Playa San Juan belongs to the municipality of Guia de Isora. It is a small fishing town in the south of the Isle of Tenerife. it is a very quiet place, but it has all the services and facilities you need to have a pleasant stay (restaurants, supermarkets, chemistry, medical centre, taxi rank, bus stop,...). 5 kilometres away, the five star Hotel Abama is located, where you can practise golf in one of the most spectacular courses throughout the isle of Tenerife. You will alse be able to eat in the only one restaurant which has been awarded with a Michellin Star, and it is places in the aforementioned hotel. It also has a marvellous spa to rest after an intensive taking part in different activities. a nice promanade goes around the village being able to enjoy a lovely ticipal canarian meal in the lovely terraces. A few metres for the apartment there is a diving club and also hire a kayak in one of the mos impressive cliffs you would contemplate ever: Los Gigantes
Dave Thomas contributed more than 50 years experience to create the Abama golf course, nowadays considered one of his most important achievement. the golf course is over 6,271 metres with 22 lakes connected by impressive waterfalls, white sand bunkers and 25,000 palmtrees. the highest point of the golf course is 315 metres above the sea level and most of the holes with spectacular sea views of the Atlantic and Tthe Gomera Island.
