The villa is 3 minutes drive from the old town (taxi 3-4 eur). The roads are good and never crowded both in Corralejo on the island as a whole.

Opposite is the shopping centre 'Tamarindo': with baker's, restaurants, pubs, bars, a cyber-cafe, car rental office, a supermarket and several shops and offices. Next, international press, several banks and other restaurants.

A 5 min. walk is the 'BAKU Cultural and Leisure Centre. This center has a Water Park, the City Library with a free WiFi room and the Auditorium where you can enjoy good music and other entertainment.

A taxi rank is within walking distance (30-50m). Two bus stops within 200-300m in all directions.

MERCADONA: this hypermarket is 10 min. walk from the house. It is the best household products chain in relation to 'price for money' in Spain.

Been here quite a few times. Great location, with bars and shops within a few minutes walk, and only a 20 minute stroll into the town

Lovely villa great location

Lovely villa in ideal location, couple of good bars, Clarkies and Belgium beer bar, restaurant and cafes all in very easy walking distance. 15 minutes flat walk into Corralejo town or 3 euro taxi just outside door.

Villa has really comfy beds and furniture, English tv channels and excellent internet connection. Outside seating area in sun or shade the pool was lovely to cool off in and the private roof terrace was a great sun trap.

Great 10 days, will be back. 👍?😀?

Another enjoyable holiday 😎

This is our 2nd stay at this villa this year. After our 1st stay we suggested fans in the bedrooms as they can get very hot, the very helpful owner has now provided the fans which really did make our stay far more comfortable. The villa is in a really good location, a couple of minutes walk to local shops and bars and a lovely 15 minute walk into the town.

Not impressed

We were very disappointed with the villa. It was dingy, showing signs of neglect and its age. A good clean might have helped improve impressions, but cobwebs on the furniture, mould around the baths etc, did not help

The contact at resort was not at all helpful or interested in our complaints on arrival

The exterior area of the villa was not pleasant. Bird droppings on the terrace and poolside furniture had obviously been there some time.

A pool cover would have helped keep the water cleaner during the bad weather of the first week; it might have helped maintain a water temperature which dropped so much that we did not use the pool during our stay. A shame!

Did not use the phone so absence of ring tone not a concern. Did not use the TV, but did not see evidence of English channels.

Were told not to use the gate to access the resort behind the villa. But at the time the swimming pools were empty and the area was more like a building site.

Overall we did not enjoy our stay, it was not an experience we would repeat, and we would not recommend it to anyone.

Owner's Response: NOT IMPRESSED EITHER. We have just read your review and we are also disappointed at your little objectiveness. The house is just 12 years old and well maintained. The pool cover is very helpful but not in summer time - removed it is much better. The cover in on site from autumn to spring, depending on the weather conditions when exactly is removed. Do you think the pool cover can be fully mounted and removed every day? That is not sensible. Did we ever guarantee a minimum pool water temperature. We don't advertise any conventional machine pool water heating. Were there so many bird dropping in the pool side? I don't think so. I think you gave exaggerated. Anyway, how can you prevent all bird droppings among so much vegetation and trees? Your description is more of a wreckage: I don't agree. The TV works all right and gets several channels, at least the BBC and ITV international channels. The landline telephone works and the WIFI facilities work all right. Are you sure you handled both properly? In case of any breakdown our manager in Corralejo sees to it right away: Did you report any fault or breakdown? We do not advertise what you call the "resort" behind the villa - that is not offered. According to you all was negative. Are you sure you did not come in a negative mood? All wrong, is it possible? All the other preceding guests were so wrong speaking about many positive facilities? I'm really sorry you didn't enjoy your stay so I gather you will not intend to come back. Regards.

Fabulous holiday

The villa is in a great location, there are a few bars/cafes over the road and it's about a 15 minute walk into the town. The villa has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The only negative I have is more towels would be handy. Can't wait to return 😎?

Great house for a family holiday.

Great house for a family holiday. Fully equipped, has everything you need for a comfortable stay, all in good condition and works. Suitable for families with small children as has no stairs with the exception of the terrace on the roof. The pool is closed with a tent from polycarbonate in winter, which is also protects from children and makes bathing more comfortable in windy days. The house is located on the outskirts, so it takes 15-20 minutes to the beaches and shopping centres , but we walked even with a stroller. And also it is possible to hire bikes or a car. Minutes away there are several cafes and a grocery. The disadvantage for us was damages pavement on the street leading to the house. Was a trouble to walk with the stroller. The owners are attentive, friendly, quickly respond to all questions. Free Wi-Fi. Overall we are satisfied with our holiday, will recommend this Villa to friends.

Places of archaeological interest: The municipality is one of the richest archaeological zones of the island of Fuerteventura. Contains petroglpyhs on Mount Tindaya

Natural areas: 14.2% of the area of ​​the municipality is protected natural space. The natural areas par excellence in our municipality are the natural park of Corralejo and Isleta de Los Lobos.

The Natural Park of Corralejo: includes a considerable field of dunes, a sector of bad lands and a volcanic cone (Montaña Roja).

The Malpais de la Arena Natural Monument: was created around 10,000 years ago by volcanic eruptions. Outstanding for its beauty is the volcanic cone Calderón Hondo, which has a circular base and is about 70 meters deep. It is located in an area called Mascona east of Lajares.

Monuments: Here the most outstanding feature is the monument to Miguel de Unamuno at Monte Quemada in Tindaya.

Civil architecture: The quintessential example of the civil architecture of the municipality, and almost of the island, is the building known as the Casa de los Coroneles, built in the second half of the 17th century by the Cabrera Béthencourt family.

Military architecture: The Tower of Toston, also known as the Tower of Our Lady of Pilar and San Miguel, is exceptional. It is a tower of "cheese"
