Watch the sunrise through the woodland setting while relaxing in a rocking chair on the front porch. Enjoy a soak--under the stars--in the 2 person hot tub with privacy screen on the rear porch. Fresh mountain air and breathtaking views make it a perfect place to get away and relax…

Or, if you'd like to add adventure to your stay, our cabins are in the middle of Western North Carolina's great outdoor playground: hiking and backpacking, rafting, tubing, fishing, horseback riding, mountain biking, hot air ballooning, golfing, even snow skiing during the winter months, it's all available right here!

Guestbook comments from the owner

We had an amazing first anniversary here. The accommodations were superb. Can’t wait to come back in the fall to see the changing leaves and enjoy a warm fire in the crisp air.

Beautiful, Relaxing Getaway

It was exactly what we were looking for! Great location. Secluded enough to feel alone, yet close enough to town to grab something to eat. They were fantastic hosts. They literally thought of everything. Their attention to detail is superb. Definitely recommend!!

I loved this cabin so much, and even though we were only able to stay two nights it felt like my home away from. Everything was very clean and organzied. I loved the binder on the coffee table, it was vey helpful and found a few good places to eat such as Dave's 209 and also had directions to Max Patch which is a MUST when your there, beautiful views. Also visited Asheville one day to see the Biltmore Estates which I recommend doing. The hot tub was our favorite part. We loved to go out at night and look up at the stars. It is nice that the owners are still only two cabins down if you needed them, but yet they do not bother you and give you your space. They seem to be very friendly and nice. It is a very peacful and tranquil place to stay and I would definitely stay there again.

It's the little things

  • 5 of 5

This place was amazing. The little details of thoughtfulness go such a long way. As everything you need plus things that you didn't realize you need. Hot tub was nothing short of amazing.

We absolutely loved staying here !!

  • 5 of 5

What a wonderful vacation. We came and stayed for a week and couldn't be happier. We visited Hot Springs Spa while we were here and had a good experience there. The best part of every day was returning home to this cozy and VERY CLEAN cabin. The cleanliness of the cabin along with having all the accessories we use for daily living was absolutely great. Sitting in the hot tub while waiting for the charcoal to get ready in the grill was a great experience. We had everything we needed to prepare food that we had brought for the entire week. We will definitely be back . John and Jeanne , keep up the good work. You guys are thoughtful and I am grateful for your approach to an excellent vacation rental.

Serious Attention to Detail

  • 5 of 5

The owners/managers of the property neglected nothing in setting up this amazing cabin. Everything was ridiculously comfortable. Everything we needed was easily found. My wife mentioned at one point that we should of brought a water filter, she opened up the fridge, and it was there just sitting. Lights were labeled, charcoal was easily found, and we lived the week much the same way we would at home, except without such beautiful surroundings. The hot tub was exquisite. The location was perfect as well: we really enjoyed eating in Hot Springs and hiking along the French Broad on the Appalachian Trail in town. Nearby Max Patch was gorgeous this fall, and the drive to Asheville is quite nice. This cabin is located off of 209, which is a very beautiful road.

Highly recommended.
