ATTENTION SUMMER 2016 GUESTS: The complex is undergoing a large-scale renovation project to re-surface the plaza between buildings. The project runs from Apr 25-Nov 18. Work will take place between 8 am and 7 pm Monday to Saturday, excluding holidays. All the Village's amenities, except the plaza, will be open and available throughout the construction. As of this update, most of the really loud demolition work has been completed and recent guests are reporting no major nuisances.

Park your car and leave it when you escape to our two bedroom/two bathroom “Alpenview Suite” located in the best spot in Breckenridge. The Village at Breckenridge is one of only a very few complexes that is both ski-in/ski-out AND a stone’s throw to the town’s Main Street historic district. Facing southwest and bathed in tons of natural sunlight, our top floor corner unit seven stories above the Blue River has spectacular views from every window. While grilling out on your large private deck, enjoy a commanding 270 degree vista that stretches from Mount Baldy to Quandary Peak to the world-class runs of Breckenridge Ski Resort. Inside, we’ve completely remodeled our 1,200 square foot home-away-from-home with brand new carpet, furnishings, lighting, electronics, mattresses, and linens. Our suite features a wonderfully appointed kitchen with full-sized refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and range, along with a crockpot, griddle, blender, toaster, and coffee maker. The large living and dining room area has a romantic gas stone fireplace, huge 60” TV with DIRECTV service and Blu-ray DVD player. Don’t feel like venturing out in the cold? You can “virtually” ski using our Wii gaming system. (We have 17 Wii games to choose from…or feel free to bring your own.) The upgraded queen-sized memory foam mattress on the leather sleeper sofa makes for a much better night’s rest than an average couch. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed with Simmons Beautyrest mattress, ceiling fan, LED TV with Blu-ray player, separate tub and vanity areas, large walk-in closet, and direct access to the deck. Enjoy your morning coffee in the sitting area under the huge picture window, or curl up in a blanket in one of the comfy deck chairs. The second bedroom features two queen-sized beds with Sealy Templeton mattresses, ceiling fan, LED TV, separate bathroom, and its own private balcony. Free wireless internet throughout the suite. In addition, our guests have access to all the on-site amenities of the Village, including a fitness center with locker rooms, showers and exercise equipment, heated indoor/outdoor pool, sauna, steam room, hot tubs, heated parking garage, ski rental, lift ticket office, ski school, medical clinic and more! And if all this isn’t enough, only one block separates Alpenview Suite from Breckenridge’s abundant shops, restaurants, art galleries, theaters, bars, and nightclubs!

We’re not a hotel chain or big corporation…just a family whose dream was always to own property in the mountains. We love Breckenridge because it’s a real town with a real history dating back to 1859, much of which has been carefully preserved in Colorado’s largest historic district. The skiing is fabulous, but the summers have kept us coming back since 1999. You CANNOT get bored here: outside of the amazing array of winter sports (downhill skiing, cross-county skiing, heli-skiing, snowboarding, sledding, snowshoeing, tubing, ice skating, snowmobiling, dogsledding, ice climbing, sleigh riding), there’s a dizzying array of 3-season outdoor activities like hiking, climbing, mountain biking, horseback riding, golfing, white water rafting, kayaking, ballooning, swimming, running, tennis…pretty much something for everyone! Our condo is a great, peaceful escape for our family, and we’re anxious to share it with you on your next mountain vacation!

This condo gives our family of six room to spread out. The bedrooms are separated by the living room and entryway, affording a lot of privacy. The location of the Village at Breckenridge can't be beat...ski-in for lunch and walk to just about everything in town. Nice view , nice location

Highly recommend for anyone who want to stay in a great location in Breckenridge . This condo is on the top floor and higher than many buildings here so you can see a great view of mountain and city .my husband and I love to sit at patio and see the view outside .

Owner's Response: The town of Breckenridge limits the height of new construction, so our 7th floor condo will forever remain one one of the highest man-made points in town. We could sit all day long on the deck overlooking the Maggie Pond and the Blue River just drinking in the view.

Wonderful Location

This unit is by far has the most spectacular views. We felt instantly at home in this well appointed condo. The beds were extremely comfortable, linens all provided and superior quality. Smart TV's made movie watching a breeze. Kitchen is well stocked and has all cooking utensils you could ask for!! We had a fantastic vacation here and hope to return in years to come. Thanks Joe!!

Owner's Response: You're very welcome! I believe our condo is in the best spot in the complex which, in turn, is located in the best spot in all of Breck! We're on the corner of the top floor with a commanding 270 degree view that stretches from downtown Breckenridge in the northeast to Maggie Pond and the Blue River in the south to the mountains and runs of the ski resort in the southwest.

An outstanding unit with terrific views and fantastic service

The owners of this unit are more than accommodating. They are attentive to any needs you may have. The unit is spectacular with everything you would ever need to make your stay enjoyable. The view is spectacular, and the unit is so comfortable, clean, and homey, you will not want to leave. If you are here for skiing, you can't get a more convenient location. The parking is also very convenient. You are a block from Main street, so if you aren't hiking, you would never need to drive!. You are a half a block from the best burger ever, at Empire, and across the street from the best Mexican ever, at Mi Casa. I highly recommend staying here, and will be back.

We promise to respond to your needs as quickly as we can. Our location is simply the best in Breckenridge and, you're right, the on-site, secure, heated parking garage is a plus. You may come and go as you please, of course, but most guests find that just about everything they need is just a short walk away: skiing, hiking, biking, shopping, eating, drinking...you really don't need a car for most things once you get here.

Owner's Response: Thanks for your review. We put a lot of thought into our check-in/check-out process. We wanted to make it as easy and painless as possible for our guests. Many properties here in Breck have screwy processes, like forcing their guests to go halfway across town to pick up keys, making them stand in line to check-in, or (worse yet) limiting the hours of check-in/out. Our check-in/check-out process is on-site, 24 hours with no lines and no waiting. We want you to get in and to start enjoying the place as soon as possible!

Great Location/ Great Unit

Unit was everything we could have hoped for. - Great location, close to base of Pk 9, and Main Street.

Joe was very upfront and honest in description. He even rang to let us know the HOA was shutting the water off for a couple of hours the following day, allowing us to plan around it.

This was our first time using Home Away, and the experience could not have been better.

Perfect location

We couldn't have picked a better condo for our stay in Breckenridge. It was extremely close to ski school, the quicksilver lift and town. The quicksilver lift is perfect for beginners and we had our 4 yr old son with us experiencing his first time on a chair lift. The condo was clean, quiet and had beautiful views. Toys were supplied and kept our son entertained. The owner was detailed with direction and pleasant to deal with.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your review. Some of the resort's easiest terrain is right under the Quicksilver Lift, which explains why the ski school is located right here in the complex. Keep in mind, though, that you can access the entire mountain by connecting to other lifts from the Quicksilver...without ever having to take your skis off!

No need for a car once you're here...walk to pretty much everything in town! Numerous companies provide shuttle service to/from Denver Intl Airport, like Colorado Mountain Express (800-525-6363). Breckenridge 'Free Ride' provides complimentary bus transportation around town. Summit Stage provides free bus transportation from Breckenridge to other locations in Summit County, including Copper Mountain and Keystone ski resorts, Frisco, Dillon, and the Outlet Shops at Silverthorne.
