I grew up in California and came to Colorado for camp and eventually for school with my twin sister. I have lived here ever since and love Colorado. The house is lovely and has everything one needs for a long stay. Perfectly located, close to downtown (but not too close, which is good), walking distance from Larimer street (up and coming street filled with cool restaurants and the Denver Central Market)...

Why stay any place else? This is the best!
This is a perfect place to stay - walking distance to many places - so convenient. The little cottage is extremely roomy and very clean.Upon arrival, there is a welcome gift and a booklet that tells many places to eat and things to do.The Dunbar Tap and Kitchen, Rosenberg's Bagels, Pastry shop, Coffee Shop all within a short walk. We enjoyed downtown many times, visited the Art Museum, the Zoo, baseball games, played golf, ate at many great restaurants as well as Trucks (food) in the Park, and just relaxed in our little cottage.We had all the conveniences in this place as we would at home. Bill was always available. We tell all our friends who might go to Denver to stay there. Because it's so great, we stay there every year. We can't recommend this place highly enough.
Feeling comfortable like at a real cottage & very close to downtown Denver
Staying at Bill's cottage house was a great opportunity for me and my wife to discover Denver and its history. Five Points district is quiet, very charming, green, with some visible historical tradition (old architecture). One of biggest Denver public parks is just 20 min walk, also the City Center is very close. The cottage house has everything what is needed to feel like at home (a big dining table was our favourite place to sit for slow food breakfasts) , the kitchen equipment is full range to cook and prepare everything you want.
The host was very responsive and helped us with all (minor) problems on the way. We strongly recommend Bill's place to any traveler who would like to stay close to the pulse of City life but also have a quiet escape place.

Perfect rental for two people. Very clean and comfortable with everything you would need. Easy access to downtown and 16th street mall. Great location in quiet neighborhood literally seemed "10 minutes from everywhere". Thank you Bill, we would love to stay at your place again on visit to Denver.
Charming, Homey Cottage
We loved Bill's sweet, charming cottage! The place is decorated and furnished perfectly to make one feel immediately at home. We were there for a business meeting at the convention center and were very grateful of the necessities (hair dryer, coffee pot, ironing board, etc) he provided. We used the light rail every day we were there and never missed having our own car. (However: late at night the rail only runs about once an hour, so be prepared to either wait patiently or just walk the entire way home from downtown, which we did a couple times.) The bed was extremely comfortable, the gas heat warms the entire house very quickly which us southerners appreciated, and Bill himself is extremely kind and generous, quick to reply, and ready to help in any way. We highly recommend staying in his lovely home, and will stay there again if we ever find ourselves in Denver again!
This downtown Denver Cottage is located 5 blocks from downtown. Many resturants and bars to choose from within walking distance. Museums, and theater within walking distance. Light rail access within two blocks and freeway access within 2 miles. Coors Field and the 16th Street Mall within walking distance. Take a leisurely stroll (6 blocks) to the Historic Brown Palace Hotel for a cocktail at the Ship's Tavern before a night out at Denver's 16th Street Mall or Larimer Square. Conveniently located within walking distance to the newly rennovated St. Joseph's Hospital. Close to the National Western Stock Show Arena!
