About the property

3 bedroom,3 bathroom, Luxury condo overlooking beautiful Dover Beach.

Our property is a well laid-out 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom unit located on the 5th, floor. Within a complex there excellent facilities spread over ocean facing buildings and was designed by renowned architect Ian Morrison. It benefits from over 370 feet of beachfront which extends and expands onto the popular Dover Beach with its white sand and crystal clear turquoise waters. Our unit has unforgettable direct ocean panoramic beach views.

The location of our property is very near St Lawrence Gap or 'The Gap' and provides you with a level of convenience few other properties offer as many shopping, dining, entertainment and activity options are within easy walking distance. As a result, you do not require a vehicle to access much of what guests require such as banking and dining to grocery facilities and much more.

The international airport in Barbados, Grantley Adams International Airport, is a short 15 minute drive to our unit. Bridgetown is a similar short drive to the west.

Among the facilities available at Sapphire Beach are two large beachfront pools, private off-road parking and a fully equipped gym. Common amenities to our apartment include air-conditioning, a fully equipped Italian kitchen, telephones, cable TV's with HBO along with smart televisions and high speed wireless internet.

This unit is within a gated complex and features 24hr security.

We hope to welcome you soon to our Sapphire in Barbados and know your first stay will be your first of many.

Note: We can accommodate very comfortably in each room 2 guests for a total of 6 guest and on occasion we can accommodate an extra 1 adult and or 2 children's in room #2 for a total of 8 guests.

Why Fran chose Saint Lawrence Gap

There are many reasons we chose our Barbados property. The beach, the weather which is always around 29 degrees Celsius and the lack of hurricanes are the primary reasons for purchasing this property. The stability of the Island and the friendly population are also main contributing factors. Flights are readily available and Bajan standards are modeled after British and North American standards so everything in pretty much compatible....except the weather.

What makes this villa unique

Amazing views overlooking Dover beach from a penthouse perspective. There is active bird watching from the unit of many local species. There are humming birds galore so bring your hummingbird feeder if you have one.The master bedroom opens to a large terrace overlooking the south ocean with its amazing turquoise waters. Restaurants and many amenities all within walking distance.

Girls' trip

The condo had everything you could possibly need. It was within walking distance to several restaurants and shops. Beach was beautiful. The AC takes getting used to as it is on a sensor and only comes on when you enter room and goes off when you leave. The kitchen was fully stocked with cookware and dishes so we cooked breakfast a few mornings and cooked fish that we caught. We didn't rent a car but found an awesome taxi driver that took us anywhere we wanted to go and toured island with him. His name is Fernando and his card is on board in condo. Also went out on Silver Moon catamaran for morning and afternoon cruise. I would highly recommend it!

Barbados at its best!!!

My family and I recently rented this condo in the St. Lawrence Gap. First of all the view from the balcony was straight out of a postcard. The condo was clean, spacious and had all of the amenities for a home away from home. The beach was very close to the condo and was clear and blue, not crowded and most days there were even a few turtles to swim around with. There are many good restaurants within walking distance and easy access to taxi's or the bus if you choose to explore. This spacious yet cozy condo is a gem. There was even some welcoming groceries when we arrived to get us started. Most importantly some Banks beer!! We will be back.

Perfection!

Everything about this property exceeded our expectations. From first arrival, Prudence was there to greet us and show us the ropes.

We were a family of 6 adults and one infant. The bedrooms were roomy and well equipped. We needed a crib and it was brought up and assembled right away. There were some snacks, cakes and juices that were in the kitchen when we arrived which was very nice of the property owners to supply. We also were offered the service of having someone purchase more extensive groceries so that we didn't have to go out to the supermarket right away. It was well worth the $20 to have someone stock your kitchen up.Take advantage of this service if you can.

The condo views were amazing! I have stayed in a lot of home rentals and this is by far the nicest, most accommodating rental we have ever stayed in.

Allison, the housekeeper, comes in on Wednesday's and was so very nice and didn't make us feel like we were in her way at all, even though I am sure we were.

The property is close to everything. Restaurants, grocery, pharmacy/clinic, shopping, etc.

Do not hesitate to rent this property. You will not be disappointed. France was a pleasure to work with and made everything easy.

We will be back!

Perfect Location and Room with a View!

This is an excellent location, within walking distance to great restaurants or local fare. The condo was well equipped with everything you need and then some. Very clean and well maintained, the property management team were very attentive and always available. The view from the 5th floor balcony is amazing! We have already booked in for next year.

Paradise

A great location with a wonderful view off of the balcony just steps from the beach. The condo was very clean and equipped with all essentials. It is a very secure complex with very friendly security guards. Sisi and Jameela were extremely accommodating and very accessible throughout our stay. The welcome, starter kit of apples, eggs, bread, butter, cookies, juice and milk were very welcome as we arrived very late on a Saturday. The convenience store with essentials is located only a couple blocks away and a short taxi ride takes you to a larger grocery store. Terrific restaurants are only short walks away from the unit. We enjoyed Primo, Champers, and Harlequin the most and spent a few evenings at Sharkeys enjoying some drinks. We had a terrific time in Barbados and will definitely stay at Sapphire again when we return in the future. Thank you for such wonderful accommodations.

Enjoyable Holiday

Our party comprised 6 family members meeting up from different parts of the world. Our apartment was well equipped and enjoyed a lovely view from the balcony. We cooked every meal "at home" and the kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils, pots and pans and crockery. The supermarkets were convenient, though food is very expensive compared to the UK. We were able to walk to many bars in the evening and we made a point of mixing with the locals (who are very friendly). Beer was cheaper to drink per unit than soft drinks and milk!!!! The local bus services were incredible - $2 Bajan to go any distance - and we never waited more than a couple of minutes for a bus to arrive. Traveled most of the Island sights by bus.
