Luxury, elegant entirely renovated and fully equipped 70 sq/mt apartment with garden in the most exclusive district of Venice, one minute from the Accademia Bridge, campo Santo Stefano, and Palazzo Grassi Museum. With entrance from the private garden of 15th century Palazzo Falier and its private water taxi jetty, Canaletto Falier - with view on the private garden of Palazzo Falier and the canal Rio del Duca - has two double bedrooms and two bathrooms, a comfortable and fully furnished living room with satellite TV and internet ADSL and a fully equipped modern kitchen consolle. Canaletto Falier is finely decorated with Venetian “marmorino' and 'stucchi”, with original '1930' Venini” lamps all aver the apartment and italian marble new bathrooms. A quiet, and very elegant place in the most prestigious Venice district. On the day of your arrival and departure you can get into the apartment trough the prestigious entrance of Palazzo Falier on the Grand Canal.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this apartment. A highlight, of course, was the water taxi arrival to the Palace water door! We were greeted by Orial, who led us through the palace to our space, then showed us the apartment and how to work things and then answered some questions about restaurants, grocery stores and tourist sites. There is not much green space in Venice so we really enjoyed the garden. The outside of our building was very historic, but the interior was nicely appointed, clean and comfortable. It is very nicely located, close to the Accademia bridge but off the busy tourist track. A nice quiet retreat at the end of the day, but a comfortable walk to most of Venice's treasures
We had a problem with a door handle, contacted Giovanni and it was fixed immediately. There was some construction going on at the palace, but it didn't bother us. The workers were very considerate.
The beds were comfortable, the lighting is unique, the kitchen is compact but well stocked. The bathrooms were very nice an clean.
We would recommend this to anyone, and hope to visit again
We stayed at Canaletto for 10 days and had a comfortable visit to Venice. The location is near the Academia Bridge and two Vaporetto stops, so it is easy to get around Venice. The San Stefano Campo nearby had a variety of restaurants, grocery and wine stores. The apartment included some recent high end finishes, recently remodeled bathroom and a convenient full but compact kitchen. We spent time in the comfortable living room/kitchen looking over the garden researching sites and restaurants (and testing Italian wines!) When we asked Giovanni for help with the heater he was there and showed us how to make it work. We were not sure how he was able stop the rain when we asked but it worked for us. Having the two bedrooms and bathrooms at opposite ends of the apartment was ideal. We recommend this apartment and would stay here again.
My husband, two boys, and I all enjoyed this immaculately clean, modern, relatively spacious, and tastefully decorated apartment. The location is excellent, right near the Academia bridge which has a vaporetto (water shuttle) stop with easy access to all points on the Grand Canal. The apartment has a very nice garden complete with friendly white cat (don't know his name - we called him Blanco). In addition to checking us in and helping us with some emergency travel changes Orial gave us several excellent restaurant recommendations in less touristy locations - two of which were an easy walk (once you find your way) from the apartment. Other attractions such as the Guggenheim Museum are a relatively short walk away. Apartment has a washing machine but no dryer. The TV has English language channels. Plumbing fixtures were top quality. We would definitely stay here again. This apartment is very fairly priced for the quality of the experience. We have rented several apartments via VRBO and this was one of the best, maybe the best overall value we have had.
We stayed here for 4 nights and really couldn't fault it. On the outside it fits in with the surrounding Venetian style but it is very modern and clean on the inside. Had everything you could need and the location was superb. 2 minute walk into Campo Santa Stefano for the local restaurants and bars and only 10-15 mins walk to both the Rialto Bridge and St.Marks square. Most places accessible by foot but only a short walk to the Vaparetto stops if you are going further afield. I would also like to say both Giovanni and Orial were extremely helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend this apartment to anyone wishing to stay in Venice.
Fabulous location. Water limo from airport dropped us off right at the apartment. Right next to canal water taxi stop. Fifteen minute walk to San Marco Square.
Apartment was very clean and well stocked. New room air conditioners were a blessing during the hot, muggy days. Having a washer saved us from carrying extra clothing. I would definitely stay here again.
My only suggestion would be regular towels(not linen) and a shower curtain in the bathroom with a tub to facilitate taking a shower.
We spent four nights at this fantastic apartment and our advice is that if you get a chance to stay- do not miss it. Arriving by water taxi is a must ( although expensive) just for the experience. The apartment is deceptively modern with everything you need.Orial and Giovanni were very efficient and full of good ideas ( buy the 7 day ,54 euro pass fot the vaporeto, and this gives unlimited use of the water bus and includes the fare back to the airport!). Very central and easy to get to all parts of Venice from here. Our children are 12 and 10 and loved it- especially the WI-FI. We had absolutely no problems at all and would certainly book this again.Thank you Orial and Giovanni- hopefully see you again!
Few steps away from Campo Santo Stefano, 200 metres from Palazzo Grassi Museum, one minute walk from the Accademia Bridge, 5 minutes away from the Fenice Theatre... and hundreds of other important amenities, Canaletto Falier is located right in the middle of the art, exhibitions, galleries and antiquarian district, in the most exclusive area where to live and stay in Venice. Restaurants, wine bars, “Old Baccari” and typical “trattoria” are all around the corner, but you also have grocery, pharmacy, fruit and vegetables floating market near Ca' Rezzonico, and mini market store all at 2 minutes walk! To reach the apartment, you walk 2 minutes from San Samuele Vaporetto or, for your check-in and check-out, you can arrive with a water taxi and use the private entrance on the Canal Grande’s prestigious Palazzo Falier.
