Bittersweet
Cool concept. Lacking in amenities,for the cost. Didn't expect hornets nests, yellow water ,leaking roof,dirty pooltable& tub jets(we cleaned those best as we could-but,yellow water). Also,would've been nice to use the fireplace for a little while,on that 57 degree night.

The homeowner wants to ensure their guests have a five-star experience and would've been more than happy to address every one of your concerns. We can confirm the home is regularly serviced for pests due to its mountainous location. Additionally, the property is on a well water system, but a filter is installed to help mitigate this as much as possible. It's customary for all cabins in the area to not use fireplaces from May to October, but we apologize that this didn't suit your needs. Enchanting
We booked this property several months ago for a small wedding and it was perfect! The owner was so accommodating and nice. The cabin was exactly as pictured. We had 16 people staying with us which was no problem- plenty of room. Everything worked well. It was clean. If you're planning for a large number of people, bring extra towels, sheets, and blankets. We had a fantastic time and definitely will always remember our days in the Castle. :)
A Birthday trip to remember
I'm not usually a person who writes reviews but I felt I needed to write one. Myself and 12 friends came up for the week to celebrate my 40th birthday over 5 days. First off, It's a freaking castle in the mountains. That was amazing! It's a gorgeous looking place. Very spacious with great amenities. The hot tub was fun. The grill out back on the wonderful patio is perfection. The castle location is also perfect. It's about 25-35 min from everything. We really loved our time in Tenn.
The next things while not negative reviews are some things that could be worked on.
The castle provides 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom. = 3 rolls. 13 adults @ 5 days...You can imagine how quickly those go. So you need to provide toilet paper.
The castle provided 1 paper towel roll. 13 adults @ 5 days ... You need to provide paper towels
The castle provides one tab of dishwasher detergent. 13 adults @ 5 days. Bring your own.
The castle does not provide hand soap,
The castle does provide laundry but no detergent.
The castle provides 1 single trash bag. 13 adults @ 5 days. Bring your own trash bags.
As an avid house renter all over the country this was a little shocking to all of us. But after multiple trips back down the mountain it was resolved.
I feel I should let the next renters know the policy so they can avoid extra trips.
Did it mess up our stay? NO! It's a freaking castle in the mountains!! Just a little annoying.
If you advertise that the house sleeps 18, then it should comfortably provide the minimum essentials for that number of people per day.
Would I recommend the house to others?
100% YES knowing these few hurdles to avoid.

Cinderella instead of a princess!!
The look from the outside is breathtaking, this place is massive! I was very disappointed when I got inside its says it will sleep 16 people comfortably but there was only 10 of us and we didn't sleep comfortably. There are 3 bedrooms 1 downstairs the other 2 upstairs, 2 have good beds the 3rd bedroom is bunk beds with horrible mattresses like sleeping on boards. The sleeper sofa in the same room wasnt any better we felt like we was sleeping on a metal frame. I had to clean cob webs out of the upstairs bathroom because my 4 year old wouldn't use the bathroom because they were hanging down on her and my 10 year old wouldn't get in the top bunk bed because of the cob webs up there. I also had to run the upstairs jetted tube through 3 tubs of water to get the algae and dirt out of the pipes. You will have to also make your beds in the room with the bunks the sheets were just laying there. I would say beautiful exterior, most things in the kitchen except need a larger skillet for a large family but other than that I felt like Cinderella in this Castle.

Just beautiful
This is a beautiful place to stay. From the entrance to bedrooms and view. We had a great time staying here and were able to have a big family vacation thanks to all the space, we felt right at home. Only 20 mins from downtown Gatlinburg and we were able to enjoy it and everything it has to offer. Just wow
Unbelievable property!
This property was absolutely immaculate!!! Very spacious, and plenty of room for everyone. Only thing I would like to correct is that the listing said it was 5 min from Gatlinburg, and that is not accurate.
