You will be very comfortable in Casa Cuatro at Lauro Golf.

It is a modern, spacious Spanish townhouse on four floors. It is built to a very high standard with full air conditioning (heating and cooling); marble floors; marble worktops; double glazing; burglar alarm, fully fitted kitchen with modern appliances. It has everything you need for a short break, a holiday or long-term rental. One couple stayed for 22 months!

It has two en-suite bedrooms, it sleeps four in great comfort and there are comfortable sleeping arrangements for two more persons in the Torreon (tower room). It has a large lounge dining area with a 47 inch flat screen TV which receives 90 TV channels and 16 Radio stations that British people are familiar with. It has a DVD player and a good selection of DVDs.

The lounge leads through to the patio and on to the garden which adjoins the golf course.

Please email me for golf course and aerial photographs and my 19 page ‘Introduction to Spanish’. It’s always appreciated when you speak some Spanish; this will get you through most situations.


The accommodation is freshly prepared for your arrival. The welcome pack emailed to you includes directions from the airport and some Spanish driving tips. Our key holders will meet you at the property; give you your keys, make sure you get in safely, show you how to use the alarm system and answer any queries.

Casa Cuatro appeals to everyone who likes to experience the fascinating, real Spain and not just the coastal strip promoted by tour companies. This is ‘front-line golf’ living in a countryside setting with all the amenities at hand. The clubhouse – 200 years old and with plenty of history – is a sunny Spanish patio for alfresco dining. It is open to non-golfers from early morning to early evening and provides a good selection of tapas and bar meals.

BAR LA RISA – just walk past the clubhouse, this English-run bar welcomes children and has food and drink throughout the day, quiz nights, curry nights, happy hour.


The Guadalhorce Valley, a rural area of outstanding beauty, is the main area for tourism and leisure in Andalucía. Its towns and villages faithfully preserve the old traditions, such as the Carnival and Semana Santa (Easter), in a characteristic setting of whitewashed houses.


Lauro Equestrian Centre, clay pigeon shooting, cycling, Sea World, Tivoli World Fun Park, Benalmádena Marina and Crocodile Park.


If shopping is your thing then there’s a huge selection: Marbella, Puerto Banús, La Cañada, La Trocha, and Plaza Mayor all within easy commuting distance.


There is a huge variety of restaurants in the local area offering Spanish, Chinese, German, Indian cuisine.

The local ventas (restaurants) offer a menu of the day for 6€ which includes a bottle of wine for the table! Have lunch about 1.30pm and enjoy the excitement of a Spanish lunchtime.

At Casa Cuatro you’ll be in the beautiful Spanish countryside and you don’t need to be a golfer to appreciate the immediate surroundings either.

Why David Jones chose Malaga area (Costa del Sol)

We believe we have the ideal property for families and friends wanting to rent a house for a holiday. We have 2 comfortable sized bedrooms, both en-suite, and our licence permits us to have 6 guests in total because we have another room for 2 more persons. Take a look at our reviews and you will see how comfortable our guests have been. The house is a short walk to the facilities of the Lauro 27 Resort, so it’s ideally placed, too. Winters can be chilly at night and summers can be hot. We have full air conditioning in the lounge, dining room and in both bedrooms. We have ceiling fans in both bedrooms too, so despite the heat in high summer you'll still be able to sleep at night. For the winter we have a log-burning fire to keep you warm. It's a modern fire with an automatic sensor and fan to blow clean warm air into the lounge. We provide olive logs for our winter guests. If you've lit the fire and you go outside you'll be able to appreciate the wonderful smell of the olive wood burning; but not in the house as all the smoke goes up the chimney. Relaxing is the aim of most of our guests and we have a 3 burner gas BBQ so you can spend as much time outdoors as you like. If you're a golfer, the short walk to the practice green, driving range, clubhouse and first tee will be appreciated. Lauro Golf is an exceptionally well maintained course open all year round and it can reach 22C in January so that's very welcome if you live in Northern Europe. If you're not a golfer there's so much more to do and see and at Casa Cuatro you'll be very well placed to see it.

