What a great place to stay in Hillcrest! Exceeded exceptions based on the listing. Below is a list of reasons why we liked staying here, but one of the best things was dealing with Jeff, the owner. We had some questions before and during our trip and Jeff was always quick to respond. Okay, so on top of Jeff being awesome, here's why we liked this place:
Lots of room! Three good size bedrooms, all with very comfortable king beds. I especially liked that the bedrooms and bathrooms were split up, two BRs and a BA on one side of the living/dining area and one BR/BA on the other. It made staying here with another couple feel like we each had privacy. There is no central air, but it's not needed. There are high end window units in two of the bedrooms, but even in August we didn't use it one night and just had the windows open. We didn't use the kitchen/dining area other than to make coffee, but they are very spacious and well equipped.
No car necessary! Easy 15 min Uber/Lyft from the airport. All bars/restaurants in Hillcrest are anywhere from a 5 min to 15 min walk. But it's also an easy 12 min Uber/Lyft to the beach areas. And although you are close enough to walk places, it's far enough that it was very quiet at night.
Plus it was the little things that made it a good place to stay. Nice towels in the bathroom. Chocolates on your pillow when you arrive. A bottle of wine as a welcome gift. And a book of recommendations of things to do and places to eat and have fun.
Thanks again, Jeff, for a great place to stay and even better hospitality. We will be back!!
We had a fantastic time staying in apartment one at the Cotswold Perfumery. The owner has thought about everything to ensure guests have an amazing stay. Why pay for a small hotel room when you can have pure luxury in an apartment at such great value for money! We didn't want to leave!
The thought that has gone into making this apartment perfect, is amazing. The listing description is so accurate. The apartment was very clean. The customer service was excellent. We arrived just before the snow and were met at the apartment by Brenda, who showed us around the apartment. The table was set for afternoon tea, with fresh scones, cream and jam. In the kitchen there was fresh bread, butter, eggs, tea, coffee sugar and milk! What more could you ask for after a 3 hour drive. We were in Cheltenham for friends Ruby Wedding weekend. I would recommend this apartment.
