Wonderful, quiet, great place to stay!
We had a wonderful 6 days here! The place is very clean and well maintained. The hosts, Peggy and Tony were very welcoming hosts. Coming from Canada I was not really sure yet about driving in town, so Tony helped me arrange a taxi to go downtown and see the sights. This was the first of our 3 weeks in Ireland, and this place was a great start! Would definitely stay again! Thanks Peggy and Tony for a great week!
Live like a local
Four of us enjoyed a too short stay at this most interesting property. Pictures and description are very accurate. The house was very clean and we had everything we needed. The barn sits behind Peggy and Tony's house and you will have complete privacy. They met us with great information on day trips and some pub and restaurant recommendations in Galway.
They were around, but not intrusive if that is a concern.
You will definitely need a car for any day trips and the 2 miles to downtown is a short drive or a 12 euro taxi charge. Peggy and Tony were helpful with cabs and it was relatively easy to travel to pubs in town that way.
I would recommend the property to anyone who wants quiet country living with excellent proximity to town.
Beautiful countryside close to city
Peggy and her husband were lovely and friendly and the house is so charming! The grounds are so beautiful too! We stayed for 5 days and was a great base for exploring West Ireland while being very close to Galway City. Perfect.
Very nice property
Good mix of city and country
Whimsical and Wonderful
This apartment is clean, cozy and adorable. We spent 10 days in Ireland and stayed in 5 different places, and this place was our favorite by far! It was a delightful country experience, and convenient to the center of Galway. Peggy, Tony, Daisey, Molly and the Cats were wonderful company! We will definitely be back!
This place was so adorable and quaint! Peggy has everything you would ever need and is an amazing host!!! It’s a MUST GO!
