Casa Elfriede is offered for holiday lets as a large detached villa which accommodates 9 + 2 children. For smaller groups either the lower poolside apartment or the upper sea view apartment is available. The upper sea view apartment can accommodate 5 + 1 child and the lower poolside apartment can accommodate 4 + 1 child. Rest assured that only one apartment is occupied at any time whilst the remaining apartment will stay unoccupied and locked, thus ensuring your privacy during your stay. Both the upper and poolside levels of Casa Elfriede each provide individual self-contained apartments, the whole villa is ideal for a large family or more than one family or friends wishing to holiday together. Please note that external steps link the upper and lower levels and therefore the two levels are not linked internally.
Casa Elfriede whole villa sleeps 9 + 2 children. The upper level comfortably sleeps 5 + 1 child and consists of two double and one single bedroom. The poolside apartment sleeps 4 +1 and comprises one double and one twin bedroom. An additional z-bed will need to be hired in at a small additional cost to sleep a 6th child on the upper level and a 5th child on the lower level.
The private 8 x 4 metre swimming pool has both a step ladder and roman steps leading into it. The depth of the pool is 1.9 metres in the deep end and 0.8 metres in the shallow end. The garden/patio area includes sun loungers, a poolside shower, purpose built BBQ area with gas BBQ.
There are two additional terraced areas one of which provides shelter from the hot summer sun by an ivy covered pergola and both areas contain patio furniture. The remaining surrounding area includes mature, well maintained gardens.
Parking is available at the end of the cul-de-sac adjacent to the villa entrance. Access to the lower poolside apartment is via a set of steps leading down either side of the property to the main pool and poolside terrace area.

Local supermarkets, shops and café bars are just a 3 minute drive away and Moraira town with its sandy beach, castle, many restaurants, bars, shops, pretty marina and all amenities is a 5 minute drive by car (approx. 3 kms).
All rooms offer window mosquito screens and persiannas and each apartment is air conditioned.
The televisions on both levels both have free to view European satellite channels, including French, German, Austrian and limited English news/Eurosport channels. British Sky card holders can bring their own pay-to-view cards which may possibly enable them to receive additional channels.
There is a separate utility room which services the whole villa with free standing clothes airers and there is a rotary drier available on the side patio area.
Casa Elfriede’s spacious upper level boasts a large glassed naya area with superb sea, mountain and pool views below. There are roman blinds fitted to all windows in the naya and a dining table and plenty of seating in which to relax and enjoy the view.
The upper level sleeps 5 + 1 child in two spacious double bedrooms and a further single bedroom, a fold down bed can be hired in for the 6th child. All bedrooms have window mosquito screens and the two double bedrooms and lounge all have wall mounted air conditoning units.
The light and airy lounge comprises sofa seating, a mini hi fi system and a TV with German, Austrian and French channels and limited English news channels and Eurosport.
The spacious master bedroom has a European style double bed (two single size mattresses) and a large en-suite shower room. A patio door with venetian blinds connects the master bedroom to the naya area.
A large family bathroom comprises a bath with a wall-mounted shower, wc, hand basin.
A well size kitchen includes a breakfast bar, additional access to the naya via a patio door, fridge freezer, halogen hob, bench top convection oven, dishwasher, coffee maker and toaster.
Laundry facilities can be found in a separate laundry room on the lower floor.
The lower poolside apartment offers one double and one twin bedded room to sleep 4 + 1 child in total, although there would be sufficient space in bedroom 2 for a cot or an additional ‘Z’ bed can be hired in for use by a 5th child.
The entrance to the apartment leads directly from the pool terrace into the lounge which includes an air conditioning unit, soft sofa/chair seating, dining room table and chairs for 4 people.
There is a double bedroom and a twin bedded room which includes double wardrobes, bedside tables and drawer space.
The first bedroom boasts a pool view.
The bathroom comprises a bath with wall mounted shower, WC, hand basin and bidet.
The kitchenette is fully equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, twin sink and electric hob/cooker.
All rooms offer window mosquito blinds and persiannas and an hot/cold air conditioning unit is situated in the lounge/kitchen area which adequately services the entire apartment.