What makes this house unique

Stay here and you'll be inside the quiet seclusion of a premier Golf Course with no through traffic. That is what the residents of Urbanización Lauro Golf and our guests value most. And yet you're a 3 minute walk to a choice of 2 Bar Restaurants, the golf clubhouse, padel tennis and a bus stop. In 10 minutes you can be in one of 2 towns with all the amenities of modern life. In 25 minutes you can be on the beach and experience the Chirringitos (fish restaurants) unique to this part of the world. To venture further afield the nearest motorway connection is 12 minutes away and it's a similar distance to the nearest railway station which will take you the short journey to Málaga and then you can explore much further afield with Spain's impressive AVE high speed trains.

  • Both bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms. They are spacious with full-sized fitted wardrobes and have ample storage for personal items. They are air-conditioned and have ceiling fans to keep you cool on hot summer nights. The master bedroom has a DVD player, a sofa bed and, with two full-length windows, is a very pleasant, airy place to relax. It overlooks the first tee and beyond to the clubhouse and the magnificent backdrop of the Sierra de Mijas - the mountain range that separates the Guadalhorce Valley from the Mediterranean - a delightful view to wake up to. The second bedroom overlooks the wide Avenida General Caffarena - the private thoroughfare of the urbanization - and beyond to the fifth fairway and then across the Guadalhorce Valley. Both bedrooms are air conditioned with double glazing and ceiling fans to keep you warm in the winter and cool in the summer. They have the same high quality marble floors present throughout the house.

Excellent villa, clean, tidy, spacious, lovely surroundings, fantastic villa for a family holiday.

We had a wonderful time staying at this villa. It slept our family of 6 easily with spacious bedrooms 2 of which were en suite.

The kitchen was very clean and had every item that you would require. The living area is spacious with British TV which kept our 3 year old entertained. We used the garden area the most which overlooked the first hole of the golf course which was accessed through the living area.

The pool area although a very small walk away was as expected and a lovely place to spend the afternoon.

The people in the golf club reception and the owners of the British restaurant could not have been more helpful, even offering to take us to the wedding we were invited to - the reason for our stay.

If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing holiday you cannot go wrong here.

Perfect location and a beautiful house

This was the second trip to this house, and like the first time it was perfect, the contact with the owners is very easy and feels like you know them for quit a long time. The golfcourse and the staff are amazing. We love to come back. David thanks for everything.

Excellent apartment in Malaga

We enjoyed our stay tremendously. The place is very well maintained. We were received by a couple, who gave us our keys and a lot of good information. They had a bottle of Cava and milk in the fridge.

The outside terrace that looks to the golf course was excellent. Very relaxing and good for enjoying a glass of wine after a day of sightseeing.

The location was very good, easy to find and about 15 minutes from the center of Malaga, close to autovias, which made it easy to use as a base for visiting Granada, Cordoba and Ronda.

Very clean, very well furnished,with good cable TV programing. You could believe that you were in the UK.

Highly recommended and would definitely return.

I have only good things to say about David and his house. He was an excellent host, and his home is fantastic. His home is big, clean, spacious, comfortable and beautiful. David was also attentive to all our needs all through our trip. The deposit was returned fast as well. Without a doubt I recomment this house to everyone and Ill be sure to come back. Lauro Golf is a very attractive and safe urbanisation INSIDE a golf course in the Spanish countryside off the main road with no through traffic.

It is ideal for those who like to rest on holiday in a tranquil location with the assurance of good weather and yet have easy access to mountains, beaches and shopping.


Casa Cuatro overlooks the first tee, the pitching and putting green and the Clubhouse. From the solarium and the master bedroom there are stunning views down the first fairway and across to the Sierra de Mijas.

From the second bedroom and the terrace you look across the wide Avenida, the fifth fairway and down to the Guadalhorce Valley. In the distance you can see the Sierra Nevada (snow covered in winter), the bay of Málaga and the airport.


It is a ten minute drive to supermarkets, post office, bars, restaurants, shops, banks, doctor, dentist and all the facilities and services you would expect from a modern European town.

The ski station is a two hour drive on the A-7 and A-44 motorways; follow Granada and then 'Estación de Ski'. There are two principal areas: Borreguiles has the ski schools, cable car stations and main ski lifts; Pradollano is the ski village, with hotels, restaurants and shops. There is an active nightlife in the resort, from small intimate tapas bars to larger, international restaurants, catering for all budgets and culinary tastes. It’s worth visiting the attractions in Granada city.
