About Frank

We are a family of 6, with 4 kids (17 - 21 years old) who have enjoyed skiing in Zwitserland with family and friends in the winter and hiking in the summer for some years now.

Why Frank chose Laax

Our apartment is liked by people who are looking for space and luxury. People who visit us like the the 5,5m high living room, the big bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (one with bath the other with a 2 person Steamcabin). And of course our 60m2 partly covered terrace. In the summer (and winter) you can use the outdoor electrical grill. In the summer we always make a trip to Italy (Milaan, Como), een zeer mooie rit op ca. 2,5 - 3 uur rijden van ons apartement.

What makes this apartment unique

Our apartment is very close to Laax Bergbanen, walking distance 10 - 15 minutes or 1 busstop. With restaurants and bars close by, there is a lot to do for everyone, but not too close, so you can sleep in a quiet place at night. Flying in through Basel, Zurich or Milan will take you to our apartment in a 2 - 3 hours drive. But you can also reach Laax by train/bus or Easyjet bus.

Notes:
In the winter you can ski, snowboard, sled, langlauf and skate. There are several welnness hotels and facilities on walking and driving (10 minutes) distance. A swimming pool is in Laax Dorf, only 2 kilometer distance. And you can start walking in the forests just outside our apartment. In the summer Graubunden offers a range of outdoors facilities, among them 18 golf courts.

Perfect Appartment for a perfect week

We’ve been skiing in Laax for over 10 years and this is one of the nicest apartments we have stayed in with a smaller group of people. It has everything you’d expect from a higher end rental, and is perfectly located. Loved the steam shower which helped banish any aching muscles after a full day shredding the pistes!

Modern, spacious luxury apartment with large balcony space. Good location.

The apartment is of a very high standard and well fitted out. A small negative would be that it only has one bathroom, it was ok with just four of us but if it had been six it may have not been so convenient.

I would definitely recommend the apartment and would book it again.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your review. The good news is that we are starting renovation April 2017 and will add a fully equiped second bathroom (shower, toilet). So starting winter 2017 we will have 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. We will change the description as soon as we are ready.

Lovely apartment in great location for the slopes

Spent a great week at the apartment in January 2017. A fantastically well appointed apartment which provides all that you'd need. It's clean, tidy, modern with great facilities including parking, washing facilities and ski lockers. 4 of us stayed here (the apartment can easily accommodate 6 people though) for a weeks' snowboarding and it is handily located for getting to the main lifts in LAAX, either via the free bus no more than 500m from the building are a 5-10 minute walk, the supermarket and the bars and restaurants around the LAAX base station.

The owner was very helpful and attentive throughout the booking process and dealt quickly with a query we had during our stay.

In summary a great apartment in a good location on the doorstep of a great ski area. Well worth a visit.

Zeer mooi ruim appartement voorzien van alle luxe!

Zeer mooi en ruim appartement voorzien van alle denkbare luxe. Vorig jaar ook een week verbleven maar is nu zeer mooi verbouwd met een tweede badkamer die zelfs voorzien is van een tweepersoons stoomcabine. Heerlijk na een lange wandeling maar uitmuntend na een dagje skieën!

Er is ook als er geen sneeuw is genoeg te doen. Er zijn talloze adembenemende wandelroutes direct vanuit het appartement te starten. Ook hebben we een dagje liggen luieren aan de Caumasee op aanraden van de eigenaar. Wat een ervaring bij dit glasheldere meer met zeer goede facaliteiten.

Ook bij een minder mooie dag had de eigenaar een tip om even over de Italiaanse grens het plaatsje Como te bezoeken aan het Comomeer. Daar scheen de zon inderdaad dan weer wel en is een pitoresk stadje met een prachtige oude binnenstad met lekkere terrasjes

ruime, lichte woning met uitstekende bedden, goed uitgeruste keuken, mooi ruim terras.

De woning is goed bereikbaar, via de garage en lift. Ruime en lichte woning met uitstekende bedden en een mooi ruim terras. Schoon en goed onderhouden. Aardige en hulpvaardige eigenaar en goede service door serviceorganisatie ter plekke. Appartement is gelegen nabij de liften, goed toegankelijk, ook met de gratis bus. Geweldig ski- en wandel gebied. In het complex zijn wasmachines en drogers aanwezig maar deze konden we helaas niet gebruiken.

In de winterperiode start de week op zondag 16.00u en eindigt op zondag 9.00u. De kosten voor eindschoonmaak, handdoeken en bedlinnen zijn inclusief. Gratis parkeren voor 2 autos in onze eigen parkeerkelder. Toeristenbelasting is in de prijs inbegrepen.
Bij aankomst is een borg verschuldigd van 500 Sfr te voldoen via een Credit Card. Schade aan het apartement wordt verrekend door de lokale vertegenwoordiger.

Als de huurder het apartement voortijdig verlaat, is toch de volledige huursom verschuldigd. Bij overtreding van de huisregels of het veroorzaken van schade of overlast, is de eigenaar of de vertegenwoordiger van de eigenaar gerechtigd de huurder uit het apartement te zetten zonder vergoeding. De eigenaar kan te allen tijde zonder voorafgaande waarschuwing het apartement betreden voor inspectie.
