Our property is a well laid-out 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom unit located on the 5th, floor. Within a complex there excellent facilities spread over ocean facing buildings and was designed by renowned architect Ian Morrison. It benefits from over 370 feet of beachfront which extends and expands onto the popular Dover Beach with its white sand and crystal clear turquoise waters. Our unit has unforgettable direct ocean panoramic beach views.
The location of our property is very near St Lawrence Gap or 'The Gap' and provides you with a level of convenience few other properties offer as many shopping, dining, entertainment and activity options are within easy walking distance. As a result, you do not require a vehicle to access much of what guests require such as banking and dining to grocery facilities and much more.
The international airport in Barbados, Grantley Adams International Airport, is a short 15 minute drive to our unit. Bridgetown is a similar short drive to the west.
Among the facilities available at Sapphire Beach are two large beachfront pools, private off-road parking and a fully equipped gym. Common amenities to our apartment include air-conditioning, a fully equipped Italian kitchen, telephones, cable TV's with HBO along with smart televisions and high speed wireless internet.
This unit is within a gated complex and features 24hr security.

Note: We can accommodate very comfortably in each room 2 guests for a total of 6 guest and on occasion we can accommodate an extra 1 adult and or 2 children's in room #2 for a total of 8 guests.
There are many reasons we chose our Barbados property. The beach, the weather which is always around 29 degrees Celsius and the lack of hurricanes are the primary reasons for purchasing this property. The stability of the Island and the friendly population are also main contributing factors. Flights are readily available and Bajan standards are modeled after British and North American standards so everything in pretty much compatible....except the weather.
Amazing views overlooking Dover beach from a penthouse perspective. There is active bird watching from the unit of many local species. There are humming birds galore so bring your hummingbird feeder if you have one.The master bedroom opens to a large terrace overlooking the south ocean with its amazing turquoise waters. Restaurants and many amenities all within walking distance.
Our party comprised 6 family members meeting up from different parts of the world. Our apartment was well equipped and enjoyed a lovely view from the balcony. We cooked every meal "at home" and the kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils, pots and pans and crockery. The supermarkets were convenient, though food is very expensive compared to the UK. We were able to walk to many bars in the evening and we made a point of mixing with the locals (who are very friendly). Beer was cheaper to drink per unit than soft drinks and milk!!!! The local bus services were incredible - $2 Bajan to go any distance - and we never waited more than a couple of minutes for a bus to arrive. Traveled most of the Island sights by bus.
Our first time to Barbados. Everything worked out fine, will be on the list of places we will revisit.
Condo fit the bill. Location staff was very attentive, Dawn and company did a great job. Security was top notch. Fifth floor provided a great view. As suggested, we did not rent a car (first time without a car). Taxi's are outside 99 percent of the time if needed. Did a grocery store run to Massy's for $10US and took the shuttle back. Did an island tour with Fernando for $210US (four of us, 5 1/2 hours). Took a taxi to dinner once. Location was excellent. We walked into St Lawrence Gap for dinner's. Our favorite was Castaway's. On the water, good food, Robert the bartender is new best friend. About a fifteen minute walk. We tried a couple of other restaurants that had street views, good food but the water view trumped street view.
The Silver Moon catamaran sailing was great. We saw other boats that were similar size that looked like they had 50 people on board. Silver Moon has a 12 person max. Food and staff were wonderful. Drinks are included, they would come to the bow and bring us cocktails if desired. $115US per person, 9AM-2PM.
Fran was easy and accommodating, a pleasure to work with. If we return to Barbados, this will be the place we stay.
This unit was absolutely amazing and precisely matched the pictures. It was a group of 6 and we were beyond comfortable. Upon arrival, we were greeted very nicely. The tour given by the property management team was very helpful. We were provided snacks and a refrigerator stocked with beverages, which was totally unexpected but an awesome gesture. The wifi worked great, the unit was stocked with everything we needed including dishes and towels. We didn't have a car, but it was very easy to get a taxi right downstairs. The access to the pools and the beach was a major plus, giving you that resort feeling. The property is very secure with codes and keys needed for access in and out. There was an ATM, convenience store and various places to eat all in walking distance. I will definitely be staying here again the next time I visit Barbados.

Lovely condo! Very spacious! My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Sapphire Beach condominiums. The unit was perfect, and accommodations at the complex were well-kept and inviting. A short walk to a variety a restaurants and shops. If we return to Barbados, we will stay here again. Thank you for sharing your home with us!
Everything about this vacation was excellent. The condo was fantastic, it had everything you needed. Spectacular view Very spacious, clean, kitchen was fully equipped with what you needed. Area was great, easy access to foods and shopping. Grounds, pool and beach were very clean. Big thank you to France and Anita. Steven who drove us around the island, drove us to dinners(Oistins), airport, etc. I will definitely return.