Great villa spent with family for my Mums 50th birthday. Big pool which had the sun all day. Unfortunately the pool was out of action for 2 days (which happened to be when the heatwave hit Spain) but we didn't let it ruin our holiday. Great and stunning location but highly recommend a car due to the very steep hills. If looking for a day out check out the AV go karting about a 5 min drive from the villa. Also Javea has a great selection of restaurants about a 10 min drive.
The property was as described. It was clean, ever
we enjoyed our stay. The property worked well, beds were comfortable, views great, everything clean and just ready to use. The listing description was accurate and we were delighted.
It was well maintained. There was a problem with the pool filtration system towards the end of our stay - we were a little uneasy about the help given with this. It wasn't a major problem but we felt uneasy about using the pool on our last day - a very hot day.
A few more chairs in the lounge would be a help. The pool filtration stopped working towards the end.
I would recommend the property. But a car is essential. In the heat of summer the beach in not walking distance away. Plenty of Restaurants in Morairia, we tended to go further afield. I liked the area and the views, my husband felt it was too remote. Terra Mitica in Benedorm was good, wine making places, we visited Valencia, Denia and didn't like Calpe..too commercialised.
The local " club" was good and the local shops helpful. Cap D Ore was delightful. Enjoyed BBQ and outside eating and relaxing. Thank you for the Villa
La maison correspondait exactement à ce dont nous nous attendions. si elle n'est pas des plus "moderne" elle est par contre parfaitement fonctionnelle, et nous y avons passé un trés bon moment. l'entretient de la piscine est régulier et Allan est à l'écoute du moindre problème.
Contra: voiture indispensable car située en hauteur, le moindre déplacement est pénible. Les containeurs à poubelles sont loin, donc les sacs doivent être chargés dans le coffre....
Moraira is situated in the North of the Alicante province on the Costa Blanca - the East coast of Spain. Approx 1 hours drive from Alicante airport and a further 20 minutes to Valencia airport. The development in the area is mostly privately-owned villas with no holiday package hotels whatsoever. Nearly all the properties are owned by Northern Europeans either as retirement or holiday homes and are spread over quite a substantial area. Not far inland the area is dominated by rugged mountains, cut by deep valleys and fertile plains which provide an impressive backdrop to the coastal landscape. Benidorm is around a 30 minute drive away where you will find great activities for the children, including Aqualandia Water Park, Terramitica (Spain's answer to Disneyland) and Mundomar (sea world)

Golf: There are upwards of 12 golf courses on the Costa Blanca and 4 within easy reach of Moraira. All are affiliated to the Spanish Federation and consequently can validate members handicap internationally. All have golf clubs for hire and most, if not all can provide coaching. Cub de Golf ‘IIfach ’ No of Holes: 9 Par: 60. The Club de Golf Ifach course is situated on the coast road between Moraira and Calpe on the San Jaime Urbanisation in Benissa, hence surrounding views of the most prestigious properties in the area, set in a beautiful fertile valley with distant scenes of Calpe’s D’Ifach rock and sparkling blue Mediterranean sea. Club de Golf Javea No of Holes: 9 Par: 72. Situated between Moraira and Javea, this all year course is slightly longer and quite flat, easier to play and not so tiring in the hot summer sun. It has been attractively landscaped around the greens and also benefits from a putting green, driving range, club bar and restaurant, heated swimming pool, tennis and squash courts. Club de Golf La Sella - No of Holes: 18, Par: 72. On the back-road between Javea and Denia, situated inland near the area of Jesus Pobre, this course was opened in 1991 and designed to use ‘all the clubs in the bag’. Although almost totally flat it has many trees and water obstacles (canals and lakes which provide the irrigation).
