee, baggies, wrap, dish soap, and kitchen towels. The living room is comfortable with a small selection of games/cards. There were several toys for a child. Candyland, Operation, and some big plastic dinosaurs, which our 4 year old grandson loved. The backyard is bigger than the pictures show, completely fenced and offers quite a bit of privacy. The deck is only about a foot off the ground. (We had trouble at a different location when the deck was 2 1/2 feet off the ground, no railing, and a two year old.) It is close to Tillamook and the beach. There is a nice bar about 1/2 block away we walked to one night. They have Karaoke on Thursday and Friday nights. Nice place. We drove to the beach a few miles away and spent time flying our kite and running in the ocean. Our grandson had a ball building sand castles. On Saturday we went to the Farmers Market in Tillamook, which was a lot of fun. There was a very fun mini cupcake decorating booth for kids that was $1.00 and a free painting booth. There was a donut booth that had the best maple donuts I've ever tasted. Then onto Tillamook Creamery. Lots of grassy areas, dog friendly, benches, music, and ice cream! Five of us had an ice cream cone for under $20.00. Not bad! Our son-in-law went on a chartered fishing trip out of Tillamook and limited out on fresh bottom fish and crab! We bought fresh oysters and had a yummy dinner. Overall, this is a very relaxing, low key vacation. We will return and stay for a longer period of time. Thank you, Heidi and Zac!
Perfect for us
The cottage was tidy and well-equipped and a perfect spot for us. The kitchen was large which made it easy for preparing meals. The large, fenced yard was a plus for when our grandkids dropped by for a visit. We had a relaxing stay at this cottage.
Clean well cared for home
Had all the amenities needed for an extended stay except we couldn’t find an iron or ironing board. Also seating really holds only four people if you are watching tv. It was clean and comfortable. Thank you for an easy check in process.
Can’t wait to come again, recommend 100%
This is the cutest little cottage! Easy to find, close to the beach (we always drove but everything is within 10 minutes), and LOVE that it’s dog friendly (fenced in yard & small dog bed on property). We loved cooking breakfast before heading to the beaches and lighthouse. Games, TV with Netflix and Hulu hookup, booklet of recommendations were great too! Will stay again for sure!
Everything was great. Close to the water and just a short drive from swimming. The house is adorable with comfy beds. We (our two daughters along with my husband and I) would absolutely stay again.
