I am the property manager/leasing agent for several vacation rentals. I do take great pride in this listing and my guests do appreciate this since this property does have a 5 Star rating. Come have a 5 Star experience at this upscale home in the exclusive uptown region of New Orleans
The neighborhood was very cute with tons of wonderful restaurants around the corner. It seemed very safe, and much cleaner than any other part of New Orleans I had ever visited. We took full use of having the trolley a couple of blocks away. It was about a 3 to 5 minute walk to get to the stop and it came about every 5 minutes. It was the easiest way to get downtown, plus we got to see some amazing old houses along the way. When we did take a taxi, it was about a $20 ride.
The house itself was incredible. The pictures really don't do it justice. You will fall in love with its classic layout and antique furnishings. The beds and bedding are sure to give you a great night's sleep. The water pressure in the showers was great (which I'm picky about), and when we arrived, the house was very well put together. Super clean, tons of extra towels, pillows, blankets, soap, etc., and even snacks and drinks.
Both the owner and property manager were readily available to answer any and all questions throughout the process, and by the state of the house upon our arrival, were very committed to making sure we had a wonderful weekend in the house.
I could keep gushing for paragraphs, but I'll keep it short and sweet. We couldn't have asked for a better place to spend the weekend, and we absolutely cannot wait to come again.
Recently spent my 30th birthday in New Orleans for Mardi Gras. The manager and owner made sure that my stay exceeded my expectations. They went above and beyond and surprised me with a King Cake waiting for us upon our arrival. The manager took the time to answer any question I had, and pointed me in the right direction for everything that we were looking to accomplish on this adventure. Moreover, the residence was spacious, elegant, and cozy. The place looks amazing in person. This was my first adventure to New Orleans, but I am most certain, it will not be my last. Thanks for making my birthday extra special!
Our group had this property booked for over 3 weeks, fully paid, only to find that 2 weeks prior to our arrival that Joseph had double booked us. He blames it on a calendar issue (between the two major home sites) despite telling us on the day we initially booked that he had checked both. It would have been understandable to find that we were double booked within a few days of our reservation, yet to find out nearly a month later with only 2 weeks till our arrival is highly unprofessional.
I am writing this review to make sure that in the future people make sure that Joseph is not double booking them as well. Very disappointing.
This rental is in the upscale uptown area only blocks from Tulane and Loyola. The area around the home is surrounded by restaurants and Oak Street is only 3 blocks from the front door. The street car is only 2 blocks from the home. It will take you to the French Quarter in only 20 or a cab will be about $25.
