Lovely studio apartment in residential area. 15 minutes from the beach

Spacious ground floor studio apartment in Saltillo near El Pinillo with 2 pools, garden, summer bar and tennis court. Situated just off the main road surrounded with lots of local bars with lovely tapas, a variety of restaurants and 2 large supermarkets. Close to Benalmadena Marina and Arroyo de la Miel. 15 mins drive from Malaga airport or 20 mins by train. No car is necessary. Local train station (El Pinillo) 5 minutes walk. Taxi rank 1 minute walk. Beach 15 mins walk. Inside the studio there are 2 sofa beds ideal for a couple, or a family with 2 young children. There is street parking available for those with a car. Wifi available for a small fee. English TV. Tivoli world and Benalmadena Marina are nearby offering lots of shows, performances and entertainment throughout the year. Aquapark in Torremolinos just 5 mins drive away as well as a Crocodile Park next door to it. Another big attraction is the cable car near Tivoli world offering you fantastic views of the whole of the Costa del Sol. Take a train to Malaga Central to explore the history and beauty of one of the oldest cities in the world. Paloma Park is also another must to visit with a animal and bird sanctuary including peacocks and emus just 300m from the beach. There is a playground too for the kids so take a picnic and enjoy a day out! So there is something for everyone, whether it be a relaxing beach holiday or sightseeing it is all within easy reach from the apartment. An ideal budget holiday rental.

lovely place

We only stayed 4 nights. Let's start with the positives. This studio apartment was really clean and spacious. There is everything you could need on arrival including a bottle of wine in the fridge. Lots of storage. The view of the pools is also very nice. Our only negative is the bed. It is a put you up bed which was not the most comfortable. Just a slight rejig maybe swap the bed with the table and chairs you would easily get in a proper bed then there would be no way this apartment would be less than 100%. The pools were well maintained and clean. Myself as a disabled person managed to get into the pool which I haven't in the past in some 4* hotels so this was a massive bonus for me. There is a bar on site who also provides English breakfasts which are lovely. Everyone who met us and helped us were a God send and helped make our stay great. Communications with the agent and the apartment owner was fab replied right away to any queries/questions. I would definitely recommend this studio for your holiday.

I nice studio apartment, in a well looked after complex, in a great location

On arrival I was met by Clare in reception, who handed over the keys and showed me around the apartment, she had also left us a bottle of cava in the fridge for my wife's birthday (nice touch). The apartment is ideal for 2 peaople, and could probably house a young family at a push. The apartment was very clean and the bathroom and kitchen area seemed fairly new. The grounds were also well taken care of with nice gardens, pool and bar area. As for the location it is about a 10 minute walk down the beach where you can turn right to Benalmadema Harbour which is excellent or turn left into torremolinos, which is has a great selection of bars and restaurants. It's also worth mentioning the train station is only 5 mins walk away, which makes it easy to visit several town along the coast. Summing up, its is a great apartment in a nice area at a good price and I would not think twice about booking again.

Car: not necessary

Close by is Benalmadena Marina and Selwo marine and zoo, also Tivoli world is a huge theme attraction with lots of shows and performances every evening. Cable car and Aqualand are a must too! The Malaga feria is held every year in August (dates vary) and is a great day out for fun and music entertainment. Easy to get there by train.
