My Tiny Home "Trailer" Test
Overall, I enjoyed my Austin stay in the quiet Zilker neighborhood. Most everything about my overnight accommodations was noted prior to my arrival which made for a pretty stress free stay. Yay! Although, I wasn't made aware that my weekend "tiny home" would be sharing a yard with another "tiny home camper/van." The residents of said camper/van did make themselves visible, but pretty much stayed near their space. The Airstream trailer was indeed tiny and I felt it was filled with every possible item needed except maybe cockroach spray. It did lack ample space for my overnight bags and hanging garments. This is probably due to this particular trailer's configuration. The A/C and heat both worked well with the unpredictable spring weather too. Finally, thank you Amy for answering my messages promptly and thoroughly. I had a fun time testing out the "tiny home" lifestyle.
Thank you for taking the time to leave this review and for being such great house guests! We hope you enjoyed your stay and would love to have you back in the future!

Staying Weird in Austin
My boyfriend and I very much enjoyed our first Airstream experience, and the location was perfect. We highly recommend walking down the street to Uchi for sushi, Merit for coffee, and checking out SouthPop, Austin's culture museum. You may want to bring earplugs as he train runs a few hundred feet away, but watching it go by eating the complementary cinnamon rolls, apples, oranges and the drinking the beer was a nice touch!
Thanks so much for taking the time to leave this review. We are so glad that you and Kris had enjoyed your stay! Hope to have you back soon,

I had a great stay in the Austin airstream trailer.
I had a great stay in the Austin airstream trailer. If I had any questions, I was generally able to get in touch with someone, and responses were very quick! Next time I would make sure that the water was hooked up prior to someone's stay. I arrived late (after hours) to find my water was not hooked up, and wasn't able to resolve until the following day. Thanks again for a great stay!
Hi Sean, Thank you for taking the time to leave this review. We've had a few issues with people turning the water off at the building, so we've added signs to instruct them to call us before doing so - this seems to have addressed that issue. Glad you enjoyed your stay, -Amy with iTrip
As always the customer service is outstanding.

Awesome Time in the Tiny Home!
Loved everything about it (although it is definitely on the 'tiny' side). If you're looking for something other than your typical 'airbnb' experience, you really need to check out the Airstream! Very comfortable accommodations - owner left a nice bottle of wine, breakfast pastries, fresh fruit, bottled water - really top-notch. The Airstream has a private fence around it, and the yard is HUGE so you really do feel as if you're camping in the heart of downtown Austin. Weather was nice so we sat outside in the mornings with our coffee, and at night with our glass of wine - just a great experience. I highly recommend.
We appreciate you taking time to leave this review and you're right - the Airstream is certainly on the small side, and that's part of what makes this a unique trip to Austin. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and hope you will keep us in mind for your future trips to Austin.

Perfect for those on a shoe-string budget
This place was great. The Airstream was comfortable and location couldn't be beat! We decided last-minute to go to Austin for the weekend and didn't want to spend a lot of money - this place was perfect. Very clean, had everything we needed (comfortable bed, bathroom with shower, kitchen table, refrigerator. Outside had a couple of chairs on the deck, picnic table, bbq grill (none of which we used). The owners left us bottled water, a bottle of wine, fresh fruit and bagels for breakfast - very thoughtful.
Airstream is in a fenced in HUGE yard - it felt like we were camping, but in the middle of Austin. There was a cool bar (Gibson bar) just a few steps up the road, and South Lamar was just a block away.
Definitely recommend if you're looking for a unique place to stay.
So glad you enjoyed the Airstream - it's definitely not your 'typical' airbnb-experience :)
I agree - Gibson Bar is a cool hang-out, especially since it's just a few steps up the road.
Hope you'll come back again soon,
