Updated, private, and comfortable single family home in the 24-hour man gated community of Spanish Wells. Enjoy the golf course and lake view from the large lanai with private solar-heated pool.

The Living Room, Dining room, and Master Bedroom each directly access the lanai. The recently-remodeled, fully equipped open concept Kitchen has granite countertops and stainless steel appliances and overlooks both the family room, dining room, and formal living room. The large master bedroom has a king size bed with an en suite bathroom and walk-in closet. You will have plenty of privacy in this bedroom as the guest bedrooms are located on the other side of the house. Guest Bedroom 1 offers queen sized bed and shares a bathroom with Guest Bedroom 2 which has a daybed available for use (turns into a king-sized bed). Pack n' Play available for any little ones staying with you.

Enjoy grilling dinner on the gas BBQ and eating in the lanai which has ample seating for six or inside the dining room which also seats six. Listen to music utilizing the outdoor speakers or enjoy watching television on the 37" outdoor television . Don’t forget to grab a drink from the outdoor mini-fridge or mix one up at the indoor wet bar! 50” flatscreen TV with Cable, surround sound, and DVD player available in Living room along with a TV in the Master Bedroom. Bring your laptops and iPads as there is wireless internet at your disposal. Free long distance phone calls to the US and Canada available as well.

Washer and Dryer are available onsite. Towels and 1000-thread count linens are provided. No need to bring your beach chairs or towels as we provide them along with a beach umbrella, cooler, 2 bicycles and more.

Spanish Wells is located within 3 miles to the award-winning Barefoot Beach, and just minutes to restaurants and grocery stores. In Southwest Florida, you will also be near many golf courses, malls, water activities, and more!

About The Schmidts

This home is family-owned by Horst and Gale along with their son, Kevin and his wife, Autumn. The three Schmidts are from Ontario, Canada, while Autumn is originally from Wisconsin. Horst and Gale continue to live in Ontario full time and are excited to also vacation at this new Florida property of theirs from time to time. Kevin and Autumn currently live in Germany where Kevin plays professional hockey. They also plan to vacation at this beautiful Florida property during the off-seasons.

Why The Schmidts chose Bonita Springs

Kevin had vocalized his dream of owning a house in Florida to Autumn back in 2011. The idea was mentioned to Horst and Gale and after vacationing in the Bonita Springs area, they fell in love and we all decided Southwest Florida was where we wanted to be. After seeing many properties in the Naples/Bonita Springs area, we decided on this particular Spanish Wells property because of the views from the large lanai, and the beauty and safety of the Spanish Wells community.

Winter of 2018

We found the home to be very comfortable and was supplied to meet all our needs. The lanai/pool area is where we spent most of our time. Was nice to have a choice to spend time in the sun or shade. The home was conveniently located to stores and restaurants. This is the first time we stayed in a gated community and we enjoyed the feeling of safety that comes with that level of security. The owners of the home were easy to reach and quickly responded to any questions or concerns. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to get away and enjoy nicer weather.

Great place to spend winter, especially if from Michigan

Really enjoyed spending this year in Bonita Springs and this home. For years we've stayed on the water on Vanderbilt Beach but we discovered a unexpected plus here. No constant wind that you get on the waterfront. This home was perfect for our lifestyle; sitting by the pool, reading and convenient to many restaurants, shopping and theaters. Only complaint, which we've found in other rentals, all the light bulbs had low (energy saving) bulbs. If you are a reader, bring your own 150 watt bulbs. We also purchased a lamp to give us each a reading spot. One suggestion, if you stay for a long period, get a car window bar code sticker to allow easy access into the property. Cost only $11.00 but well worth it. Another big plus, is the easy ingress/exit to the property. You are on your own once out as US 41 can be a killer in Feb. Mar. Use the back exit when possible; easy exit north or south. If any home concerns during stay, the local assistance person is Bill ( across the street). Great guy and very helpful. He also is a Ace Hardware guy and very knowledgeable about home problems.

Visit The Stage while there. Fun evening. It is right accross from the Bonita Beach entrance.

We probably would have rented again here but owners needed our decision only ten days into our stay and we were not settled in yet and ready to decide. I guess it is important to get next year's renter ASAP. They should do it like the traitor parks do it. No new renters until March...

in other words, we are so sure that our rental is so nice, the current renters will wish to come back.

Home away from home

This rental in Spanish Wells was perfect for us! We felt very comfortable and truly felt like we had all the comforts of home.

The house was clean, well equipped and conveniently located just as it was advertised. We loved the friendly safe neighborhood and the peaceful view from the lanai. Our favorite part was walking the near by beach in the morning. Restaurants and stores were all minutes away. The owners were easy and efficient to do business with and that was greatly appreciated . We would absolutely recommend this rental.

Peaceful retreat

We could not have been more satisfied with the house and community of Spanish Wells. This is a perfect house for a family of six, or like us, two couples down for golf and enjoying the the sights of SW Florida. We had beautiful weather and spent most our time out in the lanai area and in the pool. Spanish Wells is a safe and quiet community yet close to everything.

Great Escape

We enjoyed a very relaxing vacation at this lovely, well-equipped, clean home. Nothing better than sitting in the pool watching the golfers play by. The home is in a great location, close enough to beach, shopping and restaurants, but nestled in a quiet, nicely maintained neighborhood. The owners were extremely accommodating. We hate to recommend because it could be hard to get a booking in the future!
