Creek Wood on Rabbit Creek. Relax & unwind under the trees by the stream!
Creek wood is a great place to come and enjoy the peaceful quiet environment of the Cherokee mountains. We invite you to come relax and take in the fresh mountain air. Located in the Cherokee National Forest, adjacent to the scenic Foothills Parkway, just minutes from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park , Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Dollywood.
Creek wood is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath cabin situated in a natural forest setting, surrounded with tree's and mountain laurels and a private stream in back.
Clean. Had shower head but no way to take a shower. Not for person that can't do a tub bath. Called to ask about it but received no answer. Hot tub had been relocated but not enough room around it to remove the top. Cabin below could see anyone in hot tub. Has pub style table with bar stools. If you are elderly and have problems getting up in one this is not for you. Couch and chair are hard to get out of with leg problems. Would only recommend to someone younger.
Cabin was great, in a great quite place with mountain views, and fenced in so our yorkie could run at her leisure. Really a good experience. We will be back.
Great cabin, the new extended wrap around porch was a great surprise ! The small fenced in area for our 2 small dogs was a blessing ! They loved it ,(not having to be on leash to explore ). Plenty of fresh towels and washcloths , we did enjoy having the washer and dryer also ! The cabin was decorated exactly like the pics , very homey and CLEAN ! Only one thing I would change , maybe more porch lighting ...Maybe some solar lights around the steps . The trip to Gatlingburg was about 40 minutes , but they were diners and shops along the way ,very enjoyable drive (we went everyday ! ).Overall this is a wonderful cabin , would recommend highly !
Thanks for sharing your mountain cabin !
Nice and quiet location. Roomy and comfortable with everything we needed for a great stay. Pet friendly and plenty of room for them to roam outside.
We loved our stay at this cabin! To get there you drive past a beautiful red barn and fields, off the beaten path, until you arrive to a little street with cabins tucked away. It has the privacy we wanted without feeling secluded. The cabin was extremely clean and had lots of windows to take in the view of the trees. We had everything we needed, including a washer and dryer which came handy after our long days hiking in the Smokies. The cabin as a wonderful wrap around porch which made it hard to choose whether to sit up front or in the back and enjoy the sounds of the creek. The TV worked great so we got to see some of the Olympics at night too. Thank you for a great stay!
