Remodeled Carriage House In Denver

****Starting Nov 2017, this will be a "long short-term rental". We will only be accepting reservations over 30 days. The monthly rate is $1600 including all utilities (cable, wifi, power, water). If you submit an inquiry, taxes will show as being charged on the amount. TAXES ARE NOT CHARGED on rentals longer than 30 days. Please DISREGARD the tax line item.*****

In March 2017 we completely redid this charming Carriage House. New furniture, new bed, new patio furniture and new decor. This is a perfect place for a weekend away or an extended trip to Denver.

The Carriage House is centrally located -- 8 blocks to Washington Park (Wash Park), 2 miles to Cherry Creek shopping area and a $10 Uber ride to downtown Denver. The Cherry Creek Trail is a few blocks away and a great way to see the city! A bicycle sharing station is right across the street. A light-rail station is about 1 mile away and will take you to downtown or the airport.

As mentioned in many reviews, we are right next to (across the street) a great local bar, one of the best Italian restaurants in Denver and an amazing coffee shop for your morning fix.

Q: Is there a washer and dryer?

A: Yes! There is a coin operated washer and dryer in the basement of the main building on site. You will be given the code to access the basement in the Welcome Book.

Q: Is this a shared rental?

A: The carriage house is a stand alone property and is rented by only one guest at a time. You won't be sharing the carriage house with anyone else. There is a larger building on the property with long term residents. They have use of the courtyard.

Q: Is there parking available?

A: Yes, we have free, on-street parking. Usually you can find a spot within 1 block of the carriage house.

Q: Is the courtyard shared?

A: Yes, there is a larger home on the property that shares the courtyard. There is plenty of seating for everyone.

Q: Is smoking allowed?

A: No smoking of any kind (including marijuana) is allowed inside the property. People are, however, allowed to smoke in the shared, enclosed courtyard.

Q: Do you rent this property on Craig's List?

A: NO!!!!!!!!! And if you see this property listed on any other non-VRBO associated website, it is a scam! Please do not fall victim to their scheme! I am the only one who will ever contact you about this rental. No one other than me has the authority to rent this property.

Great place to spend the weekend

The property is in a perfect location to visit all parts of central Denver. It is a beautifully renovated carriage house that is very well-maintained. It is quiet and convenient with on-street parking always available. We really enjoy our time there and hope to stay there again.

Great place in a fabulous area

We recently stayed in the carriage home during our stay in Denver. It was a great place in a super walkable location. I believe the largest Lyft ride we took was about $11. We will absolutely be looking to stay here again next time we're in Denver!

Great property, just very thin walls

The property itself is great. Plenty of space for two, very clean, and very well furnished. It was perfect for my wife and me. The neighborhood is great too. I would highly recommend the Denver Biscuit Co. and burgers at the Spot Bar across the street. Parking on the street was never an issue either. The only downfall is that the walls are thin, and noise travels extremely well through them. We could hear someone skateboarding on the sidewalk at 3am (not even talking or playing music, just rolling by), and there is a bar directly across the street so there is noise late into the night. My wife and I are normally deep sleepers, but this woke us up several times through the night. The bed headboard is right against the outside wall to the street, so that doesn't help. It was better on the week nights we stayed as opposed to Sat and Sun night. The bar was hosting an NFL watch party on Sunday, so it might be better out of season.
