Located 1km from the Ria Formosa beach and white sand beaches

An ideal accommodation for groups and families on vacation together….A newly renovated and spacious 11 bedroom villa with two private pools and gardens with sea views situated just 1 km from the river and beaches belonging to the Ria Formosa nature reserve.

There is a large lawn area on the south side of the villa, with a spacious cobbled patio and table tennis table, surrounding the pools and parking area. A small front garden with lawn and palm trees sets the property off the quiet roadside. An external patio with decking is located just outside the lounge and dining room. At the end of the garden is an outdoor barbeque area near to a pretty jasmine-scented pergola with dining facilities

The first floor has 5 bedrooms and the second floor has 4 bedrooms, each of these 9 bedrooms has air conditioning, an en suite bathroom, with a small fridge, and a television.

The third floor has 2 bedrooms with a double and 2 single beds and a bathroom. The ground floor has a large lounge and dining area leading from the fully equipped kitchen. Next to the lounge is a games room. There is another lounge on the first floor level with a comfortable seating area and TV with Wii games console and a DVD player. There is wireless internet access and air conditioning throughout.

It is possible to rent part of the villa, including ground floor and first floor comprising 5 en suite bedrooms which can sleep up to 10 persons, two living rooms, dining room, kitchen and gardens and pools. Each extra bedroom is charged accordingly. Please enquire for pricing.

There are two swimming pools at Quinta do Pedro, a larger 12 m x 4.5 m pool with steps leading into a shallow end of 1.3 m and a deep end of 2.2m. Beside which is a round childrens pool with a diameter of 3.6 m with a depth of 0.50 m throughout. Both are freshwater pools with Chlorine cleaning system. The pools are serviced twice weekly during summer and once weekly during the rest of the year by a competent and reliable professional. Pool and garden lighting is available.

We also can recommend bicycle hire as a very suitable form of transport for this location as nearby towns, villages and beaches are accessible by a good network of bicycle and pedestrian paths. Please enquire for our price list for bicycle hire with home delivery and collection.

There will be some toilet paper and soap for arrivals and a hamper of beverages, with additional breakfast and snacks are provided for late arrivals.

Guests will be met at the villa, or otherwise informed where to locate the key and visited soon after arrival. We ensure a prompt and competent service from a team of property managers, who can be contacted at anytime.

All families had a great time and were very happy with the space in functionality, comfort and cleaning of the house. The neighbourhood was really calm.

The only surprise was the two top rooms as we were not counting that we could not use it. No big problem for us as we were just missing beds for two kids and that was easy to accommodate in the other bedrooms. But maybe it would be good to suggest to the owner to install air conditioning also in that room.

Overall everyone had a great time and your service was also excellent and very "user-friendly". Thank you :)

Brilliant!

Lovely villa. Two brilliant family holidays spent there over the last 2 summers.

Weather beautiful. Villa and pool lovely. Management very helpful any problems during our stay were sorted quickly.

The villa itself has been spotless on both occasions rooms perfect. Kitchen is fully stocked with wine glasses cutlery plates etc. If the kitchen was bigger then the place would be perfect. It can be difficult to cook for over 20 in it at times but that is the one and only improvement. The extra fridge this year was brilliant for our cold beers.

The area is quiet and a car is recommended to get your shopping and travel further a field. There are two bars within walking distance, full of locals and good to people watch and the beer is cheap!

There is an excellent train service running the length of the whole algarve which always runs on time and is a five minute walk from Quinto dos Pedro. Visit Tavira it's beautiful. Hire bikes and bird watch on the Ria Formosa. Don't waste your money on water parks -expensive and hot! We took our paddle board down to the sea much more fun and free.

The holiday was perfect for a large extended family aging from 0 to 62 and the best times we had we just in the villa by the pool enjoying each other's company!

Ideal place for big groups

We enjoyed our stay here as a group of 5 families. 9 bedrooms were very similar size, each with aircon, ensuite and electric shutters. The 2 attic rooms had no air-con and a shared bathroom.

There are several communal areas throughout the villa, though the most used was on the 1st floor where the wi-fi worked best.

I would definitely recommend this property, the only negatives being the small kitchen and the wi-fi coverage.

If you stay here, you must try the Cuban tapas around the corner :-)

An ideal accommodation for groups and families on vacation together….A newly renovated and spacious 11 bedroom villa with two private pools and gardens with sea views situated just 1 km from the river and beaches belonging to the Ria Formosa nature reserve.

The location is a rural and tranquil area which leads down to the river and coast. Ideal for cycling and walking along pedestrian and cycle paths linking the coastal villages and towns along the Algarve.

Located in the Ria Formosa Nature Reserve, fantastic white sand beaches are just a stones’ throw away. Not all beaches are accessible without a boat. At the riverside in Arroteia there are fishermen who will ferry people over and when the tide is out it is possible to cross the river by foot. The beaches in this area are like desert islands, havens for wildlife and hardly visited by tourists. There are more easily accessible beaches in Fuzeta and Santa Luzia, which are reached by either ferry, miniature train or on foot.

Golf: There are excellent golf courses within 8km to 10km from the accommodation. The closest is in Colina Verde and a little further are Benamor, Quinta da Ria and Quinta da Cima, Monte Rei.

Notes:
Plenty of quality sun loungers deck the terrace around the pool and there are sun umbrellas, tables and chairs available. We can provide cots and high chairs. Please let us know how many are required and if you have any other requirements. There are many stairs in this property and no bedroom on the same level as the kitchen, lounge and dining room. A good tarmac road accesses to the property, leading from a main road. The location is a rural and tranquil area which leads down to the river and coast. Ashtrays are provided for smoking outside the property only. Due to the possibility of guests being allergic to animal hair, we would rather not allow pets. Arrivlals are flexible, though we aim to keep bookings as close as possible. Departure is by 10am and arrival is from 2pm unless otherwise arranged. We provide a once weekly linen and bathroom towel change including a clean of the bathrooms.
