River Falls Cabin is one of the most desirable family cabins in all of the Smokies. This real log cabin rests in a private, secluded setting in Cosby, Tennessee alongside Cosby Creek, a blue ribbon trout stream. The stream is over 60 feet wide next to River Falls.
Guests will enjoy the beautiful, tranquil grounds surrounding the cabin as well. There is plenty of room for horseshoes, yard darts, and other activities. River Falls is appointed with fine furnishings, large flat-screen TVs with cable television, and wireless internet. Guests can enjoy the 4-person spa on the back deck overlooking Cosby Creek.
Upstairs, River Falls has a small living room with a queen size sofa sleeper, flat screen television, and a Pac-Man multicade arcade game!
River Falls is about 12 minutes south of Newport, and is a 25-minute drive to downtown Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Sevierville.
The Great Smoky Mountains National Park is only a 5-miute drive.
Multiple families/family members can also reserve River Falls Bungalow, a 1-bedroom log cabin about 150 feet from the main cabin. River Falls Bungalow sleeps 4 and includes a full kitchen.
This place was great! The creek/river is right off of the back balcony. A perfect place to come out and relax and let the day go by. The house was fully equipped with all the amenities of home! We will be coming back to this location again. The Cabin care takers were always available the very few times that I called for questions. Thanks again for letting us stay at this beautiful cabin in the Smoky Mountains.
This place is amazing! A beautiful, secluded cabin with a wonderful river running right in the back yard. If I could have a dream home this is what it would look like! I hope to return at some point. It's only a short drive to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge if you wanted to go for the day. Beautiful place!
We stayed here the week of June 6th. The cabin was great. Off the beaten path but still close enough to do everything we wanted to do. Hearing the water running over the falls was great to listen to as we relaxed on the back porch after long days of site seeing. Everything we needed for our stay was there. Just a beautiful cabin in a great location. Would love to stay here again on our next visit.
River Falls is our favorite relaxing getaway spot in the Smokies. Love staying here and spending hours on the back porch watching and listening to Cosby Creek. We enjoy the lack of traffic and the slower pace and the feeling of seclusion this cabin offers. Can't wait to come back and make more memories!
The property is amazing! It had everything you could possibly need to relax and just enjoy your time. The sound of the water at night was my favorite. It's hard to find anything wrong with this place. However, the fireplace didn't work when it was cold, half of the jets in the hot tub didn't work, the plug in the tub didn't work and the beds were hard as a rock. Overall, great stay and lots of memories made! P.S. Eat breakfast down the road at the apple orchard!
This is a really nice cabin, and the setting is beautiful (although not nearly as private as it may lead you to believe). We went to celebrate a special occasion, but found the place to be woefully understocked with essentials. Oh, the soap and the towels were there, as were the linens, but we assumed (incorrectly) that there would be essential staples, like salt and pepper, some cooking oil, and such. The nearest grocer is many miles away, and I bought these while in Gatlinburg for the day, where they cost an arm and a leg.
If you are planning to go, then be sure to pack every single thing you will need, or you will end up making a mad dash over a long distance. Sure takes the fun out of that special steak dinner you had planned.
Also, if you don't like bear decor, this is not the place for you.
In Cosby, Tennessee. 5 minutes to National Park, 30 minutes to Dollywood, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Sevierville.
