Fell in love with Brazil, that region (sertão), its people and that village decades ago. Have been improving the lot all these years and now the house is finished. A shame to leave it empty most of the year.
This is the kind of place people dream about., Seemingly endless white beaches, quiet, exotic, friendly locals, and all with the comforts of a well thought out, large home. Once you sit on the front porch or recline in the hammock under the large cashew overlooking the ocean, you will never want to go home again.
Rodeos and dances (forró) locally. Festival of Nossa Señoro dos Navegantes in Areia Branca at the end of August. Festa do Boi, regional livestock fair and auction in Mossoro during the latter part of August.
