This vacation rental is very clean and spacious. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay
I would stay here again! It’s a Pretty lake setting, quiet neighborhood, well appointed house with games, beach towels and chairs , fire pit, small dock, nice shade trees , very amply kitchen supplies.
the owner is communicative and puts care into making sure you are satisfied with your experience
Great place to stay . . .
We stayed here for 6 days in late July. If a laid back vacation on the lake is what you are looking for, this will likely foot the bill.
> Lots of space to spread out, great for a family of up to 6 or maybe a few more.
> Clean, VERY clean.
> Layout, with one bedroom at one end, and the other 2 at the far end, great for a family.
> Stocked kitchen, you need to bring nothing, with a blender, coffee maker, tons of pots and pans just to name a few, leave your stuff at home.
> VERY plush beds, a PRO IF you like plush.
> Good sized bathrooms, also stocked VERY well.
> Beautiful views.
> Every room was great sized for several people to enjoy.
> Satellite (even though we watched no T.V., it was an option).
> Ample parking.
> Dining for 8 people, between a large table and a large island.
> Good, up to date appliances that work well.
> Water softener.
> Pretty peaceful.
> Your own dock. We enjoyed sitting on the bench. I would think one could fish here?
> Last, but not least, the hostess, is amazing, she went above and beyond.
I'm sure there are things I'm forgetting.
Cons (most of which the hostess has no control over):
> Although it was peaceful, there are several trains that run through the night. Each night they woke me about 4 times, I am a LIGHT sleeper and I couldn't hear them in the back 2 bedrooms, but did in the front bedroom.
> The lake . . . it was moss covered during our visit. There wouldn't be anyone wanting to get in here, but there was a close by beach (we didn't go to).
> VERY plush mattresses, if you need firm, bring a mattress topper or an inflatable mattress.
> IF you are sensitive to fragrances or have asthma, there are air fresheners around. We found 2, which we quickly put in baggies, but it still seemed like there were more. This is a SMALL thing, but was important for us.
I really don't think anyone would be disappointed in this place. Keep in mind it is a good hour from the city. There is a nice grocery store in Annandale, just 15 minutes away. There are a few small towns with little shops to enjoy starting at 15 minutes away. St. Cloud is a little over a 1/2 hour away with restaurants and shopping.
