Creek Wood on Rabbit Creek. Relax & unwind under the trees by the stream!
Creek wood is a great place to come and enjoy the peaceful quiet environment of the Cherokee mountains. We invite you to come relax and take in the fresh mountain air. Located in the Cherokee National Forest, adjacent to the scenic Foothills Parkway, just minutes from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park , Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Dollywood.
Creek wood is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath cabin situated in a natural forest setting, surrounded with tree's and mountain laurels and a private stream in back.
Nice and quiet location. Roomy and comfortable with everything we needed for a great stay. Pet friendly and plenty of room for them to roam outside.
We loved our stay at this cabin! To get there you drive past a beautiful red barn and fields, off the beaten path, until you arrive to a little street with cabins tucked away. It has the privacy we wanted without feeling secluded. The cabin was extremely clean and had lots of windows to take in the view of the trees. We had everything we needed, including a washer and dryer which came handy after our long days hiking in the Smokies. The cabin as a wonderful wrap around porch which made it hard to choose whether to sit up front or in the back and enjoy the sounds of the creek. The TV worked great so we got to see some of the Olympics at night too. Thank you for a great stay!
With the stream out back a little yard for dogs and baby gates for the decks this was the prefect cabin if you have dogs
The cabin was wonderful especially for the price. My family and I loved the stay. We highly recommend it. The Cosby entrance to the Smoky Mountains is also beautiful and away from the Gatlinburg crowd. Gatlinburg is only 20 mins away if you want to go to the tourist area. Grab this cabin whenever you can. Hot tub outside and all the amenities make it quite the bargain.
This is a very lovely cabin with a wonderfully wooded yard. Cabin was neat and very clean and very nice inside. You cannot beat the back porch overlooking the stream and the front is nice as well, but a bit more exposed. The only negative was that it is very close to two other cabins. Although Gatlinburg is less than 20 miles away, it takes around 40 minutes to get there. As noted, Dollar General and Carver's Apple Barn are very close for supplies and eating. If I owned it, I would probably add some more warm touches like lamps for bedside and sofa reading purposes. Setting is so relaxing we never turned on the TV. We didn't want the world to intrude on this wonderful place.
This two bedroom was perfect for our stay, two 60+ adults wanting to escape the Louisiana August heat/humidity and retreat to the mountains. It is located about 40 min. drive from Pigeon Forge along what we jokingly called "Thunder Road". The surrounding area is beautiful. In fact this cabin is situated behind a beautiful huge apple orchard which you drive through to get to the location. Be SURE to have a meal in the Apple House Restaurant, only a five minutes from the door. The property was sparkling clean upon arrival, plenty of towels and paper goods, and a courteous starter breakfast setup of coffee, breakfast bars and a bag of microwave popcorn. Beds were comfortable. We did not operate use the hot tub but it was very clean. Campfire beside the creek was fun at night. This location is near lesser used (less traffic) entrance to the National park. There is a Dollar General about 5 minutes away with most grocery and supply needs. Large concentration of restaurants and large grocery available 10 miles away in Newport. Note - regular coffee pot on site. Nice big kettle style BBQ grill on back porch. Fireplace is a bit funky---electric believe it or not. Service from rental manager was very good. Satellite TV system and internet wi-fi worked great!
