We have available a large beautifully bright upper 1 bedroom apartment of over 1,200 square feet in lovely Los Feliz.

This classic Hollywood pre-war triplex, now with updated electrical, plumbing, and central heat & air, was constructed in 1937, just one year before filming began on such masterpiece works as;

Apartment amenities include -

a wood-burning fireplace (which currently has gas logs), a service porch with washer-dryer,

Originally from the Chicago area, I've now been living in the Los Angeles area since 1977. After graduating from the University of Colorado I moved to San Francisco for about 5 years, and then re-located to Los Angeles.

Why Michael Nosek chose Los Angeles area

I am a sucker for classic architecture, and this pre-war constructed triplex was just the ticket. All the original features are still intact, and I've enjoyed upgrading all the utilities, plumbing, landscaping and accessories.

What makes this apartment unique

Spacious. Quiet. Light-filled. Well-located. And the neighborhood is a gem. I am very happy here, as are those you may meet walking their dog, pushing their strollers, or just taking a stroll solo enjoying the homes, the views and the trees.

First Time Vacation Renter

This was our first vacation rental experience. The rental worked out perfectly – great location near our son’s Los Feliz apartment, lovely street (with view of Griffith Observatory), beautiful property (photos and features matched the listing). As others have described, the apartment has wonderful features: character/charm (including Michael’s photography), ample space and storage, fantastic balcony, extremely comfortable bed, etc. (and all was neat and clean!). There were three in our party, so we also used the sofa bed in the living area. We appreciated the in-unit washer and dryer, full size dining table (for family dinner and game night), well-stocked kitchen and bath, and Michael’s helpful “suggestion book”. Street parking was easy and convenient. The security deposit was refunded immediately after our stay. We had the pleasure of meeting Michael upon arrival. He recommended a restaurant that we loved (had a delicious breakfast at Alcove Café & Bakery on Hillhurst Ave, followed by some sweet treats). We highly recommend Michael’s property and are anxious to return!!

Great Property, Great Stay

The property was very spacious and comfortable with a large balcony off the living room. In fact, the unit surpassed my expectations. This is the first time I've used this kind of alternative to a hotel and was concerned about cleanliness, but the unit, bathroom, kitchen, and kitchenware were very clean. Check-in and check-out directions were quite clear and easy. I needed a minor repair, and Michael fixed the issue immediately. The Wi-Fi was great too. I would definitely stay at the property the next time I'm in L.A.

Clean -- spotless, really -- and very well appointed. Convenient location. Easy street parking.

We couldn't have enjoyed the property more. Michael was very communicative and helpful. Bed was comfortable. Closet space was plentiful. TVs worked like a charm. As did washer and dryer. We would definitely stay there again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I left a message for Mr. Nosek that we enjoyed the bed, but being a short person (with short legs) - I am 5' 2" - it was very difficult to get in and out of the bed. Since I am on that subject - having the nightstand so low - made it difficult for me to read...to reach over and put things on the night stand...and then being able to reach them once I was in the bed.

Those were my only other issues. My husband and I are ex-military - so we traveled a lot in our youth. We enjoyed the many small (family) touches that were in the apartment. All the attention to detail was well noticed and appreciated!

We will definitely try to stay in your apartment again, upon our return to LA.

Great property in a wonderful location!

We were looking for a place to stay while visiting our son in California. We came across Michael's property and after we read the reviews we decided to book. All of the reviews are right on the mark. It is located on a beautiful quiet street, convenient to stores and local restaurants. The apartment has all of the amenities you could ask for, fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, convenient desk with Wi-Fi, & comfy bed. Not to mention beautifully furnished and clean as a pin. It was wonderful to be able to entertain our son at the house, sitting outside enjoying a glass of wine on the balcony!

We can't recommend this property enough. Michael is a great host and is very responsive to your questions.

We look forward to staying here again in the future!
