Why Koo Yuen chose Eastern Market
Most convenience , and very Historic and fine art natures Townhome built after the reconstruction of the 1800's era. All commercial supported establishment on the same block, but yet very quiet corner of the block. Eastern Market Metro subway station is 100 feet in front of the home.
What makes this Townhouse unique
THE VIEW to the Capitol, and the TOP NOTCH finishes of the interior of this home takes you back to our nation's forefather era of fine details and atmosphere, yet the house is updated with the most modern amenities within. The first class merchant anchors, restaurants and surroundings is a very big PLUS for the location

This was everything we were looking for in a VRBO! Nice and clean.... close to everything...and plenty of room.
Great location, very nice property. Thought it would be crowded with 8, but it worked. My only complaint is the pillows and the mattress in the upstairs master. Both need to be replaced, but other than that, perfect trip.
4 Couples 10 day stay
We were here for 10 days for kids graduation from GWU. Overall we loved the house. Upon arrival it was easy to find and access the house- check in was a breeze. The house was very quaint and you can not beat the location with the metro, Trader Joe's, Starbucks, numerous restaurants etc literally out your door. Walk able to the Capital area. Each bedroom had its own big screen TV and bathroom and internet so even though we had 8 people in a small space we each had somewhere to go if we wanted to. Eastern Market is a neighborhood going through a transition. We had no problems but we were always in a group of at least 4. I would not hesitate to stay again just be aware. Here is the run down.
Living-room- It is small but worked fine for us there is a small couch 2 chairs and the chairs from the dinette. Nice TV with cable and a pseudo fireplace that was electronic- we initially laughed at it but when it got cold and rainy we loved that thing.
Kitchen- Kitchen was nice decent size with a dishwasher. The only con was that the frying pan was missing it's handle, and there were not enough plates, glasses etc for our party of 8. This would be my only recommendation for management.
Bedrooms- there is 1 on the main floor and 3 upstairs. The large front upstairs bedroom is pretty loud at night and there is a bright street light right outside of the window. The house is right on the street which is why everything is so convenient so the trade off was well worth it and after walking all day we had no trouble sleeping. This large bedroom and the one right next to it both have bathrooms with-in the room which was great. The other two bedrooms have their own bathroom just right outside of their door. All bathrooms had blow dryers and came with toilet paper. We peaked at the outdoor spaces which were cute but never used them due to the weather and just lack of time. Our favorite restaurant was Henry's they had a great happy hour and the open market on Saturday (behind Trader Joe's) was really fun and there are some other great restaurants in that area. We even went to church at just down the street called Miracle which was a converted movie theater. They give out free coffee and donuts and the place was rocking- we loved it. Overall all of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again.
The property was great for family. We had ten travelling in our group there were enough beds and plenty of bathrooms to make getting ready easier. The location was great with places to eat within walking distance and the Metro was right across the street, which made travel to sites easy.
The house was good however it needs some good cleaning. The showers have mold and mildew in them. The floors aren’t being mopped. House keeping isn’t doing a good job
There was ample room for all. The townhome was nicely appointed and had the amenities we needed. Living/dining rooms were a bit cold but the rest of the house was very nice. Helpful manager when we had internet trouble, and other minor things. I would stay here again.
