Built about eight years ago, this modern apartment has a living room furnished with quality furniture including two generous sofas with seating for at least four people together with an LCD screen TV, multi region DVD and a Bose system with leads for an iPod and WiFi Internet access.It also incorporates a dining area capable of seating ten.The separate Italian kitchen is fully equipped with top of the range appliances including dishwasher and washing machine and the kitchen and living room lead onto a west facing balcony with a Weber electric barbecue and a dining table and chairs where dining for a large part of the year can be enjoyed al fresco.The 2 bedrooms are well fitted out with twin beds and a shared east facing balcony looking down onto the communal swimming pool. Facilities include one bathroom, a separate toilet, and a shower room with a toilet . The apartment is climate controlled with both air conditioning and central heating. Reserved space for parking is provided.
CLEANLINESS: One important area for us is that anywhere we stay is spotlessly clean. Our apartment is thoroughly cleaned before each party of guests arrive. Beds are made up with freshly laundered linen and clean towels are provided for each guest. You just need to bring your own beach towels. On departure, the apartment is cleaned once again so you do not need to spend your holiday time cleaning and polishing.
BEACH TOWELS: Whilst we do provide towels for each guest, we do not supply beach towels so please remember to bring your own.
CHANGEOVER DAY: Changeover day is normally Saturday but off season, changeover on other days will be considered. We will try to accommodate if possible.
We just wanted to thank you so much for the bottle of wine you sent to compensate for any inconvenience regarding the oven. It was a lovely wine which we enjoyed and the oven is working fine now with the new glass front. We also appreciated the extra set of keys to allow flexibility - someone could go down to the pool whilst another went for the morning baguette!
We really enjoyed our time again in your lovely apartment - a very relaxing environment. We visited beaches at La Napoule (Plage des Mineurs and La Raguette), I would love to visit the iconic Chateau La Napoule some other time. We had 2 bad thunder storms but the heat quickly returns and everyone is back on the beaches. It was really helpful that Annalisa could meet us at the airport since our plane arrives late from Newcastle-Upon-Tyne. Many thanks again for facilitating a wonderful holiday. Norma
It is a great apartment, with everything you need in a vacation home.A/C works perfectly. Nice building.
Terasse is nice with afternoon/evening sun. Pool is nice and has afternoon sun, most of the sunbeds are unfortunately broken !
Bus stop 5 min from the apartment, with only 10 min busride to Cannes - also in the evening, so you can go for dinner and not worry about
2 min walk to small supermarked/10 min walk to a large supermarked. 2 min to a daily marked, with fruit and vegetables.
I can only recommend this apartment.
We did have some issues with the wifi/tv, but according to the owner this should be solved by now.
We stayed with our kids in the apartment. Very nice and clean appartment at a great and calm location in La Bocca. The appartment is fully equipped with everything you may need for a weeks stay also when cooking in the appartment. Also the booking routines and admin around worked perfectly. I would recommend this appartment to anyone.
The apt is nice and comfy, The location is very near to the main road where you can get the bus to Cannes.
There are several restaurants within walking distance however we planned to visit some of them and found they weren't open every night or were not very busy ie no atmosphere. It is much better to go into Cannes itself on the bus 10mins or train 3mins. Alternatively you can walk there on the front in about 50mins if you fancy the stroll. Please be aware there are only 3 sunbeds around the pool for all residents.
The property was comfortable, well equipped, for a family or two couples.... the terrace with barbecue facilities was great.
The accommodation was light and airy and well maintained.
The location had easy access to Cannes central by public transport but also a wonderful 20 min walk along the beach.
Good security around the development.
Great bars and eateries in the area... great bakery nearby.
The flat was everything we could want for a quick get-away. It's clean, comfortable and beautifully appointed with so many fabulous photographs to enjoy. We particularly liked the proximity to a fantastic beach with rocky outcrops in the water to swim to - the temperature of the water in April was refreshing but beautiful! The flat is situated in a lively area with plenty of local restaurants to choose from, as well as excellent shops and a busy market. We can't wait to return next year!
The description was very accurate but didn't begin to do justice to the lovely, relaxed surroundings - especially the small quiet beaches so close to the flat. We also enjoyed the variety of local restaurants within 5 minutes' walking distance, as well as the market. The flat itself has everything you could need and breakfast on the balcony is a lovely way to start the day.
This contemporary apartment, fully fitted out to a very high standard, is on the third floor of a low rise building with a lift, communal swimming pool set in the adjoining landscaped garden with secure underground parking.For anyone not having been to Cannes before, Cannes La Bocca is a charming part of Cannes 2.8 kms along the coast from central Cannes with numerous restaurants,bars,shops and a local market within walking distance.This apartment is situated in Rue de Bosquet - just two minutes walk from the St Marguerite Church on Francis Tonner Avenue. It is a ten minute bus ride or a 30 min. walk to the Hotel de Ville near the Palais des Festivals in Cannes (buses running approx every 5/6 min), and just 4 mins walk to the sandy beach, Plage du Midi.There are also two train stations, one within two min. walk which goes to Cannes and Grasse and the other, a 5 min walk, which goes along the coast to Cannes, Nice, Monaco and Saint Raphael.The journey by train to Cannes takes 6 min.
