Great spot!

  • 5 of 5

This Cottage is just marvellous! We have stayed here for the second time and enjoyed Kicki's and Christian's hospitality. I can recommend it fullheartedly! Stockholm is just 30 minutes away, the archipelago such a great place to explore both for adults as kids... We will certainly come back soon!

A perfect location

  • 5 of 5

No matter how good the pictures look, they can only give you a vague impression of what you can expect here. The view from the house is so absolutely fantastic that you will not want to leave again after your stay! So we just sat outside as often as we could. It is a perfect place if you just want to relax, do some trips in the two boats provided here or take some nice walks in the area.

The house itself is cosy and convenient, we did not miss anything. If there is any kind of problem, the owner, Christian, will help you out. He gave us a very nice trip into the surrounding area on his motorboat which we enjoyed very much. We can warmly recommend this place and will most definitely come back very soon.

Tolle Erholung auf den Schären

  • 5 of 5

Toll!! Ulrike

Découverte du merveilleux archipel de Stockholm

  • 5 of 5

Stockholm Archipelago Cottage

  • 5 of 5

This was our second stay at this delightful cottage and it won't be our last. The location of the cottage is stunning with lovely views. One can swim at the bottom of the hill or in a nearby ( 5 minute walk) lake which is lovely. There is plenty of space to sunbathe or to sit and admire the view. The property comes with access to a small boat with an outboard motor and a canoe.

The owners are delightful and very helpful and the property is clean and well maintained.

The archipelago outside Stockholm is a paradise and this property allows you to experience the Swedish summer that Swedes enjoy year in year out. For apeaceful holiday where one can enjoy the great oudoors with plenty of wildlife this takes some beating. And, of course, the great city of Stockholm is 45 minutes away

Beautiful place

  • 5 of 5

We spend two weeks at this wonderful place . The owners are very nice and helpful.

You kan do so much around this place. Fishing, hiking, sailing, cyckling, visit Stockholm very easy by bus, etc. Just being in these beautiful surroundings makes you feel completely relaxed.

Inside the house you´ve all you need.

We are already looking forward to come back in the summer 2017:-)

Car: recommended

The property is located in the most beautiful part of Stockholm´s Archipelago. Only 40 min by car or bus from the centre of beautiful Stockholm with all the shops, museums, restaurants and attractions. 50 m from the house you find a nice child friendly sandy beach and rocks to dive from. Nearby there are three major golf courses and several minor ones. Stavsnäs is a small village with original picturesque wooden houses situated only 3 km from the house. There you will find a small bakery and a pub if you fancy a nice cup of coffee or a beer. There is also a small supermarket and an all-year ferry harbour connecting the nearby inhabited islands such as Sandhamn. Sandhamn is an island where you can experience the remarkable maritime terrain of the outer archipelago. This is also the key meeting place for sailors and yachters, with a vibrant party scene during the summer. The idyllic village has an inn, hotels, the classic Royal Swedish Yacht Club, and numerous restaurants and bars.
