About Rachel Wastnage
David and Rachel have lived in Cley Next the Sea since 2009 and have been running the barn as a holiday rental since 2010. David works as a Fund manager and lives in London during the week, while Rachel is Marketing Manager for a local property development company in Holt; so one of them is usually on hand should you need anything. Between them they have 6 children aged between 25 and 17- Grace, Josie, Oliver, William, Henry and Eve - so their lives are kept very busy. The whole family loves the North Norfolk coastal area, so it really does appeal to all ages.

A beautiful barn in a wonderful location, close to amenities and excellent walks.
The barn is perfect for a relaxing break and exploring Norfolk.
The facilities are excellent and the welcome pack adds a lovely touch to your stay.
Rachel was very prompt and accommodating in answering any queries that we had.
Amazing: gorgeous property, great location
The barn is amazing! It’s beautiful, very well appointed, comfortable and in a great location for local walks. The central living area has plenty of space and was perfect for our party of five adults. The fire was a great addition to a cold May Bank holiday weekend and the barn was very cosy! Rachel was an excellent host with quick and very helpful communications from booking to departure. Many thanks!

Beautiful barn - with a host who had thought of everything!
A really beautiful barn, dressed to perfection; in a perfect location with seriously comfy beds; well stocked kitchen and it smelled wonderful to boot. Rachel is a perfect host, she is there is you need her but makes a real point of not intruding. I could not or would not want to find fault and cannot wait to go back and visit again. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality. Cheers Martin, Helen, Oscar and of course Teddy.

Amazing house in great location
The pictures really don't do it justice! The main living room is huge but it retains a really nice homely feel with the fantastic bookcase with lots of great books. The location is perfect, two pubs in village plus deli and only a short walk to next village with more pubs! Owners on hand throughout - thoughtful and friendly they left a wonderful welcome hamper with wine and biscuits. We would definitely go back.
Thank you so much for your kind review and we're so pleased you enjoyed your stay with us. We try to make our guests stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible and it's very rewarding to hear good feedback. We look forward to seeing you again in the future.
