Very quiet with quick access to beach and town centre. Modern open-plan living/dining room/ kitchen. Free internet access. Flat screen TV/DVD. Well-equipped kitchen includes oven, ceramic glass hob, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave/grill, fridge-freezer, kettle, raclette set, food mixer, toaster and coffee-making. One bedroom with double-bed, one with twin beds, both with built-in wardrobes. Bathroom has shower-screen. Separate WC. Dining table and chairs. Balcony with furniture and lovely views. Secure underground parking and locked bicycle storage (Bike and Car-Hire closeby). Quiet river walks and fishing to rear of apartment. Bicycle lanes to town and sea. 2 Golf courses within 10 minute drive. Ideal for Golfing breaks with Normandy Golf pass. Horse-riding stables/Pony Club opposite. Boules pitch, Skate park and BMX Track within walking distance. Karting, Paintball/Tennis/ Squash and assorted water sports closeby. Supermarket 700m. Town has several excellent restaurants, shops and bakeries. Tourist information office.

About Nicole and Chris Vicary

We bought the apartment from new and took the keys in 2009. Nicole is French and her family come from the area. We have always loved Cabourg with it's beautiful promenade and bustle of holidaymakers and 'weekenders' but the location is so quiet with lovely walks round the Divette. If we could move from the UK and all the nasty work we'd do it tomorrow although our twin sons Lucas and Benjamin might have an opinion on that!! They have frequently sailed and joined beach clubs etc and they really love the peace and quiet of the apartment with the town life close by as much as we do.

Why Nicole and Chris Vicary chose Caen area

We wanted a brand new apartment with very low maintenance in a quiet spot with secure underground parking and a private balcony. Although we don't have the largest apartment by a long way, we're one of only 4 with this feature. We also didn't want to be in the centre of town but close enough to walk easily to it and to the fantastic beach.

What makes this apartment unique

We love the privacy, the ease of parking underground, the feeling of space you get in the open plan kitchen/dining/lounge area and the peace and quiet. It's so quiet we usually sleep up to nine hours a night! But when we need a little livening up...we've got about 30 restaurants, bars and the best beach and promenade in Normandy a 10 minute walk away

Great Apartment in a Great Location

We spent a lovely few days in this perfect apartment. It is modern, well equipped, and in excellent condition and the rooms are a good size. We enjoyed lunch on the little balcony and the wifi worked well. The apartment is in a quiet location but only a 10 minute walk form the beautiful sandy beach and the pretty village of Cabourg where we found some lovely restaurants and cafes. This area has so much history and has so many pretty villages to explore. We loved our visits to Deauville, Trouville and Honfleur. The owners were very helpful and we would absolutely recommend this property.

A perfect weekend

Immaculate , nicely appointed , comfortable , lovely setting , very peaceful location but perfectly located via an easy short walk to town - the beach , shops and great restaurants . A wonderful locality from which to explore this amazing part of Normandy - from local markets , war museums , the Bayeux Tapestry or just driving looking at the fantastic architecture . Would absolutely recommend to anyone .

l'appartement est très fonctionnel, très propre, décoré sobrement mais avec goût

nous avons eu l'impression d'être chez nous dès l'arrivée .

l'environnement est très calme et le petit balcon permet de profiter d'une vue sur un petit cours d'eau

Nous le recommandons et espérons qu'il restera aussi agréable et propre

Les plages de la région sont grandes et les enfants peuvent en profiter

Excellent sejour

Nous sommes ravies de notre séjour à Cabourg dans cet appartement si agréable, décoré avec goût et où l on se sentait comme chez soi. De plus, trés bien situé (12 mns de marche) dans cette petite ville qui a tant de charme, tant par ses commerces et restaurants que par sa magnifique promenade du bord de mer. Le soleil à été présent pratiquement toute la semaine, ce qui bien sûr fut trés appréciable. Excellente adresse à recommander.

Great apartment in a great town.

The apartment is really well set up for a family who wants to get away and enjoy Normandy. The apartment had all the facilities you would expect - the kitchen is fitted out to a very high standard, internet access is available and the bedrooms are a good size. We found it very clean and airy and the location was really great. Only a 10 minute walk from the centre of Cabourg. Cabourg has lots of lovely restaurants and a sandy beach. It is also a good location to explore Normandy - we spent a few days visiting Caen, Bayeux, Honfleur, Deauville and a few other smaller towns. We had a wonderful time and would love to go back again.

Our holiday

We had a great stay in this lovely modern flat. The flat was extremely clean, very well equipped and well maintained. It was good to have free internet access. The owner provided excellent customer service and advice. Cabourg is a pretty town with a lovely beach and lots of good restaurants all within walking distance to the flat. We would definitely recommend this property.

Located in the heart of the lovely Calvados region, the picturesque town of Cabourg boasts the best beach in Normandy, beautiful walks, numerous restaurants, the Cabourg Casino, golf, tennis, squash and horse-riding, with the famous Cabourg racecourse closeby and with the magnifcent town of Deauville a 30 minute drive away. Several villages of outstanding natural beauty and the fabulous 'Cider Route' are within a few kilometres. The historic WW2 beaches are within easy reach as are the ancient towns of Honfleur, Bayeaux and Rouen. Road routes are superb and Paris is under 2 hours by car. One of France's favourite family resorts with pleasant walks along Europe's longest promenade, Cabourg caters for all water sports. The town can be reached easily by car, ferry, plane and train and is a 3 hour drive from Calais. Numerous festivals, including films and books take place all year round. Cabourg offers a peaceful and relaxing holiday, but with activities for all ages and interests.
