Villa Jolie is encircled by continuous wide balconies on both levels, accessed from the rooms by French doors. The villa is surrounded by mature garden and several terraces.

Park your car in the enclosed car port and walk to the front door which opens to the villa's upper level. The hallway contains an antique piano and has access to a fully fitted kitchen.

Further on is the arched entrance to the large reception area with comfortable seating area, a 52' LCD TV, Bose surround sound and UK high definition satellite TV. Free WiFi Internet and free telephone calls to most international land lines are available.This room also contains a dining area with seating for 12 under a crystal chandelier.

The upper level also has bedroom 1 with en-suite bathroom with WC which can be accessed either via the bedroom or the hallway. The lower level contains 4 more bedrooms.

The pool house in one level below and contains the 6th bedroom with en-suite bathroom & WC and another fully fitted kitchen.

Local area and position: Cannes was developed by the wealthy Victorians and Edwardians who came here to enjoy the beautiful year round climate, and famous painters came to this region to live and make use of the unique light that exists here.

It has now become world famous because of the annual Cannes Film Festival which draws in celebrities from all over the globe. For these reasons, Cannes has world class shopping, containing all the top name brands as well as all amenities situated locally.

Cannes is perfectly positioned to enjoy the pleasures of the azure Mediterranean Sea to the South and the mountains of the Esteral and the Alpes Maritimes to the North. It is centrally positioned to enable easy motorway or train access to Nice, Monaco and Italy to the East and St. Tropez and the more rural Var to the West.

All around are beautiful Provençal villages.

The Villa: Villa Jolie is in a peaceful location with mature gardens surrounding it.

The grounds contain twelve olive trees, a lemon tree, numerous cacti and a very old pine tree which provides shade to parts of the garden. There is stone work in the garden with two types of bougainvillea (red and purple) climbing it. Another stone wall, next to the pool, is covered with jasmine.

The pool is splendid, varying in depth between 0.9 and 2.5 metres and you can have an uninterrupted swim for 17 metres. The pool is surrounded by terracing and access to the pool house with fully equipped kitchen and bathroom with WC.

Feedback: I have many repeat bookings and most guests describe the villa as beautiful, even stunning.

Sunny and relaxing week in lovely Villa Jolie

We came to Cannes to celebrate grandpa's 60 years jubileum with 4 children and their families; 9 adults and 2 children. The main reason we chose Villa Jolie was the beautiful, big pool and enough rooms with bathrooms for every family. We did not disappoint. Villa was perfect for our purposes. It felt like home. Also the pool house was in active use when we grilled and spent nice time together in the evenings.

We warmly recommend this property; we were very well informed and taken care of.

Fabulous Villa in a geat location

Fabulous Villa situated in a very smart neighbourhood. There is so much space in this villa that families can really spread out and find a quiet spot if that is required. Long wide balconies with lovely views just add to the charm of this villa.

There are various areas for alfresco dining which we made full use of..

We really did enjoy our stay.

Perfect for Multi Family Holiday

Great Villa with Plenty of space for three families and Kids.Excellent Pool with the pool room great for lunching. Terrace above the Pool room perfect for evening entertainment wrt having a cold drink and BBQ. Air conditioning a plus with the Villa conveniently located just outside of Cannes centre.

This Villa had loads of space, loads of bathrooms, loads of bedrooms, excellent airconditioning in every room and bedroom even hallways. There are multiple outdoor seating areas for dining and relaxing which accommodate 10+ in each location around the house. There is ample parking at the two access routes to the house, upper front door higher road and lower poolside door beside the Villa garage. The house has a lovely large bright living room with a dining table for 10+. The kitchen has every mod con you could want with an ice maker fridge and plenty of storage. There is an excellent pool house / apartment with its own kitchen, dining area double bedroom and bathroom. There were 10 in our group and we had some much space to roam around the house and grounds at times it seemed quiet. Located in a lovely very upmarket area of Cannes where all the houses are surrounded by mature trees with no noise or traffic. It's just 15 minutes on foot and 3 minutes in a car to the town areas and 5 minutes to the main Cote D'Azur motorway, this is a super base for every type of Holiday wheather exploring the Riviera or just Canned, you just can not go wrong. We loved it and hope to return.

This is a great house. The landlord was very nice to deal with and there was nothing exra we needed in the house for our stay. An absolute must. The pictures of this house are great but to see this in the flesh is truly excellent. Well worth every penny ;-))))

Fantastic villa with superb pool

This viila is absolutely charming. The location is right in the most sought after part of Cannes with fabulous views and close access to all ameneties, and is peaceful and private.

On arrival, our welcome was friendly and we enjoyed discovering all the different facets of the property. The pool was stunning - the best I have ever seen in a villa of this size, in fact better than I have seen in villas more than twice the size.

The property was clean and well presented and the facilities were superb.

Our children had the time of their lives playing in the vast pool and watching cartoons and DVDs on the cinema quality huge TV screen in the evening.

The villa has 2 fully equipped kitchens which made life so convenient in enabling us to dine either in the main villa or al fresco beside the pool. There are many different terraces in the villa, which allowed our group to enjoy many varied ambiences either seperately or together whenever we pleased whilst all being in the same property and being able to move from one area to another. Although we were a group of 12, there was a great feeling of space.

One evening there was a spectacular firework display on the coast which we all watched from the upper balcony.

There are many restaurants nearby and having cars enabled us to explore the surrounding areas. One day Monaco, another day the mountains, another day the beaches, another day St. Tropez. There is so much to do here that we will definitely be returning to continue with our many and varied discoveries.

I wouln't hesitate in recommending this villa, my only worry would be that if too many people book it, it will be more difficult to reserve it for us next time!

Villa Jolie is located in the sought after district of Californie on the hill on the Cannes side of Super Cannes. This area contains many of the best luxury villas owned by the rich and famous.

To the south there is a view of the Mediterranean Sea and the bay of Cannes. The Carlton Hotel is visible as is the Old Port and the Cannes old town called Le Suquet. In the distance you can see across the bay to Theole and Mirimar.

To the west the villa enjoys beautiful sunsets and views of the roof tops of Le Cannet, to the north you can see across to Mougins and Grasse and the mountains of the Esterel beyond.

The villa is approximately 3 km from the Croisette and Palais des Festivals, and all local amenities are nearby. Beaches are located off the Croisette and continue along the coastline in both directions.

Cannes is centrally placed on the Riviera to give easy access to Nice and the main airport, Monaco, Antibes, St. Tropez and the beautiful Provençal villages in all directions

Golf: There are ten golf courses within 10 km of the villa, including the famous Royal Mougins Golf Club.

Ski: The nearest ski resort is Gréolières which is only a 45 minutes away. A drive of an hour and a half will get you to Auron, Valberg and Isola 2000 which has made a bid for the Winter Olympics.
